  • Rabbit turned to the tabby she-cat and said "Hi, Yellowmoon. How're you?" He didn't really feel like talking, but she didn't have to know that. He flicked his tail solemnly, watching the blind molly.

//It's okay, I'm having low muse right now

  • " I'm concerned. Everyone smells distressed, including you. What happened? " She questioned, selling down besides the Tom, her tail flicking against him as she pointlessly gazed in his general direction.

  • Rabbit cringed, clearly uncomfortable. "You know the kit, Fog?" He locked eyes with her, though this gesture was pointless, and continued "Curio found, or 'found' him dead." He stressed the found, as he was pretty sure Curio did more than find the kit. He should mention it, but when? He couldn't say anything now, as Raven was mourning, Curio felt 'terrible', and the sisters had just joined. Oh, Amber would know what to do!

  • "You don't trust him. " She stated with a shake of her fur. "I don't either. He doesn't smell right. Never will either" She told him rising up. "You seem to need a moment. I'm here to talk" She told him before sniffing towards the cave.

  • Rabbit sighed. "He's got a suspicious smirk, too." At her next comment, he added "Okay, thanks." He watched her go, then returned to his position, silently watching for Amber. Amber the great. Amber the perfect. He suddenly resented her. Amber the high and mighty. Amber the hero to all. He stood up, shaking himself off. These thought weren't good for him, or anyone else! He padded back into the cave, to a scene almost the same as when he'd left.

  • Honey let out a sigh at Raven's response. "Would you at least like me to gather flowers for the burial?" Before Raven could respond, Violet moved away from Curio, a partially pleading look in her green eyes. "If you want to go with her, I can watch Storm and Frost for you!" Honey shot a thankful llook towards her littermate before looking back at Raven.

  • Hearing pawsteps, Hazel turned to see Rabbit returning. Padding over to him, she gave a nod of her head. "Hey," she said, pausing for a moment, uncertain of what to say. She was about to ask if he was okay, but that was poor question. Clearly he was, considering what had just happened. Still, she wanted to check on his mental state. "How are you feeling?" She asked him, deciding he could tell her how her felt or thought if he wanted to.

Cedar hung back, uncertain of what to say to Raven and the others. He was willing to help dig the grave if they needed help. Really, he'd do whatever they needed him to do. But, he didn't know them well. The quiet tom was uncertain of how to approach. Finally, he bucked up and padded over to them in time to hear Violet speak. "I can help with whatever you guys need me to do," he told Honey in a quieter tone.

  • Rabbit turned to Hazel and nodded. "I'm fine, I just wish Amber were here." Gale was missing, and Amber was gone, so that made Rabbit in charge, he reasoned, though he didn't like this reasoning. "I don't know what to do." That was more than enough feelings talk for him, but he lingered to see what she would say.

  • Hazel listened attentively as Rabbit spoke, nodding in understanding. "I can understand that. This is all so sudden. But it's okay to not know what to do," she said, giving a reassuring smile. Or at least she hoped it would be reassuring. "All we can really do is offer Raven our help, and let her know we're here for her." At least, that was all Hazel really needed after her and Cedar's mother had died. Hazel watched the others for a moment before asking in a low whisper, "Do you think we and some others should make sure there's nothing dangerous nearby? I mean...what killed him could still be out there." Hazel felt it was clear that something had killed Fog, given his wound. And Hazel didn't want to see anyone else get hurt or killed.

  • Raven sat up when Honey offered to help collect flowers. Hesitating, her eyes flashed towards her two remaining kits worriedly until Violet offered to watch the two. At that, Raven nodded in agreement. "Alright," the black she-cat meowed, getting to her paws.

  • Honey gave a small nod to Raven, relieved that the queen felt mentally well enough to get up and at least go gather flowers. Maybe I can find the place where Curio found Fog. The thought set into the cream and grey feline's mind as she guided Raven from the cave and into the forest, seeminly just walking but, in reality, she was trying to pick up the freshest of Curio's scent over the old, let alone between all the other cats' smells. She gave a glance over at Raven every now and then, checkon her expression and body language for alarming or out-of-place body language.

Violet, unlike her sister, hung back in the cave, approaching the remaining two of Raven's kits with a mother's gentle touch. "Are you two doing alright?" Murmured the grey and cream-white cat, her tail resting behind the kits for comfort.

  • //So sorry! My muse has been so low lately... mostly 'cause work and a new relationship

    Salem

The kittypet seemed to think about it. Though it was short-lived. Imagining it, trying to say goodbye to her humans would be pointless, no matter what she did. They barely understood her as it was-- knew when she wanted to go outside or when she was hungry. However, outside of that, they were clueless. They probably wouldn't understand this. So she shook her head. "It's probably for the best if I don't go back," She concluded. Besides, she'd have to adjust quickly, for her kits' sakes.

  • (OOC: Here's a reply for Rabbit :) )

Hazel listened attentively as Rabbit spoke, nodding in understanding.

  • Yellowmoon had found her way a little ways from camp, hiding under the brush as she took a breather. She wasn't ready to go into the den, not with the grief there.

  • //Oh, I thought I replied. XC //

    Amber

Rabbit thought. "I guess, but Amber always knows what to do." Maybe offer comfort was all they could do. "But Curio has never been a friend. Everyone seems to agree, too." Amber was wrong about him, and Rabbit knew it. At Hazel's next whisper, Rabbit nodded. "You, me, and Yellowmoon." he whispered back. No more than three cats should go, he reasoned. No need to draw attention to them.

  • Yellowmoon let out a groan as boredness took over her, prompting her to return to the cave even though she didn't want to. With her mouth open she allowed the scenes of the world to begin leading her back, her ears pricked in ccase something, or someone, tried to attack her.

  • (OOC: It's okay, I've done that a lot before XD)

Hazel couldn't help but nod in agreement with Rabbit's remark about Curio. While she tired to see the best in her new-found friends and group, something was off about Curio. Though, Hazel couldn't really tell just what it was. She just felt uneasy about him. Ears perking as Rabbit answered her question, Hazel gave a nod of her head. "Sounds like a plan," she replied, her tone low. "Shall we go find her and head out now?"

  • Wide eyes entered the cave first, though they were of no use to her. With a twitch of her ears Yellowmoon continued into the cave, sniffing about as she did, looking for Rabbit or Tigerfoot.

  • Rabbit nodded absent-mindedly. "Yep, a plan. 3 cats searching for, what was it, a jagged rock? That's what Curio said." He laughed bitterly. There was no rock. Turning to the mouth of the cave, she found Yellowmoon making her way inside. "Come on." He dragged Hazel towards the tiger-striped she-, ready to go. Looking behind him, he realized dragging her was a bit much, and let go, apologizing. Turning to Yellowmoon, he added "Hi, have a couple minutes?"
