Rabbit nodded, completely ready to debunk Curio's alibi. "Let's go!" He jumped into a position more suited for walking, and took the lead, checking to see if Yellowmoon was following. "Hey, if you don't mind my asking, why're your and your brother's names so, ah, strange?"

Let me know if it’s okay

The young wolf-like tom finally spoke up after following Rabbit. Lykoi turned his yellow-orange orbs towards the lightly colored older tom. “Rabbit? Sir?” Lykoi cleated his throat and began to speak clearer. “I’d like to go with you.” He puffed out his slightly hairless chest. “To help take down Curio.” His lip curled up at even the sound of the terrible supposed murderer.
-
//Ah, Rabbit already left, Lykoi could follow them, though!
-
Yellowmoon followed close behind maybe three mouse-legnths, as she listened to his question. "We're were clan cats. Then time got hard and the leader felt as if I was more a burden than a help. So I was banished. Tigerfoot came with me" Yellowmoon replied softly, her heart breaking a little at the memory.
-
Rabbit understood her tone, and kept silent, despite his questions, like; what's a clan? Are the wanderers a clan? Why would anyone think you're a burden? That last one Rabbit hadn't realized he was thinking, and wouldn't ask anyway. Keeping his ears perked, he glanced around, looking for any clues to where he went. "Smell anything?" he whispered, as if not to disturb the evidence.
-
//Ah, okay.//
Rabbit turned to the young cat. "Oh! Where did you come from?" He turned to Yellowmoon. "Looks like we have company."
-
Raven hesitated when Honey asked the mother of her history. She hadn't really told anyone and no one had asked when she arrived, for the group seemed more focused on taking care of her before her kits were born. For the most part, she tended to only think of the happy memories. She hadn't let herself think about her kits father. For a few seconds, she busied herself tidying up the flowers into a pile that she could pick up. "Most of my life had been pretty nice, at least for a loner," Raven meowed eventually. "I have two brothers. They could be quite goofy and reckless, but they had good hearts."
-
Yellowmoon opened her jaws, taking in the scents of the forest before looking back, hearing the younger cat. "Should we bring him along? " She asked before opening her mouth to follow the scent. "He traveled straight ahead"

“I’ve just been following you guys. I need to help.” His eyes flickered to the side to Yellowmoon. Rabbit hadn’t responded to her yet. He was unsure if they would allow him to tag along. “I guess I just need to.” He flexed his pink clawed scar on his flank and turned back with a nervous smile.

//Next post will be my first containing Scout.//
"Ah, well, I guess you can come, you didn't tell anyone, did you?" Rabbit decided, nodding to the apprentice. He then turned to Yellowmoon. "If you could lead the way, I'll be right here behind you." He wouldn't, couldn't let anything happen to another clanmate.
-
Yellowmoon gave a sharp nod before drawing her jaw and beginning to lead. Her ears twutched as she moved, absorbing her surroundings. Finally she arrived at the end of the trail, a small clearing.

(OOC: Okay, great! And sorry for the late reply. I've been really busy at work lately :/ )
Hazel was silent as she padded through the foliage, ears perked. She parted her jaws slightly, taking in more of the scents around her. The tabby could still smell Scout, but she had yet to spot her. Where is she? Hazel wondered, glancing around. Se hoped that she found the other she-cat soon. She was starting to get a little worried, given what had just happened. Sighing, Hazel padded onward, alert for any sign of Scout.
-
// I'm temp-adopting Scout, until kira comes back. Also, I guess that means Twigs too, but he's unconscious.//
Scout glanced around, only just noticing Curio was gone. She'd been much to busy trying to shift the kit's weight, and attempting to get back to the cave. She'd failed at this, of course, and gotten herself completely lost. The only cat she knew was out here was Curio, so she put down the kit and called out for him.
Rabbit glanced around the clearing. "Is this where the trail leads? There's nothing here!" He sniffed around himself, scenting the faintest smell of blood. "However, they were here at one point."
-
(OOC: Okay!)
Hearing a voice, Hazel paused and perked her ears. It took a second to realize it was Scout. She was still trying to learn everyone's voice. "Scout?" Hazel called back, trotting towards the call. Stepping through the undergrowth, she soon spotted the other she-cat. "Hey, Scout, I was just looking for you," she meowed with a smile. She glanced towards the kit, relieved to see that it appeared to be okay.
Cedar turned and padded out of the cave, looking for any sign of wren feathers. He searched first around the cave. The tom eventually found a few of the small, brown feathers beneath an oak tree. Picking them up, Cedar turned and padded onward, looking for more of the feathers. He wanted to gather a good amount of them for the kits. Finding another, he paused to pick it up before continuing on his way.
-
Yellow moon stiffed about the clearing, her mouth opened as she tasted the air. "It smells like blood and death" She stated plainly. She turned her head towards her companion, ears twitching.
-
//Hmm, I don't want to contradict Scout's personality...//
Scout glanced at the cat in front of her. "Where's Curio? He was right here." She picked up the amber kit lightly by the scruff.
Rabbit looked at Yellowmoon. "Well, you're definitely a better smeller than I am." He scanned the area for any pointy rocks, or animal scents that could have could have killed the kit. "There's an old fox scent, I think it's too old though."
-
Hazel paused a moment before answering, almost uncertain of what to say. "Curio was back at the cave. He had found Fog...The poor kit was dead," she said solemnly. Hazel wondered how Scout felt about Curio, and if she was suspicious of the tom like she, Yellowmoon, and Rabbit were.
-
Scout thought. "Found the kit? He's a little intimidating, I believe you think otherwise, and maybe I agree." Her voice was muffled by the large kit, so she put him down again before repeating herself.
-
"I agree. If anyone died here it's be a while ago. We should sniff a bit more though. " She stated opening her mouth once again as she took in the clearing. " I'm going to check the edge of the clearing "
-
Hazel felt relieved when Scout said she might agree with her. Still, she found herself a little uncertain of what to tell, especially in front of the kitten with Scout. She didn't want to upset it. "I...I do think otherwise. He said the kit had died on some jagged rocks," Hazel explained, glancing around for a moment before looking back to Scout. "But...I don't know. Something feels off about the whole thing. Some others feel that way too." Hazel didn't know how all she could trust with this suspicion right now besides her brother, Yellowmoon, and Rabbit. So, she hoped she could trust Scout.
