  • Werewolves are such a controversial subject to many, some say they're evil beast while others view them as majestic beings whom deserve respect and admiration. But alas it is not meant to be. Werewolves and vampires have long been since discovered and are hunted down so that they can be showed off and set up like prizes. Of course when your own kind begins to get demolished for no reason you're bound to get ticked off and seek revenge. And that's exactly what happens. My character (A) is put up to a job to kidnap the princess, your character (B), this is in the medieval times so yes B can be decked out in gorgeous gowns or in boyish clothes, your decision. Anywho A kidnaps B and takes her to his pack where he holds her for ransom. He demands that the killing be stopped or he'll kill the next heir to the line and work his way up to the royals as well. It's up to you and I if we want them to fall in love or resent each other for all eternity.

  • Alright I'll start us off.

It was like any other night, the air was filled with silence except for the soft chirping of crickets that came out at night to play their songs. But something dangerous hung in the air, something vicious. Like a blur a flash of something white zipped through the forest, it was a lycanthrope. Many lycanthropes held a muscular build but this beast exceeded that. It was most likely a Alpha of a nearby pack that hid in the woods from the bloodthirsty humans that ravaged the lands. It was a hard time this year for everyone due to the early snow that fell from the skies. But the werewolves were strong and hearty as they feasted off of unprotected livestock. The Lycanthrope seemed to slow down as it came upon a open field, it halted at the edge of the forest line, its tall ears twitching in anticipation of the thrill it was about to endure. Its task was to kidnap the princess and if it could, murder the royals as well. It was a task for a talented beast indeed. After waiting several moments the beast began to edge forward with its belly close to the ground. This was a stealth mission and he wasn't about to screw it up because of impatience.

  • Catherine sat outside in the moonlit gardens. Of course she was forbidden from stepping foot outside at night but, she couldn't help it. An older man stood near by grumbling about how the king would have his head for this one. The young lady wasn't listening to enraptured in her own small thoughts. The night was beautiful and she ignored the danger that seemed to float in the wind. Humming an old pray song she stood up yawning softly. The guards were almost all gone most protecting her mother and father in their room. Everyone assumed the Princess was safe with the legendary Sir Gabriel although he was getting slower now with old age. "Gabriel can you go ask the kitchen for some fruit and milk?" The old knight grumbled softly and disappeared finally giving her the piece she wanted. Her soft brown hair unfurled as she untied it from the tight bun it was in. She took in a deep breath and closed her eyes.

  • The white Lycanthrope began to slink forward though quickly stopped when the clink of metal upon metal could be heard, he stood there for a moment before he charged forward, back legs propelling him forward so that he landed on top of the guard and sank his fangs into the man's neck. Blood squirted forth from the severed artery as the man fell to the ground with a strangled gurgle. He licked his bloodied maw before venturing forth so that he was now close to the castle. He sniffed the air as he tried to remember where the princesses room was in the castle but a sweet scent changed his direction. The flowers were still blooming around this time and the sweet scent of the flowers almost covered every scent that he attempted to pick up except for one. It smelled like lavender and honey which intrigued him. He ventured forth until he stood on the outskirts of the gardens, that was when he laid eyes on his target. She stood there among the flowers, long brown hair flowing down her back in waves. He had to knock her out, not kill her of course for she was to be their key to gaining everything they'd ever wanted. He quickly shifted back to human form, a excruciating process where bones broke then reformed back into the shape that formed the human anatomy. With a painful huff he shakily pushed himself back up then composed himself as he ventured forth. All that he wore was a simple tunic that could define him as poor, or a servant to the castle which was what he was aiming for. He out of the darkness and bowed to the young lady like all servants should do for the royals. "My lady...I hope I'm not interrupting you but...I must ask you of something." He edged closer to the princess then took a knee before her, bowing his head so that she could not see the grin that was forming on his lips.

  • She had started to venture further into the garden where the flowers rose around her in beautiful colors that were amazing even in the pale moonlight. She had no idea what was lurching in the shadows behind her. She was perfectly happy in her bliss and quiet moment alone. She blinked hearing soft footsteps behind her. It was not the heavy laden steps of her sworn night which was curious since she hadn't expected anyone else. Turning around abruptly she looked at a man who she didn't recognize bowing. She wasn't surprised she didn't know him since there were many servants in the castle she didn't know. Tipping her head softly she looked at him confused. "What is it?" She responded softly her blue eyes twinkling with curiousity. She had no idea anything was a miss. Gabriel's heavy steps were coming quickly down the hall. The castle was on high alert because of a suspected intruder but, he was already too late.

  • With a cynical smile, the man with white hair looked up at the princess and put a finger up to his lips. "Don't scream." With that he lunged forward, shifting into his wolf form and grabbed the princess carefully, he didn't want to harm her with his long claws that could easily pierce her skin with ease. He carried her bridle style in his muscular arms as he surged forward, easily maneuvering around obstacles and guards that attempted to stop him. He scaled over a wall and landed on the other side with a loud huff before running forward. He looked down at the princess with blue eyes that were almost white. They held intelligence and a calmness within them that could be almost frightening if anger tinted them. He focused on running back to camp with the petite women carefully, attempting to not harm her by accident, it wasn't hard for him to be gentle with her but it was difficult to maneuver his claws so that they weren't close to her delicate skin that could easily be pierced by just a touch of his claws. He slowed down after a while or running, he knew he was far away from the castle by now. They would certainly send a search party after him but they'd most likely be killed by the sentinels that protected this forest with their lives. He suddenly stopped then lifted the princess off of his arms so that her feet now touched the ground. He growled at her in his rough tongue. "Don't run. Only cause more trouble for you." He sat down and licked one of his claws that still had some remaining blood on it as he eyed the princess. She was certainly beautiful but he wasn't here to befriend her, he was only here to keep her in this spot until the Alpha showed up.

  • To say she was surprised was an understatement. She wanted to scream but, all that came out was a meek yelp of surprise. She felt strong claws clutch her and without a single second to spare she was in the arms of a wolf who was bounding through the castle with ease. Maybe she would have fought back if she thought she had a chance. "Gabriel!" She screamed as she saw the older knight scrambled after the furred assailant but, it was no use in a matter of second he had already disappeared back into the woods the Princess in tow. She was completely quiet and still now not wanting to move. She was scared one of his claws would tear her to shreds. She just looked around in complete terror as her brown hair trailed behind her. When they finally stop she slowly stood looking around frantically. She expected a whole army of werewolves. She took a slow step back keeping the white wolf in her sites at all times. "Why are you doing this?" Was all she said as she continued to nervously look around hoping to see guards coming through the tress. No rescue appeared. The whites of her eyes shone in the moonlight while she shook like a leaf on the wind.

  • As he tentatively licked his claws he glanced over at the frightened princess. He didn't feel a ounce of sorrow for her, maybe she didn't kill his people but she certainly wasn't innocent, he huffed loudly as he went back to his human form and stretched out his muscles as they popped and groaned as they took shape. "Because I want to, partly from the fact that your father is killing our kind." Anger seethed in his eyes as he rounded on the smaller girl and a feral growl rumbled in his throat. "Your people are evil so we're making a deal with your father. Stop murdering us and we'll set you free, if not, then I'll kill you and your family." He glared down at the princess with hatred glowing in his eyes, he was furious with her people and even her, some citizens know that the murder of innocents wasn't necessary. Now the werepeople and even the vampires are showing what the townsfolk think of them. They have become the beast of horrors that so many see them as, they ruined everything because of their arrogance and now they must pay for it. He growled softly to himself as he began to gather branches and set it into a tepee shape. He gathered kindle and scraped flint on stone to create a spark and light the wood on fire. He breathed on the flickering flame to make it come to life. He sat back then looked over at the Princess. "Stay warm, I'll bring back something to eat." He stood up and disappeared into the woods to find something for both of them to eat.

  • Wincing as she heard the popping cracking with him shifting forms she could only imagine how uncomfortable it was to shift and have your body change so much constantly. She opened her mouth as if she were going to rebuke but, she couldn't. She had seen the werewolf hides and always just went into a different room. Of course she didn't like it but, she wasn't in charge. "I can't say I blame you." She mutter halfheartedly sitting down on the ground caring little for any dirt she got on her dress. It made little matter now. The hatred made her squirm a bit as she sat quietly still glancing around. She was too far from the castle to make it back before he caught up. The guards would probably wait until morning to send out any large search parties and by then she was sure they would be gone. So she was stuck with a hate filled werewolf who seemed perfectly fine with ripping out her throat. Watching him gathering kindling she sighed shaking her head. "He might go back on his word. The deal won't work." She said it so simply even though she was giving up any really chance of getting out of this. Putting her hands out towards the fire she nodded slowly staring into the fire. Her minded worked trying to find possible solutions or escape routes.

  • He looked back at the princess in bewilderment of her words, maybe they were false to make him trust her, after all no one should trust their enemy. With a snort he walked into the dark woods to search for something to kill, preferably a deer.

    ~

It didn't take long for him to back towards the makeshift camp, a small deer yearling hung over his shoulder, he whistled softly to himself as he came into the small clearing where he had built the fire, it still burned but the flames were dimming. He had already dressed the deer so all he had to do now was cook it's flesh. He placed the strips of meat over the burning fire then put more logs in to make the flames burn hotter. A loud sigh escaped his mouth as he looked at the young girl. He quickly looked away and concentrated on cooking the meat that bubbled over the open flame. With another sigh he pulled out a jacket made of deer fur and handed it to the girl. "Here, it's going to get cold soon." He put his attention back to the sizzling deer meat as he hummed another tune of his people's songs. It was about the great hunt where every pack came together to hunt down the hearty bison herds that would feed them for months. Nothing was wasted with the carcasses, everything was used, especially the bones that were used to make their tents. Hides were important for them since they built their tents and clothing with it. Werewolves were the nomadic tribes that followed their prey far and wide but eventually they must settle down to allow their children to grow into strong warriors and hunters. But many traditions had been demolished for the world was changing in front of their snouts.

  • She spent her time while he was gone hunting looking up at the sky trying to find the constellations she had memorized as a child. It was the only things she could do to keep from thinking about the situation she was in. If her father did actually make a deal he wouldn't keep it. He would hold a deep grudge for them coming into the castle and being able to take the heir of the throne with little fight. It was an embarrassment he would not take lying down. He would kill every last lycanthrop he could get his hands on even after she was returned. Their plan was a noble one and it may work but, she didn't see how. When he did finally return she glanced up at him briefly as he brought in a young dear. She watched with some interest as he put the meat over the fire. She pulled her arms over her chest feeling the chill start to come in even with the fire. Her blue eyes looked him up and down for a moment slowly taking the jacket and draping it around her shoulders. Hearing his slight humming she tipped her head to the side as it awkakened old memories from her childhood. "Is that song about a great hunt or something?" She asked tentatively looking at him as she said it. She didn't explain how she vaguely knew the tune instead looking back up at the sky.

  • His humming slowed then came to a complete stop as he glanced over at her, a question forming in his eyes at how she guessed what he was humming though it quickly vanished. "Yes. It's a song for all warriors and hunters who will soon hunt the great bison herds with every pack in existence. It's a time for great peace and harmony for us." He explained quickly to her what it meant then refocused his attention back to the meat, it was almost done. He too looked up at the stars but it was short lived as he pulled a single strip of meat and shoved a clean stripped stick through the cooked flesh. He handed it to the girl then took his own and eagerly bit into it. He hadn't eaten in days so this was cherished greatly as his incisors sank into the flesh with ease. He thanked the gods for allowing him to have this meal then ate quickly so that he could create a tent. The meat was succulent and warmed his belly, it would last him a few more days before he had to feast again. He stood and unrolled the deer hide he had placed within a satchel and began to cut it into smaller strips for ties, he then began to grab sticks and branches to make the tent, they would stay here for the night then continue on in the morning.

  • She listened eagerly nodding when he finished. It was hard to explain why she knew anything at all but, she didn't mind learning more even if she didn't know how long she had left to live. She toke the meat on the stick and looked it over st several different angles. She wasn't being picky about it she was actually trying o figure out how to even attempt to eat it. Sighing when she couldn't find any clear way she just took a small bite. The Princess looked a bit ridiculous trying to eat the meat but, she was managing alright. She took a couple more curious bites before her blue eyes followed him as he started cutting the deer hide into stripes. Setting the meat on a nearby rock she stood up running her hands through her hair. With swift movements she tied her long hair back into a braid so it was somewhat more manageable. She wandered to the edge of the clearing plucking a few low hanging twigs and coming back to settle by the fire. Laying them on the fire the flames licked up the wood quickly. She picked up the stripe of deer taking another curious bite not sure how she felt about it. She wasn't complaining though. "Do you need any help?" She asked ideally looking back up at the stars again. She didn't know why she offered to help. Maybe she wanted to do something beside sitting around.
