Now to out it simply here, Kira has never known her real parents. From nearly at her birth, she has been passed around from orphanage to orphanage, state to state, due to the fact that no one would adopt her for some reason. Perhaps it was the fact she would find ways to hack into any gadget she could find or dismantle them to figure out how they work, or perhaps the fact she was a rather antisocial girl. Whatever it may have been, for the longest time she never had a family. That was, until when she was eleven years old, she was by chance found by a man near aome sort of warehouse, who had caught her hacking into their systems. But oddly enough, the man found interest in the young orphan girl, and took her in under his wing. That man became her "father", or as she calls him "Old Man", Calford Berkmen. And since then, she's lived with the mysterious, smiling man. Though she doesn't attend school outside of her home, she always feels as if someone besides her father is in their home, watching over her like a hawk...

Daniel's past wasn't the well... Most peaceful, one would say. If anything, it was anything BUT peaceful! Born in a little town up in Colorado, he wasn't the best kid around in his family. For a majority of his life, he had been seen as quite a disappointment to his family, not just his parents, but his whole family. Well, minus a cousin or sibling or two. Having a highly religious mother and a over working, self centered dad didn't help the fact that he was indeed, a disappointing freak. Now, unlike a majority of his family who were born mostly normal, or had an occasional abnormality like powers, or some weird supernatural race, or some power like seeing ghosts. Daniel had a rare case where he was born with powers. Specifically fire powers that always ended up getting him in trouble one way or another. For a long time, he had no control over them, often burning things on accident, or lighting a soft or two on fire. He even one time accidentally burned his elementary schools principal on the first day just by shaking his hand!

His parents often would try and find ways to prevent him from burning things or other people, but alas, there was nothing that could prevent it. Slowly but surely, Daniel began to become a pyromaniac, and began to even enjoy setting stuff on fire with his uncontrollable powers. He blew off his parents and even began go go out and do illegal things like busting into abandoned buildings or destroying property with his friends. He even almost burned down an old clock tower in the town without any worries. Though because of his criminal acts, his father began to be at him and abuse him, while his mother tried to constantly bring him to the church and force him to confess what he did was wrong to the point where she even chained him up in a chair. Out of anger, Daniel tried to release his anger, but ended up burning himself and leaving large scars on his forearms. He was a disappointment to his family, and he often tried to avoid then at all costs. Even to the point where he started staying with friends, which was around the point where he figured out that he was homosexual.

After those many years, by a lucky chance, Daniel was given a scholarship to the school, and instantly took it to get away from that little town in Colorado. He hasn't been back since, and now refers to himself as "Nao", which was the middle name his sweet grandmother suggested at his birth. He now currently lives in front frat house with some guys who do to the school.
