A large number of the Clan was capable of passing over to River Clan on their own, most of them had done it when Blood Clan attacked and just kind of stayed there, while a few other feline's ran back and forth to check on her and the kits who had been with her at the time of the attack. Since Thunder Clan had been attacked on Sunning Rocks instead of at camp, she had not needed to flee with her five young kittens and the other's in the new makeshift nursery. However, it was getting ridiculous for cats to run back and forth to check on her and treat her, plus she did not feel her kitten's were actually safe in Thunder Clan's territory so poorly protected due to circumstance. If they had been older? Maybe she would have just lead them across, but her kitten's were not even four moons old yet, they needed help crossing if she was going to come over with the rest of her clan.
She had thought about it for hour's until she was certain neither leader would actually have an issue with it, they were staying with River Clan after all, this only made sense! Right now? They were leaving herself and the kits under protected. "Excuse me, DoeStar?" she still wished she could find ShelteringSky and ask her, or that it would be proper to ask NightGaze, she hated interrupting the River Clan leader during such a dire time, but really she had no other choice, the healer's had currently stated ForestStar needed to rest, that left the River Clan leader pretty much in charge of everyone since Thunder Clan's deputy was no where to be seen. "I want to bring my kits and the other one's in the makeshift Nursery and bring them over to River Clan's nursery if you have no issue's with that? I don't feel like they're safe in the makeshift Nursery in the burned camp, especially with the rest of the Clan here." she explained it softly, having taken care to hide the burned part of her visage until she had the leader's attention. Honestly it was shocking that PumpkinPatch had the energy and means within her to come here to ask this question! ForestStar had seen the Queen's grusome injuries before, but for DoeStar it would be the first time seeing the cat who had sustained third degree burns along her entire left side, been scorched so badly that her left eye had been killed and thus needed removed to prevent infection, leaving an empty socket in red and black burned flesh. Most people would likely prefer she wear cobwebs all the time, she would too, but clearly due to the fire Thunder Clan would not have enough of them for her to do that.
"It shouldn't be too hard, I could get it done with two other cats at least, but I'd feel better with a slightly larger patrol as I don't want to make many trips and there are six kits who need brought over at least and I'd prefer to not have too many cats carrying two kits as five of the six certainly can't swim yet and PuddleKit..." her daughter was blind, entirely unable to see, how was she suppose to swim when she could not see where she was swimming! Puddle wouldn't know which way shore was, it was not a risk she wanted to take. With herself, HeatherHeart and ShadeFeather? They would only need two or three more cats, two if Jagged could manage to swim, three if the male couldn't.
She just wished that there was time to wait for ForestStar to be in shape to arrange this, but she had to step up for now. If herself, the kits and HeatherHeart were caught by their enemies at the makeshift camp? Help would never come swiftly enough to save them.
