  • [ও ] Make's it seem a heaven lost to me

    ( Ai / female / Trad. BC healer )

The scent of the fish like clan filled the small feline's nose. Her small petite form stared into river named clan with a careful glance. Her shimmering ocean like optics studied the land it had been able to claim within it's sight. Her nose twitched as a familiar scent she was looking for. Moonpaw, the son of their deputy. She flicked an ear to the massive female beside her. The other calico was her aunt, Anjang had agreed to follow the smaller feline into the territory and captured the apprentice. The towering feline raised to her paws making her way into the territory gracefully.

Moonpaw was hunting within the river as the bloodclan member made her arrival. Appearing behind the smaller slate blue apprentice, she began to stalk her prey. Despite her large form she was able to sneak up upon him with an unseen amount of skill. Once within the distance she pounced. Quickly she pinned the flailing apprentice under her weight, flicking an ear as she slammed his head into the ground. Watching with a bit of concern as the tom went limp under her paws. As her niece made her way over, Anjang took her steps back putting the tom upon her shoulders. ``Thanks so much Auntie, now let's hurt before others arrive. `` Ai gratefully thanked her kin as she made her way back to the city. The large feline following her with simple steps.

All that was left among the river was the mixture of the tom's scent with the bloodclan females. Tuffs of his fur laid draped across the ground as the wind turned, sending to city scent straight into the camp.

Doestar had seen this before. Here was how it went. Fawncloud's fur is everywhere. Your deputy is gone. There is blood beneath your paws, making every step stick to the grass and the dirt cling to your toes. You can smell BloodClan in the air, flooding your head with every rattling breath that you take. There is nothing you can do but scream, cling to the earth as sobs wrack your body. Rinse and repeat. Fallowpaw this time. Your apprentice has been kidnapped, too. It's like the city cats would like to steal everyone you love. They probably do.

And now, it was happening with her brother. The leader was shaking, lost in a whirlwind of bloodied grass, whirling around every few seconds to be met with a new clump of Moonpaw's silvery-gray pelt, snap her eyes shut and turn around again, hoping that if she closed them enough, she'd wake up from this nightmare and he would be right beside her. She had looked after this boy since kithood, for her father, for her stepmother. And she'd failed them. Maybe not Cougarstar. Maybe this was Cougarstar's doing. The she-cat that had made eye contact with her in the middle of battle and promptly attacked her deputy. She was fighting for BloodClan. Doestar still had trouble believing it. The tabby gasped as another wave of tears hit her, halting in the middle of pacing, staring at her paws. StarClan Bring Him Back Please Please please please PLEASE. Bring him back. Bring him back.
