  • Welp, we can start and muscle any others in. Like, maybe they were elsewhere at the time?

Anyways, I'll post a starter soon unless one of you has something already in mind-

  • //Sorry for the wait! Schools been kicking my butt-

The drive to the town had been long and tiring. The only ting to be seen most of the time was dead trees, desert, and the occasional coyote that came barreling across the road. By the time the van had arrived, the sun was beginning to dip low in the sky, casting long shadows across the sand. Galeon let the van slow to a halt, the sound of rocks and various other things being crushed under the wheels filling his ears, and parked. His steely eyes stared out across the way to the small town's gate. It hung loose on it's hinges, swinging back and forth in the wind. Low creaks emitted from the gate and echoed out across the seemingly empty void around the van. The larger male turned around, his gaze moving to lock on his companions and jerked his head towards the abandoned town with a raised eyebrow. "So-" He trailed off, "This place looks nice. Are ya'll ready?" As he finished he was already getting out of the van and heading towards the back where the equipment was held.

  • // I don't think I'll be able to upload photos, is that okay? Other than that, he's done.

  • Olivia sighed as she pushed open the passenger door, her hazel eyes scanning the run down little town. She proceeded to the back of the van to assist Galeon with the equipment. "I still don't get why I couldn't drive...." She muttered, glaring daggers at the tall boy besides her. The last time they had gone on an adventure she had gotten them pulled over, but managed to wiggle her way out of a ticket, losing nothing more then an hour of time. Since then she hadn't been allowed to drive, or at least someone was always behind the wheel before she could manage to jump into the driver's seat.

Grabbing her backpack, she slung the pale green bag over her shoulder and reached for the large video camera, how her tiny self managed to carry the huge thing was a mystery. "You excited?" She asked, looking up at the green haired guy with a half hearted smile.

  • Krul Byakko

Krul was asleep sure she had watched the town turn into nothing then turn into desert. She didn't really talk a lot as her mind was to busy with the question; 'Why was this girl by herself in the middle of nowhere, inside a ghost town, where she possibly knew she would get murdered or kidnapped?' For the beginning of the trip that was all she had on her mind. Then she had fallen asleep only to be awoken when the engine shut off she groggily looked around before yawning, making her way out of the van she made sure to look in the rear view mirror and made sure her hair was alright as it was in a long loose braid. Finally getting out she squinted her eyes as she stretched arching her back before going to the back of the van getting an extra bag and slinging it over her shoulder.

Yawning once more she looked over to her companions before smiling "should you really be asking such things this is probably the most exciting adventure we have gone" she spoke keeping her answers short as she was still recovering from her sleep she swore she had a weird dream and it left her a little stiff but she couldn't remember it and she was sure the stiffness was from being in one spot for so long. Looking back at them she looked out in front of her studying the town they were about to walk into.

//sorry if it's sloppy school night is killing me with homework.

  • // ManicPixie - It's fine if you don't add pictures! Welcome to the thread! <3

The male huffed, turning away from Olivia and Krul, his head burrowed into the back of the van as he dragged out a large camera similar to Olivia's and a few carefully stuffed bags willed with equipment. The green haired male nodded at Krul's words and inclined his head with a grunt, "I'm just worried we won't find anything..." He muttered, his narrow eyes moving to fix on the town that lay just a few yards away. The town looked pretty old, especially with the houses partially falling in on themselves and having wild plants and vines sprawled across the place like a graffiti artist went crazy. The male shuffled his feet, pulled two of the equipment packs onto his back and moved to manhandle the camera.

Galeon chewed his lip in thought, turning to the two girl's and their conversation, "Well, Olivia's always excited about these things-" He teased turning more towards Krul, "Maybe we should let her run wild in here? You know- To work off the extreme energy and such?" The male jested inclining his head slightly towards the seemingly excited girl and letting his green hair fall off his shoulder.

  • Once again, Olivia glared daggers at Galeon before eagerly jumping at the thought that they might find something, anything, in the tiny abandoned town. Honestly, after a few uneventful trips she had started to grow to believe they'd never find any evidence of the afterlife. It was rather upsetting to the blonde, as she truly believed their were spirits still on the earth, humans just couldn't see them.

"I really am excited though, can you blame me?" She questioned, her hazel eyes lit up light christmas lights. Realizing something, she ran back to the passengers side and retrieved a light, teal toned sweater. She drooped the camera and bag on the seat and slipped it over her head. Picking up her stuff, she walked back to the others, smiling and warm. "Lets go already!" She cheered.

  • Krul Byakko

    || Krul rubbed her eyes getting the sleep out of them and looked back to the others nodding at Galeons words it was true that the last few trips have been unsuccessful and now after a wait they finally got wind of this mystery and got ready to leave at once. Grabbing her phone from her pocket she looked at the time noticing in a bit it would get dark, "We should only stay for a few hours before it becomes to dark to find out way back to the van" she said out loud though it was mostly to herself. Putting her phone back in her pocket she left it there knowin that all the way out here she wouldn't have service.

Looking back to Olivia then to Galeon giving a little smirk "haha, you always come up with the best ideas, I'm all for it, besides I'm curious as to how much her energy level goes...I'd kill to have that energy" she replied. Listening to Olivia she couldn't help but smile and with Olivia's words her child persona came in and forgeting all the sleep that was in her a second ago she put on a innocent grin. "Yeah! Let's go Greenie" she said before beginning to walk to the ghost town. ||

//Forgive me if it seems a little bit weird or off I just woke up.

  • Bailey stood in the shadow of the van, overlooking the vacant ghost of what used to be a town. He narrowed his eyes, clutching the strap of his messenger bag, awaiting the others to get ready for their expedition.

He wasn't necessarily excited about this one mystery, it had an underlying energy to it that made him uneasy. However, he was convinced that it would give him the chance to meet new people and maybe find something cool. Bailey kicked up another patch of sun-baked earth, pursing his lips as he heard the chit-chat of the others inside. He had managed to remember the names of everyone in the party, Galeon was the green-haired one, Olivia was the freckled one, and Krul was the one he had to ask several times about her name.

Bailey watched Olivia call something out to the others, excitement painted on her face. He shielded his eyes from the blaring sun, watching the others gather their things.

'This is good for you,' he thought to himself. 'Making new friends, don't screw this up.'

  • I know that you guys already have four people, but maybe I could add one more?
