  • I HOPE YOU FIND YOUR PEACE

    hennessy / blizzardclan / male [?] / tags & information

*:??? Henny didn't understand the point of meetings. The nice lady stood on a rock and said names and a few other things. He was aware that they were announcements, but for the time being, most didn't bother him. Politics were something he avoided getting into, and other than having his name called in the last gathering, he didn't have much to do other that exhaust an overused hooray.

However, the youth was not selfish or unkind, nor was he about to give up a chance for some valuable knowledge. The announcement for a party seemed like a good idea to get himself checked into the nicer side of clan friendships. Clan- the word still seemed foreign to him. It was as if it was only yesterday that he was with hims mother and no one else. Dwelling on the fact that the night's activities of dreaming had sparked another run-in with his now dead mama, he waited patiently for the others to arrive and for the bulk of the notices to be said.

    "Speech."

  • Fadingmoon

    BlizzardClan Deputy.

    11 months old.
    Current body: Domestic feline.
    Art done by Desmond.
    Played by Frostsoul~

Fadingmoon padded up toward the gathering area, taking a seat by nobody in particular. She let her bi-colored gaze roam up toward Sweets. She spoke of a few things, like a party, that Fading wasn't too keen on joining. But she supposed she might make an effort to go...who knew. The feline patiently waited for the leader to finish the meeting.

  • Wow, shit. He was real fucking late considering the amount of creatures already gathered at the scene. Hurrying along, the three tailed kitsune would seat himself quite promptly next to his brother before scanning the crowd for familiar faces, particularly Andraste. Instead, he found another pale creature, Fadingmoon, if he caught her eye, he would offer her a smile of greeting before turning his attention back to his mother.

This clan had always been massive, and it continued to be so. His thoughts would turn to the good old days briefly, but he'd return to the present. He didn't particularly like thinking about his days of Chase, as he was still suffering from it. With a neutral expression, the dark creature would lumber over, and take a seat by himself. Interaction was such a drag for him to even consider and besides, he only wanted to listen here anyway.

I'm just a victim with the soul torn out of him and shot to the ground, without the glory

  • GOD HAS GIVEN YOU ONE FACE,
    AND YOU MAKE YOURSELF ANOTHER
    ???

Bad news always preceded the first. "Natasha is demoted to the rank of regular member; she can regain her position if she puts in more hard work." Sweetophelia hadn't seen the former Paladin performing her duty for nearly a week now and hoped that the female would return in the near future. "Alexus, Ezekiel, Ska'arq, Rajahcrowns, and Doug - I'd like to see all of you around more often." For some, this wasn't their first activity reminder but if they weren't being demoted now it was because Sweetophelia believed they could make a comeback.

"Huff, Hennessy, you're both new to the clan, but keep it up." Both were fresh to BlizzardClan and rather youthful but they both displayed some degree of potential. "Twinkit, you're young but I'd like to invite you to step up to the rank of Paladin Trainee if that's a responsibility you're willing to take on." In her leadership and during her predecessors, she had seen younger animals step up to a stepping stone rank - even Tama herself had still been a child when she had taken leadership of BlizzardClan.

"I'd like to give shout-outs to Pierce, Fadingmoon, Iselotta, Jacob, Jerseyboy, and Chesspieces. Thanks for the hard work, you six - keep it up." Smiling briefly, she continued. "An additional thanks to all those who participated in the herb training session; I'll be meeting with the Medic team soon to discuss our observations. Imperia, for helping to lead the herb training session with Jacob, I'd like to offer you the Cleric title."

"And finally, it's been a few weeks since Witchcraft was murdered. The time has come to appoint a new deputy. I've been thinking long and hard on this decision and I'd like to offer the position to Beck. You've served the shortest as Paladin Commander but I don't take too much weight on seniority when there are many other valid factors to consider. Your commitment and presence around the clan is something to admire, and your friendliness and inclusion in the IC and OOC communities is just what I'm looking for in a high position. This said, meeting dismissed."

  • A rather long meeting today, yet, Lottie found it was filled with nothing but good things- more or less. Surely there were the activity reminders, but they were ones of good faith- Lottie knew that they could come back into the swing of things without a hitch, and could only smile for once as names were called for promotions and shout outs. She was proud, of course, to hear Imperia earning the Cleric Title- and proud to hear that one so young had been able to help the clan and be offered the position of Paladin Trainee. They were all good things. Lastly, of course, was the deputy. It had been a shame to hear what had happened to WitchCraft. It was no easy thing to swallow, murder, but her attention had been perked as she awaited to hear the name of the new Deputy: Beck. It was of slight surprise to the Head Medic to hear his name called- not, of course, that she didn't think he was capable. She knew he was, but rather, she knew more the prankster side of Beck and, despite knowing that he would do well, she couldn't help but think back to the prank he had pulled recently on Jersey, trying to fight a laugh as she rose her voice up. "Congratulations!"

  • Pierce glanced over to Emmaline as the other serval seated herself beside him, offering her a kind smile before he focused back on Sweet just as she began speaking once more. Of course, she started out with demotions and warnings, things he - and he was sure everyone else - didn't really like very much, but were, of course, necessary and he acknowledged that. Then came shoutouts to some new members and promotions, and more to those who were already high positions - oh, and something to do with the Medics. The golden vice-leader was quite pleased to hear his own name mentioned among those shouted out, though he was even happier to hear Beck being promoted to Deputy. He wasn't friends with the kid - in fact, he often disagreed with him and he had been publically embarrassed by him in the past -, but he was always proud of his clanmates despite whatever opinions he might have of them. "Ah, thanks, Sweet, and congrats everyone - especially to you, Beck!" he called, tail wagging lightly.

*:??? Again, his name was called? He understood the words, yes, but he didn't realize much of it's importance. Twinkit was promoted to being a Paladin Trainee, a rank that Hennessy couldn't yet determine his interest in. Sure, it would be cool to have a higher rank, but that just meant all the same to Henny with playing with his neighboors and greeting the newbies.

As he listened to the list of people whose name was called, he nearly had to hold back a guffaw when Beck's name was called to be a deputy. Wasn't deputy the title that one held as the second-in-hand to the nice lady on the rock? At least, that was what his books about the World Wars said. Imagine the pessimistic Becky being the deputy - it spelled disaster if he was to go to any political scenes. Though, Hennessy guessed the other clans could just accept alliance offers just to get rid of the guy.

The other promotions and shoutouts issued a congratulations in order, though. With a smile albeit the frequently uttered word, Hennessy cheered along with the clan. "Congrats!"

    "Speech."

  • Illya smiled at Pris when she sat next to him and listened quietly, surprised when Beck was made deputy. His ears flattened slightly at the name, as he didn't really have a good... Experience with the boy. Grunting though, he forced himself to say a quick: "Congratulations."

  • Promotions, demotions, shoutouts, mostly good things. Jerseyboy agreed with pretty much all of them. Damn, the amount of high positions was constantly increasing. How could Sweetophelia even keep track of them all? If he even began to do so, he'd probably get a fucking headache.

Ah, now for the moment of truth: deputy. He knew that one of the paladin commanders would have to step up eventually, and his money was on Aleksei. Besides the fact that he was Sweet's own damn son, he didn't sit on his ass all day like him. He handled things pretty well, despite the fact that the kid had a temper. Jerseyboy watched the lioness as she made her decision, and it looked like he had lost his own bet. Beck? The tuxedo tom hung his head slightly and pressed a paw onto his temple. You've gotta' be fuckin' kidding me. That little shitstain was his superior now? Jerseyboy felt irritation bubble up inside of him. Being deputy took a lot of responsibility, and he could see that, but there was no telling if Beck would actually take his new position seriously. He pranked people, insulted people, and was just a goddamn nuisance. At least Aleksei had a higher level of maturity than Beck, whereas with Beck as his superior, he'd probably order him to do the stupidest shit- which he wouldn't. Being a higher rank didn't make him better than anyone else, and it certainly didn't budge his already negative opinion on him. After that prank that Beck had pulled on him, Jerseyboy certainly didn't trust the boy. Well, at least it wasn't him. Jerseyboy would've failed miserably at taking on a big responsibility, and he probably would've had to do more than he already did. He was often neglectful when it came to politics and all that, so the new job probably would've frustrated him. Yeesh. He was fine where he was.

The tuxedo tom offered no words. Anyone could've probably guessed how he felt; happy for the others and immensely hesitant about the latter. There was no need to voice his opinions; he didn't need to.

  • the male would look up, surprise etched on his face as he played with his paws. he got.. promoted? oh! "uh- uhm.. t-thank you!!"

  • BETSY HARBRINGER LYNDERLY

Betsy approached, flicking her large ears curiously. A meeting? It had been a long time since

she had seen to one or two in Shadowclan, but those were different. Sango usually spit out everything

that she needed to say right at the beginning. Egh. The thought of Sango almost made Betsy throw up.

The girl sat near the edge, listening intently.

  • Woooah. This was so cool and interesting! Huff was thrilled to have their name mentioned and keeping up their work would be easy. Through Huff was not sure what they were doing right. "Gratulaions!"

  • Fadingmoon

    BlizzardClan Deputy.

    11 months old.
    Current body: Domestic feline.
    Art done by Desmond.
    Played by Frostsoul~

Fadingmoon resisted the urge to sigh at the promotion of Beck. Now she was working directly with the male...great. She didn't really mind him, but she found him to be incredibly immature. But hey, she could handle it. "Congratulations."

  • He had received an activity reminder - which was expected, really - but he wasn't one to sit around and do nothing about it. The tiger took mental note of this reminder, knowing that he ought to make sure to be up and around more often. High positions that didn't do anything seemed useless, after all. "Understood, and congratulations to those promoted." Though he wasn't too ecstatic over Beck being a deputy now, as the memories of falling into his pit trap still haunted him.

  • /retro to death

Beck was just as shocked as the rest of them. Was more responsibility supposed to be a good thing? Why were people holding back giggles and sighs? Was he that bad? What terrible timing, as well, he was supposed to die soon. Well, at least he had the confidence that these backstabbers believed in and supported him. The boy only responded with a startled blink and a worried nod, casting a glance back to those who were probably regretting Sweet's decision. Well, maybe they'd have a new deputy before the week was up. Or maybe, they would just grumble and learn to cope with the most immature feline of the clan being one step closer to leading them all. That was a terrifying thought. Beck didn't think he would be able to handle anything even remotely more than this. Time will tell, he supposed.
