frisk's hogwarts house is hufflepuff, and their ilvermony house is pukwedgie. they appreciate loyalty, dedication, patience, and choose to act from the heart. their patronus is a siberian cat. their wand is rowan wood with a unicorn hair core, 10 ½ inches, with reasonably supple flexibility.

— frisk is currently visiting with an npc therapist, and its an npc because past therapists have went inactive / dropped the plot / etc, and these visits are supposed to further their recovery arc. plus its easier to do it this way lmao. on that note most threads involving make involving the therapist will revolve around the therapist's pov, rather than frisk's. most likely they'll be one shots, and they won't be open to replies or anything whoops. just something to look at and get into the kids head, i guess.

— one of their adopted fathers turns out to be their own boogeyman / sandman (funhaus, penned by deer bby <3), and any nightmares they get is from him. they are not aware of this.

— fires, loud noises, water, and unexpected contact are all prominent triggers for frisk. they punt them down memory lane, which results in them in a very angry, scared, and grieving state. they're not good in situations revolving around storms or wild fires due to not being able to keep a level head.

— has killed before and will kill again if the situation calls for it.

— on the note above, frisk has only killed two people; darkstalker and the queen of the underground. specifically, they ripped out their throats.

— terrified of sango and shadowclan in general. after the aforementioned leader and her old deputy, finch, burned down their home to a crisp, they've found that both of their motherly figures haunt their dreams, though sango is much more prominent due to believing that the shadowclan leader will either A) disown them and attack them like she had done with their cousin / her daughter, mercy B) kill them over and over again, like she had finch, until they stay dead or C) eat them, like she had finch's child. they dont mind dying, but they just dont want to die at the hands of sango because they know it'd completely and totally fuck them up, as they still care about her but believes she no longer cares for them.

when in a healthy state of mind, frisk's personality is akin to shower thoughts; soothing, pondering, underlying patience and intensity, spacey and idealistic, with sudden bursts of intuition in between. they're your stereotypical daydreamer, lost in their thoughts constantly, but quick to push them aside when it's time to get serious. they can be likened to an introverted socialite; nice and airy with the general community, but eccentric and confiding with close friends. they fail to show any semblance of care towards others thoughts regarding them, satisfied with their own choices namely because much thought is put into them. this doesn't mean they don't look to friends for guidance, however: they take criticism without fault, and keep it in mind should a similar situation arise.

okay so im slowly very slowly moving frisk away from their undertale/horrortale roots in favor of them standing out and becoming more of their own character, which they already have in my opinion. i've been thinking on it for a long time honestly, and i know frisk doesnt favor their name nor their appearance anymore since so much grief is attached to them both, so i've been going over possible names they could have. i decided against a traditional name since that usually implies age lol, so i've done some searching and so far i'm stuck on these three:

hiraeth — (n) a homesickness for a home you can't return to, or that never was.

nepenthe — (n) something that can make you forget grief or suffering.

rasasvada — (n) the taste of bliss in the absence of thoughts.

im not sure when they're going to change their name because i want a reason behind it. i dont want it to be spur of the moment or anything like all the other times, and i'm still plotting it out but i think it'll be near the end of their development / recovery when they're going into a more happier and peaceful state of mind (on that note, i'll probably go with nepenthe or rasasvada since they fit pretty well, and hiraeth kind of demolishes their upcoming development).

edit; they'll probably hear the word somewhere, actually?? the first word they read on paper, possibly? or maybe the person who teaches them how to read tells them about it? and after their development the word comes to mind and they just accept it as their name ig.

^ okay so i've decided on nepenthe ( "pen, penny, nene, ect" ) & fathertime will be the one to teach them to read bc he's technically still in the sanctuary lmao

THE UNDERGROUND was a term coined by most who dwelled in that dank cave system, nepenthe included. dark with little to no light, cramped even for their size, and oh so cold it was a challenge to all. the child isnt even sure how they came to be there, honestly; life prior to it is but a blur, any memories they attempt to pull from their mind faulty. one thing for certain though, was that penny did not like it. who would? it wasnt exactly a very hospitable place, especially to children put on the chopping block like nep themself, waiting to be slaughtered like cattle. a gruesome dynasty overlooked it all, both a queen and a tyrant that ruled with an iron fist in this literal dog-eat-dog world she had set in place and poor little pen was caught in its midst. it was a struggle to just get by, narrowly avoiding those who would certainly waste no time to make a meal out of them, nor think twice about doing so. it was a trial and error predicament, but in the end nepenthe managed to escape with the aid of their friend chara and make their way to safety. however, the events leading up to their freedom still haunt the kitten's thoughts now and again.
