OOC: Zephyraisis , well alright, then I'll try it. Seeing as it's the only thing I know about even a little bit, can Hip Hop/break or freeform be one of the dance class categories? Also I call people pet names all the time(
regardless of gender I've called people babe/bae, hun, sweetie, etc from friends to total strangers. i think they just like hearing someone do that. A lady called me "love" once w/ an Aussie accent and I darn near lost my mind I loved it so much) -
I think I'm gonna pass on this thread, I don't know enough about dance to feel motivated for it, sorry guys

Also, I have no care to the pet names, I'm flexible, any student you wish to partner with you think may be a good match?

Le t me give a small class meaning: Pointe shoes are a type of dance shoe that all principle (top rank in ballet world) dancers and soloists have... they are made of oftentimes paper mache or wood covered box covered in satin with drawn strings. You fit them in a perfect fit as dancers say. The tips of your toes happen to touch the very edge of the inside shoe at the end of the box, the heel of the shoe must be snug against your own heel, but not cut off circulation. The sizes of these shoes runs 2- 2 1/2 sizes smaller than your (or your characters) shoe size, the width of your foot is the amount of X's. 5X stands for very wide box and long vamp. The lower the X the narrower the shoe vamp and box is. The X's are 1-5 X only.

Having a Freeform or HipHop category? Those are the only dance styles I have any knowledge about whatsoever

I have to admit, I'm still on the fence about committing, I was a bit confused by the en pointe size, but if this helps, my biggest reason for not jumping on board was that their isn't a plot to follow, I hope I don't sound too critical, but I would be more interested if their was more of a planned story arc than hoping to get chosen for the performance. I don't know, I'm bad at coming up with my own drama for stuff like this. Just something to think about. For now I'm tracking, I take back my initial rejection of your thread. It's a good idea I just think it needs more initial development.
