    Kay smiled and said in and relieved tone, "Oh they didn't kill anything." She gestured to the camera she was holding, "They just took some nice pictures of the wildlife that live around here." Kay looked at the girl for a moment and asked gently, "Do you know what a camera is?" She wondered how developed these people were. If they shared the same or at least some of the technology Kay's people possessed. By the looks of things, Kay would have said no, but she didn't want to jump to conclusions. The fact that people still lived on Earth at all was an amazement.

    (Don't worry about it! I don't have internet at home and it's hard to get on during school, so my responses will be pretty slow.)

    She tilted her head slightly and smiled, "I know what a picture is, so I can make a guess. We know there was a lot of technology that was lost after the war and what we can find, we're supposed avoid." Most people believed that in avoiding any left over tech, they could avoid starting what was left of the human race back down the path of war. They didn't need it, anyways, the village was self sustaining.
