    Mariposa had gotten everything ready for her movie night with her girlfriend. Snacks were in the living room and the movie was ready to play. She heard the doorbell and smiled running towards the door. Once she opened it and smiled seeing her girlfriend standing there. "Hey baby" she smiled hugging her

    "Hi, sweetie!" Lana grinned with her blue eyes shining, hugging her back. She made sure that she looked good for tonight. She combed her neck-length black hair thoroughly, making sure that it was the opposite of what she was: straight. She was also sure to wear the neatest clothes she had in store. Date nights with her girlfriend were always so entertaining for her.

    Mariposa smiled and hugged her before bringing her inside the house. "You look so good tonight" she complimented. She herself was dressed in a nice dress and had curled her already curly hair to make it look better. She kissed her cheek before leading her to the living room. "So Lany you ready for movie night?"

    Lana smiled as she followed Mariposa. "Ready as always!" she said eagerly. "What movie are we watchin' tonight?" she asked. Lana usually liked movies with humor and adventure in them, but otherwise she wasn't too picky as long as the movie was entertaining and well-written.

    "You remember that adventure movie about the female arcologist who falls for her native guide that they kept playing trailers for?" Mariposa asked. She knew Lana had wanted to see it for so long. She led her to the couch and snuggle up to her

    "Ooh, yeah!" Lana said as she joined Mariposa on the couch. Her blue eyes were shining eagerly. "That always seemed like such an exciting and interesting movie. I'm glad that you picked it out tonight!"

    "I'm sure you're going to love it. You are the one that begged for us to see it in theaters on opening night" Mariposa reminded kissing her nose before starting the movie

    Lana laughed lightly. She snuggled up a little closer to Mariposa. "Thank you," she said to her. She watched the movie when it started, absolutely fixated on the screen.

    Lana leaned in against Mariposa, enjoying the kiss. This is so sweet... she thought. Of course, every moment she spent with her girlfriend ended up being sweet in some way. And there didn't seem to be any kind of danger at the moment, so Lana didn't need to turn into Deluge quite yet. Right now, she could just enjoy her night with Mariposa.

    Mariposa kissed him back and held her closer to her. They have been missing a part of movie, but she didn't care. She loved being with her girlfriend and being away from her plans. She was planning something to take over the city as her alter ego Pyro, but for now she wanted to ignore that. She pulled away for air and smiled at Lana. "Should I rewind?"

    Lana chuckled. "Sure thing!" she said. They came to watch this movie, so they might as well watch the whole thing, even if Lana did enjoy that kiss a lot.
