Ahi walks onto the festival grounds. He had been praying to the goddess of love almost daily for a while now, hoping that she would help him get love. It didn't seem to be working yet, but he still believed it would work some day, and now that there was a festival dedicated to the goddess. Who knows what could have happened.

Anera had heard his prayers and decided to answer them that day. All around the city lovers had gathered, but she spotted the praying man easily. She neared him. "Rise Ahi, I have come to answer your request"

Ahi turns to the goddess, at first confused on what the voice was but after he caught a glimpse at her, he looked amazed. She was here. In the midst of his amazement he bows towards her in respect to the goddess.

Anera smiled and lifted his chin up to have him look at her. "I'm aware that you haven't found your love and that is why I'm here. I've been watching you and I've started to fall for you myself"

He nods at the first statement, but his eyes widen abit at the last statement. She couldn't mean... could she? "Y-You do?" He was so overwhelmed with confusion that he didn't know what to do.

"I do, you are quite the interesting mortal" Anera admitted bending down to kiss his forehead to mark him as her own

He blushes at the kiss and the complement, still being very confused and trying to take all of this in. This was all crashing down on him like a waterfall

Anera noticed his confusion and went to explain. "I'm going to make a deal with you. I will be your lover, but you need to show me how to act mortal because it's only here that I can be with you"

He nods slowly, his confusion slowly subsiding. He was still very confused though. He nods at her offer though. "Sure. Just, can we head over to a field or something to talk tomorrow? Or could we do it back at the shrine?"

Anera smirked and reached over to grab his hand. "Eager are we?" she teased. She started walking with him out of the festival. "A field sounds lovely. I know one that's just close by"

He follows her, himself having abit less choice anyway. "Just im afraid if we talk here we might get cut off by other festival-goers noticing you and wanting to talk and stuff." He shrugs.

"I understand, that's why we're going to a field and not the shrine. If anything, that'll be the place where I get asked the most questions" she explained as they walked in

He shrugs again. "Ok. Fair point." He looks around at the field just to take it all in.
