She could remember little about her journey here. The only memories that she could seem to uncover were fuzzy, and they scampered around in the shadowy corners of her mind.

Triumph. Touching the river. Washing away in the current.

That would certainly explain why she was there, her bright pelt sodden, shivers passing through her body. Her sapphire eyes were glazed with a thin gray sheen, and she felt weakness surge through her with every cold step. She was young - a kit, only a few months old.

"Hello?" she murmured, lacking the strength to yell. Water took all of her energy - she needed to get warm and dry. Fast. "Hello? Is anyone here?"

this is the end of all hope

Lucky for her, Sephy was there. He was always there, watching the boarders. The female would be greeted with a soft grunt as he walked towards her. "Hello. Are you okay?" The cub would ask as he moved closer.

  • Blazestar used to be a medicine cat so she knew all too well the dangers the cold and wet combination brought to the table- especially in the young, sick, and elderly. Due to this soaking the kit's scent wouldn't be prominent and missed by the ginger feline, only knowing that someone was there when she heard Sephy speak to the kit. That was an odd question to ask a stranger on a normal occasion, so something had to be visibly wrong, but not wrong enough to cause him to scream for a medic. Blaze went over, a small smile on her face until she saw the wet, shivering kit. Sparkkit was hard to miss once she was in eyeshot, shivering and bright colors were not the best combination for camoflauge in a forest. The Warrior Code said to help all kits even if they weren't from your clan, which honestly Blaze would do even without the code to tell her to do such a thing. Quickening her pace she approached the kit, saying "Im Blazestar, and this is Sephiroth. You seem cold, if you want to come with us we'll help you get warm and stay warm. You can tell us about yourself along the way. Does that sound good?"

A small smile formed on the kitten's maw as Blazestar spoke, and she found herself running towards the leader. She pushed her small body against the leader's front legs, attempting to feel cozy or warm. "Okay!" she offered in response their statement, and she began to blabber - a stream of easy, cheerful words. "I'm Sparkkit! And I have electric stuff that fizzes, like salmon-y fish! But water kills it and so water took me here! Bad water. Bad. Oh, have you ever seen a goldfish? They're super cute 'cause they go glub glub glub but when I go glub glub glub my face goes like this. See how it's all poofy and stuff? But goldfishes have worser memories than me so I'm better, okay? Plus I have white toes! Want me to wiggle them? They're kinda muddy now but they're actually white underneath! You gotta believe me! Also, where are we going?"

The male would trot along with the duo and offer a soft chuckle. "We are going back to the nursery, i am sure. It is nice and warm there. We can get you food and clean you up. Dry you off and what not." He didn't usually talk this much, but here he was. Trying to help a younger child out.
