"I would hope not." Zuko replied, stepping inside. "And no, she's not harmed but she is very nauseous so we're here in hopes to know the exact cause." He added, noticing the wary look coming from the smaller man. It's not unusual for people to assume that Zuko did something to harm another simply because of his scars.

Doc still wasn't quite sure, but he didn't say anything to it. He gestured for him to lay her down on a nearby bed. "Nauseous aye?" He echoed. He looked her over. No injury. At least that part was true. "Nauseous how?" He then asked. He then slipped on some gloves to cover his hands, if need be.

Zuko gently set Neo on the bed and smoothed out her hair. "The past couple of days she's been getting pretty sick. It got pretty bad this morning. We considered the fact the food might've gone bad but considering that I'm feeling fine and I had the same thing she had. Well.... there is one other option that led us to ask you to see if it might be it." Hopefully the doctor picked up what Zuko was hinting at, pregnancy.."

The doc listened intently, and seemed to catch the hint. "Ah, I see.... Hmmm... Well, seeing how she's at a tired state right now, why don't you leave her in here with me? When she wakes I can test her and see if she's pregnant. Don't worry, I won't hurt the girl." He winked up at Zuko, starting to trust the man more, but he still wanted to keep an eye on the girl.... just in case... When she wakes I'll question her... He seemed to wait for the man's response...

“Is it alright if I stay near her?” He asked softly. It was clear that he wasn’t comfortable leaving his beloved alone for any reason. But it wasn’t that he didn’t trust this doctor to take care of her, he hasn’t been given any reason to thus far. “But when you do the testing, I can step out of the room then...”

The doc though over it... "Hmmm... yes... you can stay. Find me and let me know when she wakes up. I'll go check on my other patients..." Doc reluctantly left Zuko alone with the woman... He had got to admit, they were both otherworldly beautiful... he wondered where they came from...
About 10 or so minutes after the doc left, Neo's dreary eyes opened and the first thing she saw was an unfamiliar ceiling... then an unfamiliar wall... then finally something she knew: Zuko. "Where am I...?" She had a feeling that she should know where, but she couldn't find it in her seemingly empty mind. But almost as soon as she asked she found it... sitting in the corner of her brain... But she wanted to hear Zuko's voice so she stayed quiet and patient.

Zuko planted a soft kiss on her forehead. “We’re at the doctor’s office. He hasn’t done the testing yet but now that you’re awake, I’ll call for him.” He murmured softly, offering her a gentle and loving smile. Then he turned his head to call for the small man. “Hey doc! She’s awake!”

Hearing the call he strolled in. Seeing the women awake relieved him, though he didn't know why. He came over to the girl and gave Zuko a quick sideways glance before he started questioning her on what happened.
Soon, the memories rushed in. She sat up and leaned against Zuko as she explained everything. It was the exact same way Zuko did.
This made Doc trust and respect Zuko more and he felt more open to him and the situation now. "I believe there is a high possibility that Neo could be pregnant." He directed at Zuko, since he was the man of the house and the one that brought her in. "I'll need a quick urine sample and then I'll get back to with the results." He smiled at the couple and then motioned for Neo to follow...
She did and yeah...

While it wasn’t yet completely confirmed, the fact that the doctor did confirm the possibility of a baby. And that’s all he needed to make him excited. Now he hopes that it really is the case so he and Neo can prepare for the incoming baby earlier rather than later.

Soon the Doc returned, with a very happy looking Neo. Before the Doc could say anything, Neo rushed over and kissed Zuko.
The doc smiled, "She tests possitive." He winked, "Go, enjoy the good news... you have no need of me anymore, don't let me hold you back..."

The panther grins as he immediately picked her up bridal style while she kissed him. “Let’s go home Neo. We have some planning and preparing to do.” He whispered, nuzzling her as he began to carry her home.

Neo wrapped her arms around Zuko and rested her head on his chest as he carried her home. Peopled stared at these new, beautiful, weird people... but Neo didn't care. Finally she can live a life... She relaxed as their hearts matched in beat and everything seemed perfect... until the call. Snap, instant alert. There was a monster call somewhere off in a mountain village. It was hard for Neo to resist the urge to just struggle free and run home. Just ignore it... just ignore it... you're pregnant, you can't fight... She decided to deal with it later and hoped that everything would stay calm until then. She focussed on Zuko, and nothing but him, the whole rest of the way home...

After spending as much time with his beloved Neo as Zuko did, he learned to pick up the subtle body language associated with her calls. For now, he held off on questioning it until they can get home safely. Once they got to the safety of their home, the panther sat down on their bed and held his beloved to his chest. “You got a call...?”

She peered over at him, surprised, How'd he know? She then frowned, "Yes, yes I did. I didn't want to ruin anything, but my people need me, and this seems like a big one... I'm afraid that eventually I'll have to go." She didn't dare mention herself being pregnant, as she was trying not to think about fighting a beast while pregnant and possibly losing the baby... "I can try and put it off, for now I guess... unless... idk..." She stopped herself. She knew she had to go... As she was saying this she was staring at the ground...

“If you think it’s a good idea, I can come with you to take care of the beast. I know this call will drive you mad if you don’t do something.” He sighs, resting his chin on the top of her head. “But ultimately, you need to make the decision, I can’t force you to stay here during your pregnancy when you know you’re still in the state that you can help. If you do decide that you have to go, promise me that you won’t do anything reckless...”

She looked over at him thoughtfully, "Yes, your help would be great. Thank you... for understanding..." She smiled hugged/kissed him. "I promise not to do anything too reckless." She winked as she headed towards the equipment room to prepare, motioning for Zuko to follow. There wasn't as much in this cabin, but still alot, and more than enough to take down a beast...

“You better not.” He murmured, a small smile gracing his lips as he followed her to the equipment room. He didn’t like her getting into trouble but he figured it was the better option to help her now rather than risk8ng her sneaking off later to take care of the target.

"You might need these..." Neo smiled a knowing smile and tossed Zuko a pair of leather gloves. She then found her fire-proof cloak and thankfully found one for Zuko also. Thank god I kept these in here... She tossed that at him also. While still rummaging around, gathering some guns, ammo, two silver swords, and her gold bow, she asked, "Hey, uh... this beast is kinda...advanced. Do you feel comfortable in armor?" She was getting hers on right that moment. For some reason she knew this day of having a male to fight with would come: she had male armor also.

“If it’s thick leather armor, I should be fine. I just need to be able to have the freedom to shift if needed.” He replied, pulling on the gloves and then placed the cloak onto his shoulders.

"Hmmm... ok..." Neo, herself, was wearing some sort of thick, metally armor. She walked over to a different room and push the door open... There was a large array of armor inside. They were displayed as if someone was actually wearing them, following along the walls. "Choose one." She smiled. Half were female and half were male. Since she had no life other than her work before, all the money she won went towards it. Vast quantities and variety was the result...
