Current Plot:

-Currently the Clan is recovering from a very wet spring, that has caused the waters of the lake to rise and parts of the territory to go under water and flood out, leaving only the northern part of the territory viable for hunting.

-Altercation will occur when Spirit and Rain are found and taken into the camp, forcing Cresentfern to join the Clan as an Apprentice

Potential Plots:

-Applecreek might receive a prophecy about what is to come.

-Harepelt might die, causing Thawspark to become evil or vice versa

-Cherryheart may reunite with her Loner Father, Jay, but undecided if will happen

so for the plot (rough outline):

Redstar has been having dreams, she knows they are bad, and she knows they mean danger is lurking. The most recent one having a lot of blood, which causes the normally confident leader to be shaken. (I'm horrible with prophecies so I am not even going to try and write one) but Applecreek gets a Prophecy in a dream that someone is turning against StarClan. That they are angry and turning evil. Redstar, Applecreek, Yellowpaw, and Cherryheart are the only ones to in IC to know of the prophecy. But the four are becoming worried as more and more things start to go awry. The already scarce prey becomes scarcer as they find prey poisoned, killed, or shredded on the territory. At first they think a loner or a rogue. But when an Apprentice (or warrior probably an NPC unless someone wants a martyr) shows up dead on the territory, panic rises in the clan.

I'm thinking the original Bad Kitteh would be Eaglewing (almost like an ultimate betrayal for Redstar), unless someone wants to have an evil cat and wants to make our enemy. .... but it still needs work, so feel free to add/take away from this idea.

Where would Crescentfern, Spirit, and Rain fit into this? I mean, looking back at Thawspark's reaction maybe the so call haunted sounds coming from the territory could be a feeling of unease till the trio i s recovered?

I'm thinking that upon finding the trio, Redstar is hesitant to allow them even to join, as she isn't sure what the trigger is that causes the bloodshed. However, they believe it is one of the trio causing the problems of the prey being poisoned, killed, and mauled and left on the territory. I was kind of hoping that one of them could be the 'scapegoat' for our evil dooer and the clan to pin the problems on. Or we could have them believe it is a diferent loner entirely, and Spirit or Rain is kind of the one that thinks something is a little fishy about it being a loner and able to cover the tracks.

Hello all!

As for plots, I currently have one for Marefire. My idea for him is that he's hunting with a few cats before going off on his own, and he bumps into an old flame. Long story short, she brought their kits- that he never knew about -to the forest to join his clan because the two-legs stole her daughter's leg. Unknown to them, the kit had a cyst that needed to be removed, so she went in for surgery to have it and her leg- which was completely dead -removed. The queen herself won't join because she doesn't want to live as a warrior, but perhaps there could be a bit of drama with Marefire bringing in half-clan kits to join lol

And I was going to have the queen, aptly named Queenie, be a side character of mine that's just mentioned in passing, but what if she's killed by this evil cat while she was traveling to visit the clan? Might be interesting for Marefire to deal with that ^^

Of all the things he expected to do today, bumping into Queenie in the middle of clan territory never even made the list in Marefire's mind. Sending fervent and not so silent prayers to StarClan that Hawthornfang had taken Jaypaw to hunt on their own, the spotted warrior pushed through the forest undergrowth to quickly approach the she-cat.

Instantly those dark blue eyes that still made his head swim snapped to him, and the relief that filled them did nothing to quiet his worry. "Oh, Marefire! I've been looking everywhere for you!" She said, trilling softly and rushing towards him, burying her nose in the short fur of the warrior's neck. He coughed awkwardly, giving her ear a quick lick that was so badly aimed, he practically just licked air.

"Queenie! It's, uh...good to see you!" He said, ears swiveling back to listen rather frantically, hoping no one was coming up behind them. The last thing he needed was his clanmates to find him with the kittypet she-cat he'd shared almost the entirety of his apprenticeship and the first few moons as a warrior with.

She lifted her head and gazed up at him, heedless of his fear. The dark, clear depths of her eyes were filled with a mixture of relief, fear, exhaustion, and desperation, and Marefire felt the fur on the back of his neck rise. Queenie had always been a clear-headed, if easily excitable cat. The few times he'd tried to show her how to hunt, she'd ended up catching a mouse and then spent the next hour crying against his chest for 'taking the poor scrap's light away'. She'd never ventured very far into the forest again after that, no matter how much he'd tried to convince her to. What could have happened to make his old flame come this far into the woods?

A small voice answered him, and it did several things at once. First and foremost, it almost made him jump out of his skin. Secondly, it very nearly made his fur turn pure white then and there. And third of all, though he didn't know it yet...that tiny voice changed his life forever.

"Momma?"

Marefire looked behind Queenie in astonishment as a small kit peered out of a low-hanging sage bush, the kit's clear green eyes the exact same shade as his own. Queenie turned around and hurried over to the kit, licking his face in an anxious, yet loving manner. "I...we..." Marefire started, staring at the tiny black and white kit. His legs shook as a second kit joined the first, this one a pale ginger and white tom with lighter green eyes tinged with brown so that they almost looked grey. He had to sit down as a third popped out, the cream point she-cat's eyes only a few shades lighter than her mother's. But if was the forth kit that almost made his heart stop.

Her fur was that perfect mix between blue and grey that looked like pure silver. One of her eyes was a beautiful clear green the color of sunlit grass, and the other was a frosty shade of blue Marefire had only ever seen a few times. It was the same blue as his mother's eyes. But even the clarity of her eyes couldn't distract him from what had undoubtedly brought Queenie out here in the first place.

The blue kit's fur across her right shoulder and down her side was short, barely long enough to cover her skin. A long scar cut it's way over the stump where her leg should have been and trailed down her side, and his heart sank into his paws when he saw how red it was. For the first time he noticed how tight her eyes were, and he could see just how much pain she was in. An instant, burning, boiling rage hit him in the chest like a badger's blow, and it almost made him stagger with how strong it was.

Queenie looked up at him after carefully licking the kit's ears, her eyes reflecting his anger. "The two-legs I live with did it. Her leg couldn't move when she was born, but she could get around just fine! They took her away, and when they finally brought her back, her leg was just gone! I got them all out of there as soon as she could move again. Who knows what they would have done to the rest of them!" Her voice grew in volume until it was high and panicked. Marefire pushed himself forward and touched his nose to her shaking muzzle, hushing her quietly.

She pressed against him as she bent again, giving each kit a quick lick. They shied away from the warrior, pressing closer to their mother as he looked down at them. He blinked slowly back at the four little bundles, trying to calm them down. Queenie lifted her head again, and that desperation was back.

"You know I can't live out here, Marefire, but...but I'm not taking them back to that house! Please, take them with you to your clan, train them to be warriors!" When Marefire only looked at her in shock, his mouth flapping open like a fish, she gave a tired, almost sheepish smile. "I just know they won't be as bad a hunter as I am. They won't disappoint you, I promise!"

Marefire turned back to the kits, Queenie shifting beside him as he met their eyes. Mostly, he looked at the little blue she-cat, her pained eyes looking up at him with no small amount of fear. But it wasn't fear of him that he saw. It was fear of her past, of tow-legs, of the horrors she'd been through before coming to this forest. And under the pain and the fear, he saw the tiniest glimmer of hope. Something clicked in him, and he didn't remember opening his mouth, but he was talking anyway.

"Of course I'll take them, Queenie," he said, voice hoarse with thick emotion. The aptly named queen trilled in delight and covered his face in licks, purring so loud he idly wondered if it hurt her chest. "Oh, thank you!" She said, eyes glowing with happiness and pride, and a little sorrow. She bent and nuzzled each kit, smiling ear to ear even with tears glistening in her eyes.

"What's happening, Momma?" Queenie purred and licked the little black and white kit's nose, making him scrunch up his face and shake his head. "You're going to be warriors, my loves," the queen answered, and the smaller white and cream she-cat spoke up. "Like the cats in the stories?" Her voice was lit up with excitement, and it seemed to catch because all the kits looked up hopefully. Even the black and white tom looked less apprehensive than he had before.

"Yes!" Queenie answered. "Just like the cats in the stories! And just like your father," she said, looking over at Marefire. All eyes turned to him, and he tried very hard to look the way a warrior should; noble, distinguished, and proud. He was pretty sure he just looked like a scared rabbit that had messed itself, but the kits eyes glowed in anticipation and awe.

"Are you gonna be a warrior too, Momma?" Queenie blinked back at the little tom, purring as she shook her head. "Oh, I wouldn't be a good warrior. I'm much better off in my garden. But I promise I'll come visit you! I swear it." The black and white kit looked slight crestfallen, but he still nodded. Marefire admired his quick acceptance despite clearly not wanting his mother to leave. Queenie lifted her head and turned to look at the warrior again, eyes suddenly holding a fierceness he'd never seen in her before.

"You take care of our kits, Marefire. Make them warriors so that they never get hurt again," she said, and the strength of her words would have been enough to start a fire. He bowed his head almost to her paws, ears laying flat. "I swear with every bit of warrior blood in me that I will take care of them, Queenie," he said quietly, and he felt a shaking tongue swipe over his ear. "Good," she whispered, and he lifted his head just enough to carefully fasten his teeth in the little blue kit's scruff, lifting her off the ground. Her paws tucked in against her chest, and she only gave a soft squeak of protest before quieting.

Marefire blinked slowly at the pale queen as he took a step back and, after a few nudges, the other three kits slowly tottered after him. Queenie was crying silently, but a fierce pride glowed past the grief in her eyes as she watched them disappear into the forest. As Marefire carried his daughter towards the camp with his other daughter and two sons following him, he expected fear to fill him with every step. But instead came excitement, anticipation. And he realized that he wanted nothing more than for his kits to become warriors in his clan.
