  • Soft green eyes opened as a young calico she-cat awoke. Her body was curled around two smaller ones protectively. The 12 moon old she-cat had been in a clan but as her mother died and her father became not so great to be around, the calico was forced to move. Crescentfern also was protective, as she was the elder sister to the two small ones beside her and she smiled lightly at the two small bodies before she stretched and stood up, creeping to the end of the den and staring out "All clear; Spirit, Rain, time to get up." the she mewed softly.

Soft, gentle blue eyes opened as Spirit awoke before her younger sister. The other calico with more whit eon her that her eldest sibling, stood up and gently nudged Rain awake. Spirit was the wild sibling out of all of the trio, but loved being able to protect Rain, and even attempt to protect Crescent at times. Crescentfern was like their mother, and at all times did both kits look up to her with awe and hope.

Rain awoke quickly, jolting upright. Her smokey grey and black body a sharp contrast against the mottled calicos of her sisters. The kit bounded up to Crescentfern, rubbing against her legs and purring softly "What's for prey today? Huh? huh?" the eager kit bounced around her sister happily. The stunning eyes ablaze. She had a rare deformity known as heterochromia, she had two different colored eyes. One was a soft honey amber color, while the other was a green, stunning...piercing green with turquoise flecks in it....though she hid it under a fringe of fur often. The trio began to set out, all searching for prey to eat.

  • Applecreek sneezed as the gentle caress of a leaf grazed her nose. The she-cat's head rose in frustration and she let out a quiet hiss. She stumbled to her paws with an angry lash of her tail and walked over to her storage of herbs. She hobbled on, looking at her sleeping apprentice, before coming to a stop near the pile. The herb that had woken her was....burdock! Her tongue hung low out of her mouth as she tasted the air. The pile of burdock was small and it wouldn't be long before something would happen. "I'll let Yellowpaw know...."she mumbled and hunched over the herbs. She began sorting the pile since a gust of wind seemed to cause disarray.

A nudge to his flank made him bristle, Thawspark's eyes shot open with fear. He was having the best dream of catching fat ducks by nearby ponds. Suddenly, he was pushed out of the dream world and into harsh reality. "Wake up!" A voice rumbled in his ears. Thawspark shook his head before fixing his sleep weary eyes on his brother Harepelt. "H-Harepelt? I was having the best dream!" He yawned showing his bright white teeth. "There was these ducks and-" before Thawspark could speak he was cut off with Harepelt's half annoyed/half amused snort. "We don't have time for that!" Harepelt complained quietly.

Harepelt glanced around the den, he didn't want to wake any other of the warriors because he knew they'd probably claw his pelt off. Harepelt nudged Thawspark to his paws and carefully tip toed out of the den. It was a challenge to get out without stepping on any cat's paws or tail. Harepelt couldn't possibly imagine how Thawspark was doing with this task. When he reached outside the air was a tad humid and the smell of dew laid everywhere. He and Thawspark gently lapped at the green blades of grass to get rid of their parched throats. "Glad to be awake?" He purred and gently cuffed his brother's ear. "How are you up so early?" Thawspark complained quietly as he washed his chest. "To be a good warrior is to be an early warrior!" Harepelt fluffed his pelt with pride and gave a side eye to Thawspark. Thawspark rolled his eyes and twitched his whiskers, the quivering stems dropping dew. "That made no sense!" Harepelt watched as his litter mate rose to his paws and padded to the fresh kill pile for a morning meal. "Wait for me!" Harepelt chirped.

  • Cherryheart stretched as she got up, before walking out of the den. Her stomach growled as she walked closer to the fresh kill pile. "Morning Thawspark and Harepelt." She yawned looking over at them. "Can you two go out hunting? Later I will be sending out a patrol to mark our territory." She asked noticing the fresh kill pile was starting to get low.

Featherpaw woke up to an empty den. She was the only apprentice at the time, so she had the den all to herself. She padded out of the den and bounced off towards the warrior den to see if her mentor Finchtalon was awake.

  • Ashfall's green eyes flickered open, and with a yawn the warrior moved from his nest. Two of his siblings on either side of his own nest he smirked as he first woke Eaglewing. Then the two brothers turned their attention to Finchtalon, who was sound asleep. The green eyed grey tabby tom of Ashfall moved closer towards his, creeping slowly. Then... "AHHHHH!" Finchtalon screeched in terror as Ashfall landed on her and rolled off, both him and Eaglewing laughing as they did.

Finchtalon took a moment to get herself relaxed, and watched her two brothers leave the warriors. The world was silent, as it always was for grey tabby shecat. She stretched, having had her scare for the morning and left the den, looking to see if Featherpaw was up. The grey tabby spotted the shecat and padded towards her. "Morning Featherpaw." She meowed quietly. The deaf warrior smiled to her apprentice, happy to even have one let alone be a warrior. She had worked harder than her siblings to be come one and it took her longer than an average apprentice to achieve her warrior rank. So the grey tabby was still happy about having Featherpaw as her apprentice.

"Morning!" Ashfall flashed a toothy smile at Cherryheart before turning it to Harpelt and Thawspark. Eaglewing sat quietly alongside his brother, as always calculating and quiet with watchful eyes.

Redstar slowly woke in her den, she stretched lightly her long red pelt matted slightly in some spots. She figured she could chew out the mats later and exited the den. Taking in the clan as they all awoke.

  • Crescentfern yawned softly as she padded through the trees. Her paw steps quiet on the ground as she listened for prey. Her body instinctively always staying in front of her two sisters. The calico not taking any chances should her sisters be in danger. The calico lifted her head then turned to Spirit and Rain "What can you smell?" she asked, nodding at the correct answer and crouching, having her siblings follow her example.

Spirit watched her sister quietly, her fur rippling with every step she took. This calico remained beside Rain, her ears flicking up and back constantly. She would make sure her sister was protected. The silver, blue eyes turned to her elder sister and she sniffed the air. Her tailtip twitching as she sniffed. "There's a mouse, vole, and thrush nearby." her gaze glittering with pride as she and Rain followed the crouched form of Crescentfern.

Rain padded along quietly. Her paw steps uneasy as her only visible eye scanned the surrounding area uneasily. Hr fur bristling. As her sister spoke, Rain turned to her and also smelled the air. As her sister up in front began to crouch, she and Spirit followed. Both crouching and following Crescentfern. As the female scared the prey, a thrush, Rain leaped high up and snagged a claw into the wing, dragging the creature down and biting its' neck, cutting off the shrill call it sent out.

  • DragonTamerLuciana ~Raven~// Just as Thawspark was going to snag something good from the pile Cherryheart and Ashfall had approached them. "Oh good morning, you two!" Harepelt waved his tail excitedly and turned to face them. Thawspark had slunk a little bit away from them but kept an ear out for what they wanted to say. Harepelt scanned over to see the ever so mysterious Eaglewing and waved a tail to him. "Good morning to you as well!" "Can you two go out hunting? Later I will be sending out a patrol to mark our territory." Cherryheart also looked incredibly hungry. The pile was barely anything. Maybe a few voles and a thrush. Not enough to feed everyone fully this morning. All three of them were basically starving to eat what was left but Harepelt shook himself. "Alright! Thawspark and I will go out." He nudged Thawspark from behind him. The tom was shaking under the spotlight of four different cats. "I promise I'll bring something juicy back for all of us!" Harepelt purred before heading off towards the tunnel. "See ya later!" He called back to them. He was going to get it done quickly before those afternoon patrols. He wanted to jump on one and scan the territory. Harepelt knew that keeping borders safe was the best thing to do. Thawspark gave him a slight half smile as they bounded out of camp.

Applecreek sighed in annoyance. The medicine cat pushed herself out of the den and into the open air. It was a lot fresher than she thought it was going to be. She watched Harepelt and Thawspark bound off to the tunnel like excited kits. Rolling her eyes, she made her way to the freshkill pile. Looking at her selection she chose the smallest thing in the pile and settled down to eat it. The old she-cat was finally getting some peace before all the giant kits wake up and ruin everything.

  • Yellowpaw awoke with a stretch and a yawn, blinking the sleep out of his eyes before he realized that Applecreek wasn't in the den. He stepped outside and saw the old she-cat grabbing something to eat. Yellowpaw didn't want to waste anytime seeing as she was already outside, starting her day "Would you like me to fetch some more burdock, Applecreek?" The apprentice had realized how little of the root they had left and wanted to make sure they had plenty in supply. He didn't like to be unprepared. "I'll try and eat as quickly as I can."

  • Applecreek's ears twitched when she heard Yellowpaw's voice. He wasn't a bad kit. He was well mannered and he knew how to treat cats. Yet there was something stopping him from being himself. One day he will be the next medicine cat and a good one at that. She finished the creature in a few gulps and shook out her fur. "Don't worry about it, Yellowpaw. I may be old but I can still fetch herbs!" She huffed and rose to her paws with a sigh. "Grab something to eat." She turned and faced him, she then stretched with a large yawn. Her ears pricked when an idea flashed through her mind and she narrowed her eyes. "Actually, I think we need more marigold. Something tells me we will need it." Applecreek's eyes glazed over in worry. Applecreek had been suffering from visions or so she thought. Applecreek's pelt itched and she flicked her tail to him. "I'll be off now and eat something good! I don't want you to have as much energy as me!" She snapped and lumbered away.

  • Crescentfern nodded her head to her little sister, padding forward to lick Rain on the head proudly. Her calico pelt bristling as she raised her head. Clan cats were beginning to come out of the camp, that meant they needed to get the den and quickly. The soft green eyes, almost a sage brush color, were alert as she ushered her siblings towards the den, her eyes flitting side to side warily. "Go to the den...be careful." the young adult murmured gently to Spirit and Rain as she veered off to confuse her scent with other things before going towards the den, slipping past the roots easily.

Spirit felt proud at her sister. She padded forward, nuzzling the ear of Rain proudly. "Good job little sis! Great catch!" The smaller calico purred, her soft ice blue eyes scanning as she noted her eldest sibling's worry. Once Crescentfern ordered them back to the den, the duo followed order without fail, instantly going straight to the den, slipping past the tight root system before they curled up in the darkness.

Rain blushed and felt proud, grabbing her catch and padding after Spirit quietly. Her eyes scanning the area uneasily. She was slightly scared. The rare colored and two-toned eyed she-cat was quick to slip into the den after her elder sister, her body slipping past the root easily, dragging her catch with her. The smokey grey and black she was impressed with her catch, and pride filled her as she nosed it to Spirit and Crescent, whom had returned.

  • The long haired leader moved from her den with a stretch, taking in the clan. Redstar had seen Harepelt and Thawspark bound out of camp and hoped they were going off to hunt. She padded to Cherryheart, "Morning, Cherryheart," She greeted Applecreek and Yellowpaw as well, "Morning, you two, let me know if I can be of any help to you." She knew she needed to speak to Applecreek, but as to what about it was escaping her. So she figured it was nothing and gave a nod to her siblings.

"Eaglewing and I can go on a patrol if you want," Ashfall offered to Cherryheart, after giving Redstar a nod of good morning. Eaglewing sat quietly off to the side, observing, eerily quiet as he always did.

  • Thawspark and Harepelt had been darting and racing each other ever since they left camp. Thawspark grinned in joy before coming to a panting stop. "We should really be hunting!" He sucked in air and tapped the forest floor with a sore paw. "Good idea!" Harepelt gasped when he stopped beside Thawspark. Thawspark nudged Harepelt in one direction and Thawspark went the opposite direction. He watched Harepelt taste the air and pad off. He smelled the air and squinted his eyes when he saw a small shape. He dropped to his belly and poised himself just over the ground. He let his tail hover on the ground as he slithered forward. Thawspark was a mouse length away when the thrush lifted it's head and let out an alarmed cry. "Mouse dung!" He spat under his breath. I didn't even breath nor move. What could have possibly scared it? Thawspark lifted his head and scanned the area. Everything seemed quiet beside the usual cries of birds. He drew in air and let his mouth drop open. He tasted and scented something under all of the other normal smells. It smelled foreign and not from here at all. Thawspark thought it was another cat from a clan but he had been trained to know those scents. "I should report this." He muttered.

Harepelt greeted an anxious looking Thawspark with a large rabbit in his mouth. Placing it down Harepelt frowned. "What's wrong?" Thawspark was obviously buzzing with some sort of news. "I think something is on our territory! We have to report it!" Thawspark was whining like a lost kit. "What?" Harepelt couldn't do anything but be dumbfounded. "I smelled at least 3 or 4 things that didn't belong!" Thawspark informed. Harepelt's pelt bristled at the thought of an intruder. "I'll go back and report it. Thawspark you should really catch something. Whatever it is I don't think it'll pop out any time soon." Harepelt tried to reassure his brother with a gentle caress of his tail on Thawspark's flank. Thawspark nodded and shivered. "You'll be okay, really! We just really need the prey. Food has been rough ever since the flooding." Harepelt's eyes downcasted and Thawspark purred. "Always thinking of the clan! Go tell Redstar. I'll try to scramble up some prey." Thawspark's chirp made Harepelt feel a little bad for leaving him behind. Grabbing his kill, he dashed off back towards camp. I feel bad for leaving him but I'm sure he'll be fine.

Applecreek dipped her head to her leader but before she could move on she caught Redstar's eye. Redstar, I'm going to figure out what Starclan wants from us. Don't worry. I'll die before I let this clan suffer from an unknown threat! The proud she-cat bristled before laying her fur flat.

  • //Sorry for late response. I was dealing with a small headache//

Cherryheartt greeted Ashfall and Eaglewing, before greeting Applecreek, Yellowpaw, and Redstar as each one came over. She turned towards Ashfall as he began to speak. "That would be good idea. You two go ahead. When Harepelt and Thawspark get back from hunting, I will send them out on a patrol." She replied giving him a smile.

Featherpaw smiled as Finchtalon padded over to her. "Morning Flichtalon." She meowed excitedly. Featherpaw loved having Finchtalon as her mentor. Even though Finchtalon was a bit different from the other warriors, Featherpaw was glad that Redstar had chosen Finchtalon. "Where are we going today?" She asked curiously

  • //that's alright :) also I if everyone wants to we can do something similar to a Tigerstar plot..... i kind of have it all mapped out and if you guys want i can post it in the Chat thread for further discussion...//

"We can certainly do that. Come on, Eaglewing." Ashfall meowed to Cherryheart before looking back towards his brother. Ashfall waited and then the two brothers padded from the camp.

Eaglewing had sat, his amber eyes had focused in on his adopted sister, Redstar, as she seemed to be lost in thought. His calculating eyes picked apart her demeanor and figured something was troubling her. As to what he wasn't sure.

Finchtalon smiled, "I was thinking hunting. The fresh kill pile is still really low, and we do need to try and bring in what we can. Maybe we can practice some swimming while we go hunting?" Finchtalon made sure to keep her attention on Featherpaw, not to miss a word. She had gotten pretty good at lip reading, but the shecat still messed up every now and then. She knew practicing some swimming dosn in the flooded areas would probably come in handy if ever needed, and it added an extra challenge of navigating the deeper muddy spots.

Redstar sat, lost in thought, as she tried to remember what was so important she had to talk to Applecreek about. Then it hit her. Almost like a boulder came crashing down on her head. She got to her feet once her brothers had left them and meowed, "Cherryheart, Applecreek, do you mind if I speak to you two in my den?" Her voice which was normally filled with overconfidence seemed to waver slightly as she padded back towards her den. She sat down, and faced Applecreek and Cherryheart. Once the two had settled she spoke, "I know StarClan has been trying to tell me something. I'm not sure if you had any signs, Applecreek. But I know whatever it is isn't good. This most recent one, from what I remember there was a lot of blood." Her gaze settled on Cherryheart as she spoke her next words, her voice quiet and her confidence was completely gone, "I can't describe to you how much fear I feel in these dreams."

  • Crescentfern dared poke her head out of the roots and gaped when she noted the warriors near her den and she shifted her weight to her paws, her claws unsheathing. Her gaze darkened and she let out a soft growl of warning to Harepelt and Thawspark before ducking under and ushering her two little sisters down a narrow tunnel which led to their escape route to the trees. Her pawsteps were hurried as the calico, albeit lighter than Spirit, made her way through the darkness, she quickly poked her head above ground...her gaze flashing towards the two warriors and she smirked at her escape plan, hopping out of the tunnel.

Spirit blinked as she watched her elder sister poke her head out and give a warning growl. The younger sibling of the trio instantly went into protective mode and began to scan for danger, letting Crescentfern usher herself and rain further down the tunnel, coming in front to peer up and the younger sibling instantly relaxed when she noted the smug look on her sisters face. The 7 moon old kit hesitantly poked her head up after her sister jumped out then followed suit. Her darker calico marking standing out against the trees and soil as she turned to help Rain.

Rain was scared and she hid herself behind Spirit, gladly allowing Crescentfern to get them down the tunnel. She was the rare one in the group and oftentimes, she treasured the special protectiveness of her elder siblings. The smokey grey and black she-cat bounded down the dark tunnel, her paws sure and firm on the ground. She leaped up, letting Spirit help her out of the den and paused as she glanced around, waiting for the signal to keep going.

  • Harepelt darted through their territory like he was an actual hare being chased. Harepelt came to halted stop when he spotted Ashfall and Eaglewing. "Ashfall, Eaglewing!" He gasped out as his flanks heaved. "There's something in our territory! Thawspark says that it's nothing he's ever smelled before!" Harepelt lolled his tongue from his mouth and sat with a thump. "I ran so far...."he whined lastly. "Nothing has been spotted but it's scaring prey and I must report this to Redstar!" Harepelt's fur bristled in agitation.

Thawspark shook lightly as he was alone and with strange things. Thawspark had heard the warning growl and nearly leaped out of his skin. "C-Cats?" He muttered to himself. He ducked his head and listened to the patter of paws and then nothing. It's like they vanished! He trembled and tried to think of hunting and what Harepelt had told him. Thawspark high tailed it out of there and ran.

Applecreek twitched her nose in frustration. "You better make it quick. My old bones make gathering herbs precious." She followed Cherryheart and Redstar to the leader's den. She carefully crouched and tucked herself comfortably. The she-cat knew what this meeting was going to be about. When Redstar began she dipped her head in understanding. "Starclan has been giving me nudges about something yet I don't know what." Applecreek looked up at Redstar only to freeze. Her whole body tingled like lightening crackling in the air. Her eyes glazed over as she watched the scene unfold before her. Cats slaughtering cats. Howling of the wind, Redstar's grim face as she looked across the battle field. Kits screaming for their mothers and apprentices cowering in fear. "There will be blood, kin against kin on a gentle's wing."Applecreek rasped and shuddered as her fur prickled in fear.

///We can totally change it :P I literally just came up with something! plus low muse <3

  • Crescentfenr smirked as Thawspark high tailed away form their den. The young 12 moon old she-cat laughedout loud softly. Her tone light and breezy. "Well, that went well, glad we have that extra exit." The calico then frowned "Come on you two, we need to go to the other den....though we scared those warriors pretty badly." her tone lightened slightly as she began to pad though the trees, her body weaving expertly through the undergrowth. Her paw steps light and silent as she made her way towards the other cave, hidden under another tree, roots blocking it too. She was grateful that she had scouted, then created many dens and escape routes so if anything...like what just occurred...should happen they could slip away unseen.

Spirit followed her sister quietly. Her fur bristling with fear. Though the kit swallowed it to protect her youngest sibling. The middle sibling was cautious as she watched her sister. "Crescentfern, may we pause so Rain and I may get some water?" She asked softly, her eyes flicking to Rain, whom was right beside her. Both younger she cats were exhausted and that much was obvious. Sure, they scared one warrior, but would they get scared again? This was the only safe territory where they hadn't even been found out until now. Mostly, all territories they crossed chased them out. Spirit was scared, and rightfully so.

Rain laughed alongside Crescentfern as she followed the duo. As her sister spoke she glanced up pleadingly. Her eyes widening with hope. "Please sis? I would love water, and there's some right there." she pointed to where she saw a glint of a puddle. As her eldest sister gestured with her tail to the puddle, Rain dashed forward with her elder sister and the two lapped at the water as their sister watched for danger. Rain was also scared, should they be found, they risked being chased out again....which wasn't her favorite thing to endure.

  • "I don't mind. Let's go" Cherryheart meowed as she noticed that something was bothering Redstar. She followed Redstar with Applecreek to the leader's den. She was curious about what Redstar wanted to talk about. She listened to both cat as they spoke. "What does the on a gentle's wing part mean?" She asked curiously trying to piece everything together. That part of Applecreek's prophecy seemed a bit odd.

Featherpaw looked over the fresh kill pile, before looking back at Finchtalon. "Sounds like a good idea Finchtalon." She answered, before heading out with Finchtalon to go hunting.

  • Adderpaw padded out of the apprentices den and noticed his mentor Cherryheart going into the leader's den. He tilted his head slightly before shrugging it off before laying down in the sunshine, he figured once they're done meeting his training would continue or he might be able to convince them to take him on a patrol.
