  • "Need some help?" Sebastian would ask as he approached. As a trained medic it was easy to say he knew a thing or two about herbs. And it seemed this pup wanted to know just that. Herbs. And herbs were something he knew all about.

    //eww muse where'd you go?

  • it didn't surprise kellogg that leo would take interest in flowers and plants, a rather weak interest perceived by the fox. there were too little medics he had seen that actually had any ferocity in them at all. they might as well be declawed and have their fangs pulled out if they refused to actually defend their territory as well. "what are you up to?" it was obvious, but kellogg wanted to be sure he had actual herbs in front of him and not possibly poisons. the quiet ones always had poisons...

    The next to approach was Loviatar, who had seen the three males clustered together and decided that maybe, just maybe, something interesting might be happening.

    She was proven wrong, which was just typical - the scene was only Leopold sitting with some herbs, with Kellogg questioning him and Sebastian offering to help. The massive hound looked down at the young pup for a moment in thought, before taking a seat next to Kellogg, pulling both of her thin tails in front of her. "I take it you're interested in herbs, hmm?" Many children often were, she found. Very few actually grew up to have a position in them, but she wouldn't mention that out loud - no need to scare the child off from the field. "I'm sure Sebastian is very qualified, but if you ever want more assistance, both of my parents were healers and brought me up in the field."

  • GIVE THEM NO REASON TO STARE

    Playkit was pleasantly surprised, which was not something he could say very often, when he discovered someone in the clan who was his age and shared similar interests and personalities. Knowing that he wasn't the only freak- er, different child put less pressure on him. To think he could bond with someone like him over plants. It was the very idea that brought the socially anxious feline over, doing his best not to tremble around them even if he wasn't the center of attention like Leopold. Not aware of the other's boundaries he took a seat far away enough from him but close enough to where he could also observe, blue eyes seeming to shine with his own fascination.

  • Bo knew enough about herbs now to get him by, but he was not about to offer to help. Not because he didn't want to, but because he knew Lovi and Sebastian were a million times better with herbs. You're not really talented in anything useful, Bo. What a waste of space in the clan. Pushing the self-inflicted thoughts aside, the fox would force a convincing happy smile as he trotted over. "Golly, there's quite a bit crowd forming over here, isn't there?" he would laugh. "What's going on over here, fellas?" he arrived later then the others. Were they just sort of watching Leopold with herbs? Did the kid mind the audience? The fox would give everyone some space, not wanting to make anyone feel pressured or claustrophobic.

  • "YOU THINK I'M CRAZY"

    The raptor was lurking nearby. Eyes on Leo as he studied the herbs. He was clearly wanting to be a healer. Maybe Luke would let him try it on. A trainee rank, of course. Though he could care less. Leo was his goal in life. At least right now.

  • LEOPOLD

    one final stand

    The words caught his ear and the pup would look up. Eyes on the canine and head tilting a bit. Did he need help? The pup would nod at this. "P.. Please." He replied before seeing Kellogg nearing him. He knew, deep down, the fox wouldn't like his herbs. It was weak and the fox was not one to like weak creatures. The pup would shuffle his paws and silently wish for Zerrak. God, he needed that raptor right now. "H.. Herb studies sir." He answered with clear nervousness. What would he say? Would he scoff at him?

    The came the massive hellhound. She scared the child half to death just from her size. That and she was a hellhound. A freaking hound from hell. The pup half expected her to laugh at him. Or scoff at the idea of healing. She was to scary to be nice, right? He was shaking a bit, though that was not surprising for him. She soon sat and spoke to him and he felt the fear leave him once more. "Yes ma'am. I wo.. would like that."

    He would then nod to Play as he joined the male. Clearly interested in herbs. And then Bo was talking to him. "It is m.. my fault sir. I am s.. sorry.." He offered softly. Out of the corner of his eye, he would see Zerrak lurking near him. Silently thankful for that support.

    So he did want help. She had never been a teacher before, only a learning, but she supposed she could at least...try. After all, Sebastian was there too, and if she needed help, he would surely swoop in and pick up from where she left off. Offering a smile to the small, timid pup (who seemed quite nervous of her, now that she thought about it), the hound gestured to the pile of herbs in front of Leopold, before asking, "What do you already know/ Can you name some of these herbs? I'm not sure if you know the basics already, like cobwebs, poppies and such, but we can certainly cover those first if you don't know them."
