    Introduction

    LakeClan resides in a beautiful mountain valley with a beautiful lake and tall pine trees. We are a proud Clan, and while our territory includes surrounding the lake and the pine forest up to the base of the mountain, it is not a large territory. We can easily defend it and be at any border within a few minutes if needed. You see, while the lake is grand, it is not very exceptionally large, which makes it easy to get around the territory.

    We have had a rich history and have been here for three generations. All the kits learn of how the Clan was formed by Rogues who during a bitter winter teamed up. The cats created our camp, working together, feeding each other, and caring for each other. That winter was the coldest and harshest in LakeClan history, it took dozens of lives and come spring there was only twenty cats who remained, most were new born kits and left eight adults in totals and three apprentice aged cats to work together to feed everyone. Three of the eight grown up cats had had kits, which is where most of the numbers were. Leaving five adults and three apprentices as the able bodied. Slowly more cats hearing of this group forming started to trickle in, some looking for shelter, some looking for food, and some looking for company. That was how LakeClan was started. When an argument broke out between several cats, one tom cat stepped up. He stopped the arguing, and established rules. You see, everyone had, up until this time, played by their own rules. He was a former Clan Cat exiled for something hadn't done but was framed. He set the rules, the boundaries, and became LakeClan's first official leader: Lakestar.

    Lakestar led the Clan into a prosperous future, he gave Loners a chance to join the ranks as he needed numbers. Lakestar enstilled an unspoken rule, that many of the warriors follow. To teach, or leader, anyone you must be able to do what you are asking of the apprentice or your followers. He had two apprentices during his time as Leader, and he was often seen leading patrols, helping repair dens, even helping when he could for the medicine cat. However, Lakestar's reign ended abruptly when LakeClan was attacked by a bordering clan. He died from the wounds he sustained in battle and his Deputy became leader. All cats know this and believe that Lakestar and their Ancestors are still looking out for them, as their winters have never been as cold or harsh as that first one that brought LakeClan together.

    In Character Rules:

    The Warrior Code:

    1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.

    2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

    3. Elders, Queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.

    4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to Starclan for its life.

    5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

    6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.

    7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

    8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.

    9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.

    10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

    11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

    12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.

    13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

    14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.

    15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet


    Medicine Cat Code:

    1. A medicine cat may not fall in love or take a mate.

    2. A medicine cat may not have kits.

    3. A medicine cat may only retire when their apprentice is ready to take their place.

    4. A medicine cat shares dreams with only StarClan.

    5. A medicine cat may only discuss dreams, prophecies, etc. with their leader or other medicine cats at the monthly meeting; dreams of an otherwise prophetic nature should not be disclosed to any outside parties, or any other cats in the Clan.


    OOC Rules:

    1. Please be respectful of each other. In character drama is allowed, but please no fighting in OOC I won't tolerate it

    2. No Mary/Gary Sue/Stus please, try to have your character have a few weaknesses along with a few strengths, no one is perfect

    3. Realistic Cats only, just like the original series

    4. I ask that you remain active, minor plots are welcome to play through without approval just let me know so I can add them into the Plot section so everyone knows what is going on and it is not a surprise to anyone

    5. Major Plots, run by me BEFORE you go and do them. I probably won't say no, but I might ask you to wait if something is happening at the moment for when the Clan calms down a little.

    6. You must be active, I am talking a post a day minimum, and if you are in a high position: Leader, Deputy, MC, or MCA I ask that you remain active and know what is going on in the clan.

    7. Please be respectful

    9. Yes the cats can be any sexuality you want, but please we do need heterosexual cats too, because we do need kits.

    Currently the Clan is recovering from a very wet spring, that has caused the waters of the lake to rise and parts of the territory to go under water and flood out, leaving only the northern part of the territory viable for hunting.

    FAMILY When he was younger he was actually apart of another clan. His family found out he had an affair with another male and they immediately disliked him. Yellowpaw felt like he couldn't bare to live in the same clan as his old family so he left and joined a new clan. He decided to make his goal to become a medicine cat, because he feels like no male would want to be his mate anyway. He studies a lot and tries his best to learn as much as he can.

    PERSONALITY Yellowpaw is extremely studious, becoming a medicine cat his only goal in life. He doesn't like to dwell on relationships because of his sexuality and how insecure he is about it, so he tries to distract himself with medicine and caring for others. He's very kind and soft spoken, not one for conflict, and extremely respectful towards higher ranked cats.

    PERSONALITY Applecreek is old and grumpy. She cares for each and every cat in the clan and cares deeply about everyone. Sadly, she wishes that she could have had a family. Applecreek doesn't like to be bothered by noisy kits or warriors with relationship troubles. The old cat is snappy, a witty comment will sometimes just spill out of her mouth. She has patience and can take time to do boring simple tasks. Applecreek enjoys times where she can be an elder but she also has a job to her clan. Applecreek has even stated that she won't die unless she knows things will be good in the hands of her apprentice. She keeps a lot of her own issues inside and often thinks negatively. Applecreek can even battle if she wanted to, if her hot head makes her do it that is. Applecreek just wants a peaceful life but she knows she won't get one because of the path she chose to take. Starclan looks down at her to do her job well and the pressure makes her a little stressed at times. Short bursts of anger can happen at any moment. Applecreek can be very supportive however, listening and guiding youngsters to the clan leader. She is there to be of help.

    APPEARANCE Applecreek is a thin wiry black, brown, red and white tortieshell she-cat. Her ears are wide and tall giving her a wide eyed bat look. Her face is thin and shows no fat. The she-cat's short coat shows her ribs and bones. Applecreek has lost her powerful and strong looking body, she looks frail and skinny. Her long whiskers and plump tail are always either twitching or prickled. Her paws are small and her claws are basically no more than pin pricks. The she-cat's stomach is barely visible and some cats thinks she might die soon. She doesn't smell completely pleasant either. Her ears are a deep ocean blue and it's the only thing that shows her youthful age inside. Her joints constantly ache but she pushes on without complaining. Her fur is still very sleek looking and doesn't look she is disgruntled at all.


       — Scars/Deformities She has a long scar over her shoulder blade from trying to save kits from a deadly fox.
