  • "You we never fit to lead in the first place."

Oh god, how right Asmodeus was. The demon can't lead in these conditions, much less be around others without worrying or breaking down and revealing a side he tried so hard to keep under lock and key. A shaky breath is taken in as a wide albeit sad smile spreads across his lips. This is it. The end of his reign. Soon to leave the only sanctuary he's had the best few months. His heart aches for the old days when SolsticeClan was still known and had joiners come by despite it being so little. A soft inhale is taken in as the scrawny serval pads out of the home where most of the Sanctumites reside. Memories begin to clash and whirl together as he enters the garden and halts. He uses this moment to take in the beautiful sight of the garden because this will be the last– for awhile, at least. Deadboy had so many ideas and visions on making the place active again, yet it all fell apart in the end. It's him. He's the problem and it's about time he solved this. The Sanctum is dying and he's not making it any better. All plans failed. "Hey everyone, gather around for one last meeting." Orange eyes are clouded with exhaustion and dull pain as he settles next to the fountain. "First, demotions. Micha and Effervescence are no longer here, thus leaving their ranks open. There is only one promotion– a... Big promotion." The dark feline pauses as if he were waiting for a crowd to take it in. There was now, but maybe him acting like there was might help lessen any internal conflict going on. "Araceli, you've been here as long as I have. From the time when a lot of members disappeared after Duchess stepped down, James not leading for long, and leading to Maria and I's reign. I would have promoted you sooner but I, uh, I've been having some issues." Get on with it already and stop stalling. "I'm unfit to lead if it's not obvious. I'm so fucked up that I'm a ticking bomb and I don't want to cause this plac any more suffering than it has. So, I'm stepping down and promoting Araceli as the new Crown. Uh, thanks for sticking around this long. It means a lot." A tired smile appears on his features before he gets up to make his way to the gates. This is it. The end. He refuses to look back– won't give a glance, even if someone were to scream his name. Foot steps were quick as he exited beyond the iron gates leading to his now former home. With a blink of the eye, the orange eyed demon blinked out of existence to who knows where.

    This is just the beginning.

// hey fam, sat here. if you haven't read my post in the chat thread then this is goodbye. i enjoyed playing deadboy here and leading y'all because this is the best place and has so many wonderful people. i'm bb (bearbones) most of the time and the other part is trying to boost up a clan i recently had redone, named, and such, thus leaving little time for the sanctum which isn't fair. i know i was sent pm about doing things such as hps tryouts, mass adopts, etc ( yes, i read it but never replied and i'm sorry. i normally do, but did it at a time where i couldn't reply on the spot. ), yet didn't make it on purpose. so, waterwing with araceli are in charge now and those that come or old ones returning, make sure to not give them a hassle. ^^ if i haven't had deadboy posted on a thread yet then feel free to assume the araceli is now in charge instead of deadboy and to tell any allies that arrive here. i'll still be around and pop in here and there, but not actively roleplaying or chatting here. love you guys. ♥

  • ♥ ― One last meeting? she puzzled over that for a moment, not wanting to admit to herself what it might mean. She hadn't really been paying attention to what was going on, but as soon as Deadboy spoke her attention immediately flicked over to him. The swift fox had been tending to the gardens, although she wasn't really sure what it mattered anymore--the members of the Sanctum were pretty much long-gone, and she was the last remnant of a time long since passed. Well, her and Deadboy, it seemed, but as he went on, her eyes widened in disbelief. He was leaving? She hesitated at his words--that was almost exactly how she felt. A young swift fox, cursed with vampirism and made monstrous--in her eyes, at least--for it. The sheer shock of her being named as Crown, as leader, sent her reeling, and she plopped down just to keep her balance. Surely he was mistaken, surely he was wrong, surely he didn't mean for her to remain as leader, but by the time she'd opened her eyes again, struggling to come up with some protest that would make him stay, he was already heading into the distance. "Deadboy!!" she yelled out, not just going to let him go without saying something, anything, her paws leaping into motion. She sped out of the gardens, hurtling past the gates, hoping to catch up with him before he was gone for good, but already his form had disappeared. "DEADBOY!!!" she screamed again, knowing now that he wasn't coming back, that he hadn't even looked back, her scream born of pure frustration and desperation and outright fear. She wasn't prepared for this, she didn't know how to be a leader, how was she supposed to run the Sanctum?
