  • Finch moved as quietly as she could through the forest, keeping an eye out for her sibling. Speaking of which, her sibling had disappeared again. She sat down looking for her sibling, her pale blue eyes striking out against her brown tabby fur. " (y/c)?" She called out, ears pricking as she listened for her sibling. Finch was a horrible hunter and couldn't track anything for the life of her. However, she was good at fighting. In fact she defended the two of them from pretty much everything. She would not last mor than a few days without her sibling or someone who could hunt, as with her fighting skills she still couldn't hunt.

! sam Hope this is alright. I'm horrible at starting posts. You can decide how old they are. :)

  • Viper's big ears swiveled around to the sound of his name. The small tom made sure the chubby vole under his paws was dead before lifting it into his mouth and bounding back in her direction. He hunted most of the time for them both, he wasn't very good himself but he didn't mind getting practice when he could. Practice for anything really. Viper spotting his sibling sitting by where they'd split up before. He trotted over and gently placed it in front of her. Viper never took the first bite, he had grown extremely close to his sister after their family; caring for her ridiculously and always putting her first.

  • Finch shook her head with a smile towards her brother, "Won't you eat first, please?" She always asked him this, and she knew his answer as she settled down beside him. Maybe today would be the day that he would eat first. They didn't really look like siblings, she knew that. But then again they were, and she had grown close with the small tom. She was hungry, and the vole looked really good to her, but she wanted him to take the first bite today. She thought it was overdue. "Did you see anything on your hunt? I did a decent sweep of the area and only found an old fox hole that hasn't been used in awhile."

  • Viper shook his head. "Im fine Finch..." He murmured, stalking around to make sure they could eat in peace. His long fkuffy tail swayed from side to side as his amber eyes scanned the undergrowth around them. He turned back to his sister when he was spoken to. "No, nothing new really." He answered, making his way back to Finch.

  • ★ ★ ★ Finch watched him as he stalked around their small clearing. She hesitated but when he came back near her she took a bite of the vole, giving in to her stomach's growling. "I was thinking we could use that old fox den I saw as a better den then the old bramble bush we've been using." She meowed after swallowing her bite and pushed the vole over to him so they could share it. She watched him a moment before adding, "We could break down the bramble bush and use it to cover the entrance...." She trailed off as she was thinking just how they would go about breaking the bramble bush to use it as a guarded entrance for the old fox den.

  • Viper crouched as the vole was slid over and took a mouthful for himself. When he finished his mouthful he finally spoke up. "Yea, that's fine. We can check it out when we're done eating." Viper took another mouthful, a hungry himself. He shoved it back and spoke up as if reading his sisters mind. "We can use what we tear down from the bush to use as materials for the fox den." Viper licked his mouth clean, wanting a bit more but he sat back anyway and let her have the rest.

  • ★ ★ ★ Finch nodded, "Alright." She took another two more mouthfuls of the vole before pushing the last of it back to Viper, "Finish it, Viper, I finished the rabbit last night. You finish the vole." She watching him for a moment, contemplating what he had said about the materials, it would work. "We just have to be careful of the brambles as we take the bush apart." Didn't have to go into meaning of why, because if either of them did get injured... well neither of them knew a whole lot about what herbs to use. She knew Poppy Seeds for pain, as she had seen their mother use them a few times, and she knew cobwebs to stop the bleeding, but she didn't remember much else.

  • Viper eyed the vole as it was handed back over. He gave a short sigh and finished it off, eating all his tummy would allow. He lifted his head and listened to her as he started to clean himself. "Yea, i agree. We do need to be careful." No matter what, Viper was still cautious over both of their safety. Especially since ileach other was all they had.
