    Jayson

Jayson hefted his hands, and tried to take note of his surroundings. Where was he? Why couldn't he remember what had happened in the past few months? He had just literally popped into this world, holding a stick in a strange barren city. To the right of him, a sign said "Welcome to Apocalos City!" with two blood red scratch marks next to it. "That's a strange name for a city," He murmured. Ahead of him, a zombie was slowly making its way toward him, groaning like a miserable human being having a hangover. "What is that?" Jayson asked aloud, unaware of the fact he was alone. Then above him popped up a text box of sorts that read: "Level 0, 0/100 exp." What did that even mean?Jayson couldn't figure it out.

"I'm going to have to kill that thing aren't I?" He whispered, and then charged at it with the stick and whacked it's head off. Before Jayson could congratulate himself, the zombie got back up from the floor and kept walking towards him, headless. "Damn..." He cursed, and whacked at it again. Above the zombie, a green bar that was slowly depleting and turning into a red full red bar could be seen. Jayson took a guess and decided it was a health bar of some sort, queue the zombie dropping dead when it fully depleted. Another shot of text appeared, saying: "+20 experience points" and then the 0/100 above his head turned into a 20/100. Maybe that was a good thing?

  • A young ginger haired girl rubbed her head in confusion. Where was she? She glanced down to see a woodenlike spear by her other hand. Picking it up, she noticed a zombie. "What the..." She said in confusion as she was greeted "Apocalos city? Weird.." She held the spear out and hit the zombie when it came closer. "Slow little bugger..." She mumbled in her british accent

  • casper had risen to his feet immediately, picking up the spear and twisting it in his hand. he looked at the approaching creature, unsure of what to do except whack it with the object in his hand, which he did. he heard a slight shriek from behind him, turning around to examine the source of the noise.

aspen was quick to stumble and fall, completely disregarding the item at her feet as she backed away from the zombie approaching her. she kicked out, her feet hitting it and causing a '-5' to appear beside it in a small font. before she could kick it again, something knocked it back causing it to blast a '-20' and shrink into the ground. her eyes stayed, lingering at where the beast once was.

    Jayson

Jayson walked out of the strange alleyway, revealing more of the city to him as he continued on. It was definitely just a basic city to him. The only difference between this one and that of a regular city, was the supposed apocalypse that he was in. He still couldn't understand what was happening, but nonetheless, he decided to stroll about and see if there was any clues. Though he couldn't find any, it seemed he couldn't really find anything at all. Disappointed, he sat down right as one of his headaches began. It was vicious fight, causing the poor soul to curl up in pain.

"What the heck?!" He screeched, feeling the pain echoing through fragrant forehead, as his current personality was losing control over his mind.

What seemed like hours later (That was actually just a few seconds...) The pain stop and Jayson could sigh in relief as his third personality took over- his most dangerous one. He charged into the city, looking for something to kill...

  • OOC: I'm gonna be doing my posts in first person for now ;)

Not even ten minutes in the realm of impending doom and I had figured out several things already. One; there was a floating box above me that appeared every time I looked up, or perhaps it was always there and I just never noticed it. Two; there were zombies all over the place. Many had the same get up I did, the bar and numbers over their head. Three; I had no clue where the bloody hell I was. It looked like a big, run down city with population -1000 around these parts. All I could recall was waking up in front of a large sign stating the name to be 'Apocalos City' and then one of the living dead coming for my face. After the first kill and words popping in front of my face to say I had gained '+20 experience points' and below it a '+2 bonus', I had hefted the heavy wooden stick and started into the city limits.

It was the generic city, all the buildings and streets, aging cars that looked like they hadn't been used in forever and broken up shop windows. Straight out of a horror film. I hide behind the corner of an old building, well, rather between two buildings. Footsteps sounded in the silence of the apocalypse and I peered a small bit of my head around the corner. Something was coming. Zombie perhaps? I hated those. It was hard enough to hide from them. But this one was alone, perhaps he could get more of those 'points' that he had gotten after the first. Gripping the wood in my hand, I made my move, rounding the corner and bringing it up above my head to strike down at whatever it was, only to freeze up. It wasn't a zombie. (Jayson)

    Jayson

Jayson didn't act surprised at all when he saw the other human. Finally someone he could have some fun with, He smiled. "Hello, come here often?" He called out to the stranger, taking note of his features. That information would be useful later, Jayson decided.

  • Anyone wanna play with Pepper? (Silently also wanting to write in first person, might actually do it with Pepper and make another character in third person)

    Peppermint|Survivalist|16

I groaned when I heard something behind me. Shifting my spear, i turned and pointed it. Not a zombie thing, but it was a human... Or. Was it? I couldn't tell from here. I grit my teeth and walked towards the figure. I was so wrong! It was a zombie. It slowly clambered towards me as i made an effort to climb a nearby tree. I was having a hard time and managed to start climbing, but the zombie grabbed my foot. I kicked it, it's head flying off and landing behind it. Distracted, it walked towards it's head and slowly put it back on, after having to grope around for it. I squealed a little at my quick, but curious, thinking and scrambled all the way up the tree. I sighed and glanced around. Noticing a figure, two of them, one walking to another, i watched in curiosity. Was it a zombie? These guys seemed to be harmless.. At least, not if they decided to start climbing. But i doubted that they could be smart enough for that.

    Jasper|Hunter|17

Jasper groaned and shook his head. What was he doing here?

(Short post so i can introduce him. Just ignore it until his form is actually accepted and stuff)

  • I found my eyes wandering up above the head of the other human. Did he have one of those weird bars too? It was smaller than my own, perhaps because it was right above me, but similar. 'Level 0' as it showed, the green bar of health was present, but it lacked the count of points. Was that just for my own? Or could just I see my own? With any hope I might've had in figuring out who the hell this was, there wasn't even a name labeling the bar. Come to think of it, I didn't have that either. That was good. At least I retained some privacy.

My arm twitches back as if I were about to swing the stick down in the final actio, but with a couple more wiggles of it, I lowered it with a scowl stretching across my face. "Not the place for jokes, mate." I took a step back away from the stranger and turned my head several times to check around us. There weren't too many zombies on this street. Probably about twenty feet wide...and it stretched for several blocks. The buildings on either side let for little exits, though conjoining roads made the most of the escape routes and small alleyways. There were a couple zombies down the road farther, and to the other side just one, whom seemed to be distracted by a singular tree that had been planted in a soil opening on the sidewalk. Wait a minute...I could hear the noise of a...woman? Oh you had to be kidding me. Did someone seriously climb that tree like a cat? Come to think of it...that was near where the sign to the city was.

Shaking off the thoughts, I left the stranger behind me in curious pursuit of the mysterious tree-woman. The zombie seemed to be having trouble with its head...maybe I could help with that. With my hard green eyes locked on to the creature, I brought my stick back and swung it over my head like a longsword. The poor zombie didn't even know what hit it. The stick went through part of its soft skull and the green bar above its head blinked as it went down. Red took over the green and then there was no color. Pulling my stick from the head, that annoying beeping sounded again, followed by the words '+20 experience points' and once more that '+2 bonus points'.

  • Peppermint|Survivalist|16

I glanced down to see bars, similar to my own, above the strangers head. Confused, i slowly climbed down, spear clutched in my right hand. "Who are you?" He seemed to be friendly-ish.. I noted the fact that he held a stick, similar to mine almost. I tilted my head, but still stood in a battle-like stance. No way was i gonna be the idiot chicks in the horror movies who let their guards down. No way. As i waited his answer, i took more of his looks and details in. He was in fact quite handsome, but seemed older than me. Much old maybe. I would say his age was around 20 or so. I noticed he was a ginger/red head like me. Though his eyes were a different color than mine. My ears lowered. Wait. Ears? I quickly snuck a touch to my head. My breath caught in my throat. I had wolf ears and a wolf's tail. How? Was i cursed? Gah. Whatever. I should have been paying more attention to the male though. Looking back at him, i tried to frown as i waited, but the frown appeared worried

Ani, ani, ani! (No, no, no!) Yun's mind was racing as she ran from what she knew as a jombi, 'zombie' in Korean. Above the zombie's head was a word that read 'Runner'. Yun, with the overly limited English that she had, had no clue what in the name of jiog that meant. However, judging by it's fast pace, she knew that she needed to run, run as far has her legs would take her--which ended up being not too far. The Korean girl soon found herself stuck in the back of an alley, and she could already hear the zombie approaching. Not knowing what else to do, the cowardly girl crouched down and buried her head in her knees, waiting for what seemed to be her sealed fate to come.

Just as the zombie's moans grew loud, seemingly right in her ear, there was a sudden thud. The new noise drew Yun's from her hiding place and, looking up, she spotted what she would probably now call her gujoja, or 'savior'. The zombie was now on the ground, it's head partially removed from the body with a yellow bar above it's head. It seemed to start to get back up when, suddenly, a sharp-edged stick was put through it's back, turning the yellow bar to red, eventually, it completely disappeared. Yun's dark eyes turned from the zombie to the man that seemed to be the culprit--a man who now had a '+20' just next to his head.

The man seemed to barely give her a glance as he started to walk away again, the sharp stick in hand. Scrambling to her feet, the girl called out, "Gidalim!" (Wait!) That word alone made the man turn to look at her, however she quickly took note of the curious yet chilled look on his face. Panicking a little as she tried to think of something to say, she could only think of one question, if you could call it that, anyway. "Um... naega neowa hamkke hal su iss-eulkka?" (Can I come with you?) It was obvious that the stranger had no clue what she said from the look on his face and his sigh as he turned away, walking the opposite direction from her. However, being the optimistic girl that she was, Yun shrugged and walked after him, her eyes looking around at the scenery as she followed the hooded man to who knows where.

  • aspen took the hand that her older brother had reached towards her, pulling herself up and standing beside him. he had a weapon in his hand, though she wasn't at all interested in the object. she glanced around, examining the basics of the city. "Cas, where are we?" her question floated in the air for a silent moment before she heard a faint 'oof' and she spun around to see what her brother had done.

casper lay on the ground, spread out like he was stretching. he had tried leaping, feet first, onto an abandon car. he knew his sister saw through his playfulness, but he didn't care. twisting to the left, he put his right hand on the ground and pushed himself up. back on his feet, he placed his hands on the trunk of the car and lifted himself up. once standing he held his weapon high in the air. "This is Sparta!"

aspen bent down to the asphalt, picking up a rock that lay among many like it and chucking it at her brother.she saw a '-5' flash in front of him, the green bar above him fading by the tiniest bit.

    Jayson

Jayson laughed. More and more people kept showing up by the minute, making things better and better for himself. "Hehe," He smirked, raising his stick a little bit higher. "So what are you all here for? A bad time or something?" Of course Jayson didn't really mean what he said, but his third personality seemed to hate its guts. A zombie groaned from behind him, trying to grab him. Jayson twisted around with his stick and starting beating the zombie relentlessly, without mercy. He laughed when he saw the guts fly all over the place, making him seem more like a psycho. He smiled as his experience bar added twenty more points, now at 40/100 till the next level.

He still didn't know what that meant, but he thought it had to be something good. That's what it felt like. Whenever he gained more points, it made him feel somewhat proud.

    Out Of Character

Hey Darkened I know your character is a duelist but don't make him too badass at level 0 okay? It doesn't really make any sense for a person to one hit kill a zombie (Even if they're low level zombies) at level 0.
