  • Lance snorted. "I still think this is a waste of time, Bird-Girl. Because there is nobody here but a bunch of children and a lone ranger. Not some mysterious message sender. Whoever it was is probably having a good laugh right now because we all fell for this."

Glaring at every single person, Lance wished he had found himself in a group of people who were slightly more, oh, I don't know, prepared? None of them thought this was a trap. Lance had brought his bow with him, and he was very tempted to use it, especially against that Ivy, who was probably all talk. At least Lance knew he could live up to the claims he made.

  • "No need to be hostile to everyone" She said calmly at Lance and gave a slight smile to the new comers. She agreed with Lance that this was probably just some creep laughing at then all and she was beginning to lose interest in this whole ordeal. "Lets look at the facts here. From what I can tell we have nothing in common with each other so that warrants some kind of thinking if we really are this so called champions. Before you say anything about being gullible idiots you are here too" The last part was directed at Lance. She gazed upon everyone around her and honestly couldn't find a common thread between all of them. If this sender really wanted help getting people from everywalk of life was a good way to start.

    (When does the fainting happen?)

  • ((Oh, I have an idea. Maybe there's like a shadow that covers the moon, freaks everyone out, and then those who are more attuned to nature or have high senses feel something coming from the forest, then this shadow covers all of them and they black out? I dunno, just an idea))

Lance rolled his eyes for what felt like the fifth time at Ivy. "Sweetheart, I am only here to shoot the messenger. And I do mean literally."

He jerked a finger behind him at his quiver of arrows. Though he did not lower his hand after, but rather unslung his bow and strung it. A strange feeling has just raced up his back, and Lance glanced over his shoulder at the shadows of the forest. He frowned. Maybe he was imagining things. Ivy had probably aggravated him too much. His one-with-nature sense had been screwed by interacting with other people.

  • Pandora glancing up from her book again she noticed that a seventh arrival has come aside form herself. "Eight individuals... If we were in any danger we would have been jumped one by one... as scary as that sounds. They wouldn't just let us group up like this..." All the while she has no idea she's thinking out loud so everyone can hear. "The letter, the way it was worded it seemed more like a plea for help other than some one pulling some kind of joke. Especially if they knew all of us, I don't think I have had any association with anyone any of these people know. So the only thing I can think of would be... in all reason that it's in fact no one of us sent the letters it could be that we received them at random... If any of us payed enough attention my letter didn't have my name in it... only way to prove the theory would be to see the letters of the others and if they are directly addressed to them."

  • Zander's eyebrows knitted together and he stared at Lance. "Okay, rule number one: no shooting people." He said, eyes flickering to the boy who definitely seemed to be the youngest, although Zander only got that from the baby face Dylan was sporting. He could always be short, as well.

Hearing Pandora, he looked towards her, a frown on his face. "Mine wasn't addressed to me, either." He told her. "It just said 'go to the tracks, blah blah blah' and stuff."

  • ooc: Good Idea. I will start that off. Also, sorry to foreveryoung since I want to get this rolling I am going to have you teleport here.

IC: Birdgirl? Thats the best he can come up with, thought Robin being more bitter about the name calling then she should have been. Having nothing to say as a comeback she gave up and just said, "You know what? Your right, this is a waste of time! And since I don't want to share the air with this prick," she looked at Lance, "I am most certainty going to leave."

She just started to walk away when she herd a small voice, "Oh dear, I was hoping that you would be here before I made my presence know... Oh well they will join you in a moment." Once the voice went quiet the moon's color drained and the world became covered in a great darkness. Well of course robin panicked she had no Idea what was going on.

  • Pandora squinted trying to keep vision of her book. Strange... she can't see. It shouldn't be this dark yet. Starting to look around realizing how dark it's become. "I can't see? I saw fine a moment ago... Why... do I feel so... sleepy?" Lays her head down and goes to sleep.

  • Lance ignored the insult Robin fired at him. He ignored every other voice as he sprang forward, whipped an arrow out of his quiver, aiming into the forest behind him. His eyes narrowed dangerously as he scanned the darkness, but again there was nothing out of the ordinary. But that voice... Someone else was here, someone dangerous.

Suddenly, a darkness fell over the world, and Lance shouted, "Show yourself, you f***ing coward or I swear to Arceus above, you are so dead!"

His threat had no effect because Lance started to feel extremely sleepy two seconds afterwards. Lance shook his head multiple times, trying to clear it, but everything was growing hazy.

I will not blackout because of this creep, Lance thought even as the darkness consumed him. No f***ing way.

  • Finally people were thinking with logic instead of just yelling at each other. Thinking back to the letter she realized that it didn't have her name either. Maybe that whole random thing had some truth to it. She smiled at Zander telling the angry idiot not to shoot someone, but it quickly disappeared when the darkness gathered around. She heard other people panicking but couldn't see a thing, not even her own hand she was sure she was holding only two inches from her face. She heard lance screaming and shooting his bow into the shadows and rolled his eyes. You can't fight what you can't see, so why bother fighting. She let the darkness consume her since there was nothing she could do to prevent it. Ivy fell to the ground with a loud .

(Also foreveryoung did respond I think they just got lost between other people. The post is at the bottom of the first page)

  • ((I'm really sorry for not posting I've been a bit busy with my baby brother but I should be good now!))

Rose had been listening to what they've been saying. This all did seem really dumb and just random. She wanted to speak up and say maybe it was some sort of lottery, but decided it would probably sound weird. Especially since she hasn't even introduced herself! Oh gosh she really needed to do that. Rose opened her mouth to speak, but before she could say anything the darkness came. Rose froze up, not knowing what to do. Then she could feel herself getting sleepy. She tried to look for the others to see how they were dealing with this, but could see no one. 'Oh no no no,' she thought to herself, feeling incredibly nervous. She started to back away, but something caught under her foot and she fell. Before she could register how badly she was hurt she fell asleep.

  • (yea, I did notice that forever young did post, but it didn't seem like their character was physically at the area where the others are at.)

Robin felt vary off and finally blacked out. She didn't know what the heck was going on, but she was afraid. She wanted to see her parents and pokemon again, but she was stupid enough to fallow the instructions of a letter to this place. As she fell asleep she dreamed of a mysterious pokemon. It look like one of the cat pokemon and was floating. It was a vary blurry image. She soon woke up feeling different.... and shorter.

  • Zander looked up at the sky as darkness began falling over them, eyes widening in shock due to the fact that the moonlight was literally being drained away or covered. Was it an eclipse? But no one had said anything about there being an eclipse tonight!

He felt his eyelids beginning to grow heavy and he kneeled on the ground, taking deep breaths, trying not to hyperventilate. Gee, this must be something serious, he could hear the others collapsing around him. He desperately tried to stay awake, even going so far as to try physically holding his eyelids open, but he soon gave in and let his eyes close.

  • Camellia looked around at the group. She didn't understand why Lance was so hostile. She introduced herself to the two newcomers as the group discussed the letter everyone received. It was obvious that Lance had angered Robin, but she didn't bother to go after her.

Camellia grew alarmed as it started to get dark. "What's going on?!", she yawned as she started to get closer to Lance for protection. She struggled to stay awake and eventually blackout like the rest.

  • Lance's eyes fluttered open a few moments later to see that be was exactly where he was, only he felt strange. Like he had been pulled out of his own body into another.

Shaking his head, Lance staggered to his feet and nearly fell over. Everything felt so off. His balance, his body. Something had happened, something terrible.

  • ((I just remembered different fonts existed wooo here we go))

Rose groaned from where she was on the ground. Her arm was throbbing and what she believed was her tailbone felt awfully bruised. 'How did that-oh right.' Memories of the train track mess came flooding back to her. Oh god how long ago was that? She really needed to get home before her parents got worried! Rose went to push herself off of the ground, but when she caught sight of her 'arms' she froze. What should've been pink and fleshy was now yellow and shiny. "Uhm," she mumbled nervously. She jerked her head to the side to look at herself and ended up slapped herself in the face with her... ear? "What? This, this can't be right," she mumbled again, this time even more nervous.

This was impossible! There was no way she could be a pokemon, much less an electric type. She would've never imagined herself as an electric type, but here she was. She took her eyes off her new body to look at where the other trainers once were and found pokemon in their place. Maybe they have a better idea of what's going on. She looked around and saw that the Skarmory was awake. The scariest pokemon here just had to be the one awake. She gulped and tried to steady herself, being in a helioptile body was hard, but being on four legs was probably a lot easier than "Uh, hey! Mister Skarmory, w-were you one of the trainers here? The ones that had to meet at the train tracks," she asked as loudly as she could, hoping the other pokemon could understand her.

  • When Ivy woke up she felt a piercing pain in her skull. Something distinctly felt wrong as she pushed herself off the ground. When she was in a standing position she started at the tree in confusion. I swear I was closer to those branches before this whole thing. She said thinking to herself and rubbed the back of her neck. She smiled as she felt the soft hairs on the back of her neck. Wait I don't have hair on my neck. She looked at her hand and yelped when she saw the furry paw instead. Gazing down at her body she saw the cute bundle of an espurr. Being a psychic type would explain the powerful feeling she had around her and the pulsating pain in her head and her ears? She rubbed her ear folds trying hard not to freak out. "This isn't possible, people can't become poke mon. I'm having a dream a just need to wake up. So wake up already" she said and slapped her self. When nothing happend she just felt like an idiot. She turned her attention to the skarmory and heliopitile

  • Eyes fluttering open, Zander narrowed his eyes. He felt..odd. He sat up, groaning as his head felt too heavy, bending over with his eyes shut to grab at it. However, instead of his fingers brushing hair, they found nothing. Confused now - Did someone shave my head while I was out of it? - he looked up, seeing Pokemon all around him, the world looking much bigger than usual. The ones who were awake looked fairly confused as well and he stared at his hands. His hands were a light brown, covered in thinned fur, and fingers that used to be long and skin were short and stubby now.

What was he? He looked around, seeing a puddle not too far away. His head drooping due to the extra weight, he looked into the puddle, letting out a shriek when he was met with the skull-faced Pokemon, Cubone, instead of his usual face. Well, that explained the heaviness on his head.

  • "WHAT THE HELL?" Lance shrieked spinning around in a complete circle once he realized he had become a Skarmory. "WHAT KIND OF SICK JOKE IS THIS?"

For someone who lived alone, Lance was surprisingly loud. But he had little reason to speak in the first place, so when he did, it was either arrogant or loud. There was no in between. Most of the time, Lance said about a sentence a day, if his Pokémon required instruction. He did keep it warm by humming or singing softly, but most of the time he was rather quiet.

So when Lance started screaming, his voice cracked several times, and with the metallic ring of Skarmory's cry, it sounded awful.

  • Groaning clenching her eye closed and covering her ears with her hands as Lance screams and then the skarmory cry jerks her upright. "S-Skarmory..." Backing off slowly she notices a huge problem why was she so short? Looking at her own hands and her eyes turn to immediate fear and she screams fainting.

  • Rose jumped back and covered her ears. Her oversensitive pokemon ears had a hard time handling the skarmory, cubone, and ralts screaming, though the ralts wasn't nearly as loud as the giant metal bird who was currently assaulting her eardrums. 'Does everyone have to be loud? I'm sure there's someone who- oh hey an espurr!' When Rose felt it was safe to remove her paws from her ears she gave the espurr a little wave before looking at the other pokemon who weren't intimidating steel types. 'Oh boy, that's great,' she thought as she saw the once again passed out ralts. All the pokemon that weren't still asleep looked rather concerned, and with good reason.

"Are you all alright? Who were you? I was Rose I don't think I, uh, introduced myself I kinda just came, sorry about that" she said quickly, addressed the awake pokemon. Maybe having someone speak to them would calm their nerves. She really didn't want another screamfest.
