    Krystalbreeze stopped, sort of near where the medicine cat den would be located and paused to catch her breath, her calico fur sticking up as she flicked her ears about to listen for anything. The young 13 moon old she-cat was nervous, and her body shook with alarm, fear, and worry all placed in one big package. Brightstar was in danger, and that scared her. The cobwebs on her shoulder had staunched the blood but were stained crimson with her own blood. The calico she cat lowered her head to breathe in and out to catch her breath. "He is completing the ceremonies...and Brightstar is not doing well!" Krystalbreeze shook her head slightly "I should have never left!"


    "Mother, we must keep going, we can not stay put here." Aurora murmured softly, turning to her mother and going to her side, pressing against the distraught former clan cat. Her eyes softening as she understood what her mother was going through. Krystalbreeze had given up friends, and family for a mate and he turned on them...hurting them. Aurora nuzzled her mother "The male up there will do fine, but we must not stay... I know it hurts not to be there with your friend but you must keep ourselves secret long enough....we can not afford to be seen now. " Aurora spoke soothingly, her eyes held saddness and empathy for her mother as she pressed into the warm fur.

    Minimarsh was honestly shocked when she was given an apprentice. But she stood up and walked over to Rosepaw and touched her nose to the apprentice I'll do better this time Nettletuft, I promiseshe thought to herself before pulling away from the apprentice.


    Squirrelpaw smiled at Rosepaw before turning to her brother, knowing they would be next.


    Mudsteps ears perked as she heard the voice of Linnetstripe, but there was something else to. "Bearfall, stay here and watch Brightstar, if she wakes call for me" she told him before exiting the den and going straight out of the exit to the play of making dirt, which was located near the Medicine cats den. "Hello..?" She female whispered, knowing she had heard voices but couldn't pinpoint from who.


    (( Zephyraisis if you want I can make it so Mudstep is like, really excited to see her, having remembered her from before her leaving the clan. But depending on what age, we can make it so that Krystalbreeze only remembers she was an apprentice and Mudstep gets all proud by telling her she's now a full medicine cat. That's up to you though. If you do that, just have your cat call her Mudpaw c: ))

    Bearfall saw that Mudstep had heard something and she ordered him to stay there he nodded. His head titling to the side when she made her way to the enteranc. He was confused but shrugged it off as he stayed near his leader as he was told.

    Rosepaw really didn't want to continue with her ceremony as their mother lay practically dying like Badpaw said in the medicine den. She looked at her paws as she stepped forward and actually felt a little happy she received Minimarsh as her mentor, she was a good warrior. Rosepaw stepped forward and touched noses with her before quickly Turning her head towards the medicine den, hoping Brightstar would just come out okay.

    Krystalbreeze froze at the voice and blinked her stunning eyes slowly before she glanced at Aurora and flicked her tail "Stay put, and do not move unless someone comes." She murmured as she flicked her daughter on the ear. Krystalbreeze gave a warning growl as she paced forward, letting her ears flattening and eyes narrow. Her shoulder twinged painfully as she glared in front of her before she froze when she came face-to-face with Mudstep and she gaped.


    Aurora blinked and tilted her head, settling herself on the ground, her siamese fur rising in worry. "Yes mother..." The kit murmured as she watched for anyone coming. Her muscles tensed as she got ready to dart away if need be. Her wounds stung like some type of poultice poured onto it and she flinched before she stood up to pace, hoping to loosen her muscles around the wound.

    Mudstep's eyes widened and she backed away slightly from the cat before looking at her "Krystalbreeze?" She asked, her voice sounded shocked, but she was also quiet, so she didn't alarm any of the clan. "What are you doing here? And what happened yo your shoulder" she asked, noticing her bleeding shoulder

    "M-Mudpaw?" Krystalbreeze stammered, stepping back quickly before she flinched at the pain and stole a glance behind her to where she could see her daughter waiting. "U-um..gee look at the time, hehe I better go home...mustn't keep my kits waiting long." she lied softly, taking another step back, almost falling onto her face as her shoulder buckled form under her. "Auro---dear stay back, I'm fine." Krystalbreeze whispered when she saw movement. "I-I ran into a fox..yeah a fox on my way back home the other day haha clumsy me, it's fine."


    Aurora froze at the sound and paced some more before she heard a thump and she blinked and whirled around to face where her mother was "M-Mother!" Aurora gasped, rushing forward then stopping as her mother told her to not come forward. This wasn't exactly how their plans were, they were supposed to get to the den without being seen.

    "actually it's Mudstep now, Mallowmarsh died shortly before my name was changed and Coaltail took me to have it done" she said, tilting her head "Why don't you let me give you a look over real fast? And you can stay in camp with me for a bit. I can help you grab your kits as well" she added, as she watched the she-cat stutter and seem in extreme pain. She then noticed the small cat behind the other

    Krystalbreeze gave a shallow laugh and hesitantly gesture her tail in front of her daughter to hide her from view "O-Oh you know that won't be necessary, we were just heading home and it's pretty far away..." The young 13 moon old mewed softly, standing up proudly before she collapsed again and huffed in annoyance. Pride glinted in her orbs though the fear was hidden under it. "You are a full fledged medicine cat, I'm so proud of you...we...uuh I mean I must be going." the warrior managed as she forced herself to her paws "You have the clan to look after." She forced herself not to say her leaders name, not wanting the medicine cat to know she had been there watching. "Aurora, you good?"


    The small siamese kit had forced herself to freeze when Mudstep glanced at her and she crouched, a brave attempt at a growl rumbling from her small chest, her own wound staining her lightly colored long fur as she crouched. "I-I'm fine mother." she murmured.

    -Linnetstripe had everything under control, so Shroudpaw relaxed a little. Still, she stood out in front of the medicine cat "guarding" as she had been instructed to do so. The calico apprentice watched Mudstep go off her own, tilting her head with curiosity. Where was she going..? Shaking her head, Shroudpaw decided she just shouldn't question it. Nor leave her post. But still, the she-cat was rather curious about Brightstar's condition. "Hey Bearfall..." She called to the other medicine cat apprentice, "Is Brightstar going to be okay?" She kept quiet, lashing her tail as she paced back in forth in front of the medicine cat den. It probably wasn't best to let the whole Clan know yet. At least Linnetstripe had everyone's attention.


    Bleakfall-

    -Bleakfall, who was most definitely bored, perked up as soon as he heard his brother's voice. "Hey Littletuft." He said, "How about this meeting? It's a bit... unusual?" he finished, turning back to watch Linnetstripe continue on calmly. His ears pricked as he heard Badpaw outright insult Sootkit. He gave a little huff, shooting a glare at the tom. Sootkit was basically a child. He shouldn't be so rude, no matter who his parents were. Bleakfall wasn't one to care much for lineage. Love was love he supposed. Sure they broke the code. At least they had each other, even if the Clan disapproved. He wouldn't discrimate for that. Brightstar was still their leader in every way, like Coaltail was their medicine cat. The black and white tom was honestly tempted to say something to badpaw, but he held his tongue. He shouldn't interrupt the meeting. Especially since it was Linnetstripe's first time. Surely he would get angry.

    Brookflare whom was dumbfounded as to all that was occurring so fast bumped into Bleakfall' s side. "oh.. I'm sorry! I wasnt watching where I was going, I was just lost in my thoughts..." The slender brown she-cat realized she was rambling and then sighed. "I'm sorry.. just so much is happening so quickly.."

    Bearfall heard a familiar voice and was snapped out of thought. He turned his head towards Shroudpaw, sighing he answered," we are trying ,but Mudstep says she has seen this with her relative and they didn't make it! But we are going to try for the sake of the clan." He said in slight confidence but he still wasn't sure baffled really.

    Oakpaw sat rooted to the spot, ears flattened as he looked towards the medicine den. His expression remained well masked, the only thing giving away his worry was his fur being ruffled and fluffed along his back. Linnedstripe was handling this, and yet...one look at him, Oakpaw could tell that he wasn't prepared for any of this. Oakpaw took a few deep breaths to keep his fur flat, looking over at Brookflare. A few moments ago, he was almost ready to jump out of his fur, cheering for her new warrior name along with Squirrelpaw's and Rosepaw's names, and now his enthusiasm fell flat. He was worried for their leader.

    Linnetstripe started to feel more confident with it and flicked his ears. "Sootkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed." He meowed glancing down at the small kit. "From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Sootpaw." He meowed looking down at the kit. He glanced around camp until his eyes met with a possible mentor. "Your mentor will be Asterfrost. I hope Asterfrost will pass down all she knows on to you." He meowed taking a small breath. He turned back to Asterfrost and smiled. "Asterfrost, you were made a warrior before 12 moons, but you have proven that you are just as skilled as any other warrior. You have shown yourself to be brave and strong-willed. You will be the mentor of Sootpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her." He meowed looking down at Asterfrost with a smile. He was starting to get the hang of it, yet there was a small part of him that was a little worried.


    Asterfrost perked her ears when she heard her name. Oh no she thought. Her ears flattened and she felt her heart skip a beat. Mudstep told her not to take an apprentice... but she couldn't tell Cinderstep! She didn't know how to tell him. "I will" Her voice shook as fear ran down her spin. She glanced down at her apprentice, and gave a weak smile. She wrapped her tail around her belly tightly so that no one would see the growing belly that was full with kits.

    Brookflare looked up as Sootpaw received his apprentice name and she smiled a little. She was happy for the Tom but worry still picked at her as she cheered out his name. Brookflare looked over at Asterfrost and noticed the fear that had quickly crossed her gaze. She tilted her head and noticed how Asterfrost had begun to grow some weight, maybe she was eating too much, she thought.
