Krystalbreeze gave a sad glance around the camp, her eyes on the medicine cat den before she withdrew her head and the loner swiftly turned, tears in her eyes as worry gnawed at her insides. She nudged her daughter before her "Let's go before we are noticed dear." she hadn't realized her wound had begun to drip blood onto the ground in her worry about the leader. "I'll be fine hun, no worries." the calico managed to murmur.

Aurora allowed her mother to nudge her away from the camp. Her wound bled still but the new dressing helped keep it from falling to the ground. As her eyes turned to her mother, the siamese gasped in horror. "Mother! You're bleeding again!!" the young female murmured, worry in her eyes as she brushed against her mother as she stumbled.

Clockworkstar~ yeah, unless Bleakpaw was held back. they are around 15 moons now.))

Littetuft padded over to his brother, Bleakfall. "Hey" He meowed in a rather blunt voice.

Coaltail was lashing his tail around other then that he looked calm. The tom was of course worried about his mate, but was use to not showing emotion like that. He took small breaths relaxing more remembering the training from his previous mentor.

Sootkit twitched his ears wondering why his mother had fallen. He knew his dad was a medicine cat and could help her. Then there was the very capable Mudstep and even Bearfall had his name and could help. He glanced back at his siblings to see their expressions.

Goldenpool had nuzzled her sister back lightly. Then when Brightstar fell she had leapt up ready to help if needed. Then when they were told it was due to heat she sat back down. The feline was worried about their leader but knew she would be of no help.

Crystalpool felt her sister nuzzle her back and she smiled, laughing again. Though after witnessing their leader having suddenly fainted, she perked up and was onto her paws within minutes. She was obviously concerned but slowly sat down, staying near her sister when the medicine cats just reassured them that they should calm down and that it was probably from her being overheated. She frowned but slowly lowered her ears against her head. She obviously wasn't entirely sure about the whole overheated thing, but she listened to the medicine cats. Crystalpool turned her head to look over at Goldenpool before speaking. "Goldie, is Brightstar going to be okay?" She asked, frowning in concern.

Goldenpool looked at her sister she gave her cheek a gentle lick."I'm sure she will be just fine. It is Brightstar after all she's a rather tough feline."she said gently. Her ears twitched some."I'm not a medicine cat though so I can't be certain."she said never one to lie to her sister. "If something happens we have Linnetstripe he's rather capable. I'm sure he will do well filling in for her while she rests."she said calmly though she hoped nothing did happen to Brightstar.

Waspheart was on her feet within seconds when she saw Brightstar fall, she couldn't help but to feelthat something wasn't right even though the clan had been reassured by the medicine cat she just couldn't shake off this feeling. She did hope though that the leader would be just fine she still stood and gazed into the medicine cats den.

Krystalbreeze wasn't doing well in the least, her body wavered and her one leg gave out, causing the youngish calico to fall to the ground "Aurora, find cobwebs please....and hurry." the she-cat mewed, her eyes closing for a few seconds as she tried to stand back up. Her head lowered to fight for balance. She stole a glance behind at the camp then shook her head "Please be alright...Brightstar." The former clan cat whispered, flinching as she noticed a blood trail leading to where she lay "Hurry my dear, hurry."

Aurora nodded and rushed off, ignoring her own limp and painful wound as she went to go find cobwebs. Her mother would be fine, she hoped. The kit was exhausted and not looking where she was going, almost running into a tree before she shook her head and went on her way again.

Bearfall nodded it was good for her to smile at a time like this," is this what she for sure has?" He asked, he wasn't totally sure yet but trying to find out was going to be tough. "Linnetstripe will do just fine, he his capable." He nodded slowly looking back at the tom," I'm confident he will do wel if this goes bad." He was trying to stay on the bright side.

Crystalpool closed her eyes when her sister licked her head again, reassuring her that everything was fine. She sighed and nodded. "Alright..." She muttered. Her head lifted to look at the other cats, seeing that a lot of them looked concerned or shocked by Brightstar's sudden action. The only two who didn't seem all that concerned were Fallowwing and Badpaw. She frowned at the two felines before just looking ahead and waiting to hear what the medicine cats were going to tell them and also waiting to see if the deputy would continue the ceremonies while Brightstar was busy being checked over. She stood up before sitting back down in a more comfortable position, her tail curling before uncurling, staying quiet for the most part.

Badpaw just scoffed as he watched what happened, smirking as he snickered. He seemed to find this amusing like he was a kit being given a mossball to play with. His ear twitched as he listened to the deputy telling everyone to calm down. Shaking his head, he looked away. Everyone was making a big deal over something that literally happens soon enough. If she dies, she dies, that's the end of it. Besides, less mouths to feed, right? Badpaw stayed lying down where he was, cleaning his muzzle one last time before resting his head on the ground. He was quite bored and didn't entirely know what to do to keep himself entertained. His ear twitched as he sat there before soon curling his tail over his paws and then uncurling it. He wanted to mess with Brightstar's kits and tell them their mom was going to die, but then again, he didn't want to be near those annoyances. He sighed before standing up. Well, it would humor him. He turned and began walking towards Squirrelpaw, Sootkit, and Applekit when Rosekit had ran off before sitting down. He stared ahead before speaking. "You know she's going to die, right?" He asked rather bluntly. He could hear Winterkit fussing at him in which he kicked the kit away from him.

Winterkit blinked as he watched as Brightstar fell and the medicine cats came to her aid. He blinked before frowning, being quite concerned to say the least. He sat there before soon hearing someone approaching Squirrelpaw and her kin. He glanced up to see Badpaw, frowning at the tom as he listened to him talk. Hearing what he said, he spoke up. "Hey! Don't say that to them!" He hissed but blinked and grunted when he was kicked. The tom skidded back, bumping into a nearby warrior. The white furred kit shook his head before looking up at the warrior he bumped into. "Sorry" He meowed softly and stood up. Hopefully they weren't mad, he didn't bump into them intentionally or anything.

Fallowwing was quiet as she sat there before soon looking away. She had watched Brightstar fall but didn't seem all that interested. Her tail flicked as she just sighed heavily. Everyone was panicking and she just sat there in annoyance. Geez, if she died, she dies, end of story. She stood up and turned around when the deputy tried to reassure everyone that she probably overheated. Fallowwing snorted. How stupid would he feel if she actually died, though. Telling everyone a big fat lie. Her tail swayed as she pushed past some warriors while walking out of the crowd. She soon got to the back of the gathered cats and stretched. She yawned loudly and walked over towards her sunbathing spot and lied down, completely ignoring the commotion and just having her relaxing time without a care in the world about the leader at the moment.

Krystalbreeze sighed before she fought to push herself to her paws once more. She stagger to one side, flinching as she rustled the bushes she was hidden in. She pricked her ears as her daughter returned with cobwebs for her wound. "Thank you dear, let's go." Krystalbreeze turned her grief stricken orbs to the camp one last time before she limped away, her head bowed as she fought the pain in her heart walking away from someone she used to know. The pain was tearing her apart inside.

Aurora rushed around to gather cobwebs and darted back to her mother lopsidedly. "Here you go mother!" she gasped, her lungs gathering air. She gazed sadly at her mother and she nodded, pressing against the calico fur for comfort as the duo began to head back to their hidden den. Aurora hoped her mother would be okay...her siamese fur was stained red from the wound on her mother and she was worried for her, but now they were at the den and safe...she hoped.

Sootkit blinked hearing Badpaw."Well yeah everyone dies at some point."he said calmly. The tom turned his amber gaze onto Badpaw."If you ever harass my sisters again though. And keep comments like these up I'll make sure you join starclan early."he said his amber eyes narrowed showing he was serious. Though the toms voice was bored almost annoyed sounding. (Angry cloud >:/ lol )

Badpaw just looked at Sootpaw and snorted, rolling his eyes. "What are you going to do, pipsqueak?" The much larger apprentice asked. Being that he was an apprentice much longer then Sootpaw who just became one, he had more experience on him, besides, he was almost a warrior now. Just one more moon possibly then he'd get his warrior name. His tail lashed as he snickered. "Besides with the way your mother broke the warrior code like she did, I'm sure surprised anyone even cares" He purred in amusement, his tail waving. "Next time try to pick a fight with someone your own size, alright?" He waved the tom off before laughing. Guess it was a good idea he went ahead and messed with them having this argument or whatever it was with Sootpaw really made his day. The newly made apprentice thinking he could take him on. Ha! What a joke.

Linnetstripe sighed knowing what he had to do. These kits still needed to be apprentices. "I guess I will be finishing the ceremonies." He meowed. He had a sad expression on his face. She can't get sick! I don't know if I'm ready yet! He thought flattening his ears. "Rosekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed." He meowed trying to mimic what Brightstar did during these ceremonies. "From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Rosepaw." He meowed looking down at the kit. He could feel his heart in his chest. He glanced around the camp quickly to remember who Brightstar said was going to mentor Rosepaw. His eyes laid down on her and his memory clicked. Oh that's right. He thought. "Your mentor will be Minimarsh. I hope Minimarsh will pass down all she knows on to you." He meowed taking a small breath. He turned back to Minimarsh and smiled. "Minimarsh, you are ready to take on an apprentice, even after the death of your previous apprentice you managed to stay strong. You are an excellent trainer Minimarsh, don't ever forget that. You have shown yourself to be Kind and Loyal. You will be the mentor of Rosepaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her." He meowed looking down at Minimarsh with a small smile. This wasn't easy. He feared that he would make a mistake but he pushed through.

Applekit worried about his mother, his tail curled around his body as he waited for Linnetstripe to call his name.
