In the Forest of wolfsbane two werewolf packs dwell. The first pack living in the East of the forest is known as The Nightshade Pack, Nightshade meaning The other pack, living in the West of the forest is known as The Druid Pack, Druid meaning "Strong Seers" For a long time you could say the two packs have lived in a sort of harmony. Neither communicated with the other, and a strong boundary marked it's way along the river running from the north to the south. Loyalty drives deep within the packs; a strong sense of pride comes with knowing you belong somewhere, and you are appreciated. For centuries the river has never been crossed and they have respected the others space. Other than a harsh glare or snarl from across the water nothing had ever come of it.

However. . .the Nightshade pack has raised a beautiful Alpha Female to rule over their pack. She is strong minded and powerful as comes with the title of alpha of the Nightshade pack. The Druid pack has also raised an alpha. . .an Alpha Male. he is is strong willed and is greatly in touch with the spirit world and the ancestors of the forest. Both alphas are fierce, and only look out for the well being of their families.

The current alphas of both packs have come to an agreement. Since the forest is becoming increasingly prone to mortal interference; paths are being carved for hikers and the like. It is no longer safe to continue on with this feud; besides with the merging of these two packs, they would create an unstoppable force. . . Right?

    Death. . .

    Romance. . .

    Betrayal. . .

    Loyalty. . .

Will this new pack be able to thrive?

Or will the loyalty that runs so deep tear them apart from the inside?

The Druid Pack - Brief Backround

The Druid Pack is one of the two werewolf packs that have called wolfs bane home for over 2,000 years. In comparison to regular wolves, in general werewolves are larger by all means. However compared to the Nightshade pack, Druid members are slimmer, and usually more agile. They don't use violence except as a last resort and this has always been their way since ancient times. The members are highly spiritual and the alpha has a connection with the ancestors that helps greatly in times of need. The meaning of Druid is "spiritual" and though some from Nightshade may be judgmental towards their ways, Druid has always seemed to do just fine in their ways of living. They will try reasoning, and persuasion before jumping into a fight. That is what they are taught growing up however, don't let this fool you they can be just as deadly when they want to be. Because of their heritage and way of life, Druid believes that their sins are washed away with each passing moon and celebrates this every month. Overall this pack is more laid back and calm, and enjoys the simple things in life - making them happier and a close family that is not to be messed with.

    Nightshade Pack - Brief Backround

Nightshade means "strong", and as if you couldn't tell the pack members tend to live up to that definition. As opposed to the Druid pack, the Nightshade pack is very indifferent towards the ancestors and the spirits. They don't believe in the prophecies and such that the Nightshade so deeply live upon. Size wise, in comparison these members are much larger and husky. They focus on muscle building from the time they are old enough to walk. By all means a fight with one from this pack is not easily won. Violence is often their first resort rather than the last and because of this it makes for an overall tense, on-edge atmosphere. With the merging of the packs - it should help teach them how to let loose a little more. For right now, they are all about business and don't believe in relaxation (or anything other than being on your highest alert at all times).

    Baeg-ya

Shifting his eyes from side to side as his dull yellow seemed to grow darker as a shadow cast across his visage the brutus made sure that they were no hostile movements made my anyone. Though his orbs squinted slightly or twitched at the sight of a Druid he kept his vision upon everyone with the same exact intent. There was to be no fights being made anywhere, the packs combining was a decision that even he was wavering on, but the Beta trusted his Alpha and so he followed in her footsteps. Ruffling his skull to rest his eyes Baeg-ya lowered his snout to point towards the terra where his talons were ripping at the shifting grass, his paws were tense and so was his whole frame as every sound caused him to jolt and flick his audits towards wherever the vocalization sourced from. The silence threaded through everyone's head, there was to be no actions resulting from anger, it didn't matter how much one origin pack mate despised the other. Though as the Beta huffed in slight annoyance at the whole scenario he decided to break the dull atmosphere and exchange words with the other Beta. He was not the only one anymore and to get used to that he needed some sort of bond or relationship. If he found that he couldn't trust this other than there would be no 'working together' for anything, if anything bad happened from this combining of packs then everyone would just stick to only listening to their own Alphas without a single care for the others.

"Greetings," thinking back to dig through his memory that canid wondered as to whether or not he had ever talked to the Beta female. He thought that her name was something that started with an 'E', but alas no matter how hard he lingered he wasn't able to come up with anything that sparked his memory. Seeing as he wasn't able to pick out any introductions the brute lowered his haunches upon the ground and wrapped his banner so that it was coiled around his appendages. "Quiet day so far," the response that would be given to the canine would determine what kind of wolf this other was, he didn't want to work with someone that would take no attempt to somewhat getting along. Flickering his gaze over to his Alpha before jerking his orbs back to who he was directing his words to a shudder rippled through his spine. It was risky to be the first to mingle within the now combined pack, they were now called the Espara pack, and before he took any course of action for the pack he had to remember that it was double its size.

//Sorry it's a bit short, my muse will prob come back home to me soon. "3

  • Eleanor Lillian Jones had been sitting quietly, watching amd observing. She had not expected anyone to come over and say anything to her, so the fact that the other Beta came over caused her to jump slightly. Her brain scrambling for words as she looked at the other canine. "Greetings." She replied, after a second and her brain was functioning once more. Everything and one seemed... well to her, going relatively smoothly. And she was hoping it would continue to do so, but who knows? As for the wolf beside her, she didn't dare try to pronounce his name for fear of pronouncing it wrong. She had heard his name, and stored it away but by now she couldn't tell of it was even the proper way to say it. So she stuck with nodding to his next words, "Yes, thankfully, but I'm sure you can feel the tension between the wolves." She didn't mean it in a bad way, but it was going to take time, even for her for everyone to get used to mingling together and not separately.

Ellie head was still on the fact she did not know how to pronounce his name and, thanks to her lovely ADD her filter for her words was not working at that time, "Can you say your name again for me, I would really rather not butcher it and make a fool of myself." The two wolves had spoken once before but it was extremely brief, like exchange of names and that was it, so she really didn't get a feel for the other Beta. She shifted where she sat slightly uneasy and she could feel her anxiety starting to grow at the fact that the other Beta might think she was incompetent for not remembering his name. Her mind already racing she watched him before glancing to her Alpha and over the pack before back to the canine she was talking to.

Ellie, in an attempt to keep the air between her and the other light, teased lightly, "We could always do some awkward ice breakers to get to know each other." She flashed toothy wolf smile towards him, as she tried to keep things light. Her ears flicking as she heard a few others start to talk to each other. She couldn't help the nervousness she had as she honestly was trying to not make an idiot of herself in front of the other Beta, let alone a Nightshade... okay former Nightshade. But either way she was terrified of making a wrong move, and forced herself to remain completely still, despite the urge to move, tap her tail, anything. In her human form she knew she would be playing with a hairtie or her hair right now to help her just remain relaxed and ease her nervousness and anxiety. But she forced herself to remain still.

Lyanna watched the interaction with curious eyes the Alpha wonder how the two betas

would interaction with each other would go see as two powerful once of rival packs

the she wolf signs before introducing herself "Please forgive my beta Baeg-ya

he's not good at breaking the ice she joked i'm Lyanna Nightshade" she said offering her

    hand for an handshake

  • Giving a brief huff by blowing through his incisors, the larger brutus cocked his skull side to side to stretch his muscles. He had no need to reply for the time being since his Alpha had come over at the scene of seeing two of different packs converse. Bunching his shoulders up so that he could revel in his wolf form for a moment more, the canid then lifted his frame upwards so that he was nearly balancing on his hind appendages and started to shift into his human form. His Alpha was walking on two legs, and therefore he would do so as well, it wasn't any type of obsession of loyalty that he had, it was just more that he felt his action of shifting would show some more respect.

"I'm not that bad," the Beta muttered under his breath as his bones finally mended into the right place. His long obsidian hair gently flowed down his back and his intricately designed jacket immediately covering his shoulders and arms. Placing one hand on his right hip so that his posture could seem more comfortable the Beta placed his gaze upon the other who he had first approached. A warm smile graced his visage as his eyes also curved to form to his muscles shifting. "Although as my Alpha has said, I am Baeg-ya, no matter to how it is pronounced."
