  • Marriage, something that Axel hadn't considered lightly. Would he really be able to do it? Would he really make a good husband? Yes, Isis was gorgeous and absolutely stunning in every way, but it only made him more nervous. What if he messed it up? Said it did the wrong thing. It was rare that the cyote found himself by the beech but here he was today, standing by the shore with ice cold water lapping gently at his paws and the breeze, which held the faint smell of salt, rustling his fur as the soft glow of the rising sun appeared over the horizon. Why had he come here? Oh yea, to think. He had heard that the beech was a good place to do this, and he could see why. It was peaceful. The canine closed his golden eyes and took a despicable breath, holding it for a moment then letting it go in a heavy sigh.

    He then turned, away from the water and begun digging in the sand. Did Isis like seashells? Maybe he could collect some and put them in a jar, tie a bow around it, present it to her as a gift along with one of those flowers that were growing in the bushes not too far away from here. It would look beautiful in her fur. That's what he thought anyways. Man, he hoped he would get this right. Honestly, he was just scared, scared she wouldn't like him and scared he wouldn't be able to make her happy. Oh god, he hoped he could make her happy.

  • JAELYNN;;

    Jaelynn could not have been more pleased to see the interactions between Isis and Axel. They both seemed rather smitten, even if nervous, but the Lady felt that the union would be a good one. Yes, the marriage was being done for political purposes, but perhaps they would learn to love one another. Hell, Jaelynn wasn't much of a fan of love herself, but she could get used to it if it meant the happiness of her son.

    Having spotted him upon the shore, Jaelynn would hesitate only a moment before her paws guided her closer. He seemed.... thoughtful, to say the least. Of course he would though. After all, he was a worrier of bringing pride to the Mallister family. And, with his recent promotion, Jae wished she could assure him that he would be deserving of her respect at any time. "What are you doing, Axel?" the figure would question, voice fond as she gazed curiously into the hole he was digging.

  • Kinleigh Stark

    Westeros.
    2 years old.
    Current body: Direwolf.
    Played by Frostsoul~

    Kinleigh had never falling in love...hell, she had never even been loved by her father. Her mother was long gone, her father dead, their relationship a shamble compared to his true love. He'd detested his children, even more so in the second litter. One could say that Kinleigh feared love. She'd never experienced the warm embrace of it...how could she know how wonderful it was?

    The wolf was walking the shore of the beach, thinking to herself that she was far behind on everything. She'd been gone due to sickness. A sickness that had ravaged her body - fevers so high she'd hallucinated. She'd seen her father again. In fact, if she'd been the religious type, she'd probably have said that she was on death's door and he was coming to greet her. But that was a load of bullarchy. He'd never come greet her. No, they were simple fever dreams.

    But she was better now. Still weak, shaky, and extremely thin. But she was better. The Maester's had granted her leave to wander as she used to. And that led her here. The female gazed at those that were gathering - one who appeared to be deep in though and one who was questioning him. Flicking an ear, she padded up softly. "Is everything okay?"

  • Love was a concept that didn't really exist in her world. She had so many other things to worry about other than such a frivolous feeling like love. But what really turned her away from it was the fact that to love someone, you would have to trust them. Katarina Bolton couldn't bring herself to trust anyone considering the way she grew up. Everything about her was secretive, hidden as it should be. And as of now, her life style fit her fine.

    Joining the small group at the beach, the pale feline would offer a nod of greeting to those present before shifting her attention to the young Mallister, awaiting their response to the questions posed by the other women.

  • Hearing voices prompted the cyote dog to glance upwards, a crowd had begun to form and apparently what he was doing had caught the attention of a few others. What was he doing and was he ok? Well, he supposed what he was doing was kind of, well, strange and he felt his cheeks beneath his fur grow hot in embarrassment to be caught in such an act as finding seashells "oh yea, I'm ok I was just uhm well" there was no use lying now, besides he couldn't lie, not to the clan mates who he held so dear and certainly not to his own mother. Besides, he was a horrible liar. "Isis lives in the desert and she hasn't ever been to the beech before and well I thought I could take her sometime give her some shells, which I was looking for right now then I was going to go pick those flowers over there to give to her" wow that was a long winded explanation but he hoped he didn't sound too childish or immature. Yea it was an arranged marriage but he wanted to be the best husband he could for Isis.

  • He was trying to woo a girl? The effort the male put into the explanation was already enough to show her how dedicated the young Mallister was to this femme in question. As for this Isis. She supposed they lived in Bloodclan, she couldn't recall any other clan that dwelt in the desert. But this arrangement was pretty good in her opinion. Bloodclan had always been an extremely close ally of theirs. "That sounds lovely," the feline would remark with a slight smile, "I'm sure she would love that. Perhaps, when she has time, you should invite her to visit Westeros and show her our beaches."
