    I sighed and shook my head. Poor pup. "Well, she's obviously a shapeshifter, so we should take her to the pack," I shrugged, crossing my arms and studying the younger shifter. What had happened to her parents? Did the hunters do it?

    Lolo nodded biting her lip a little anxiously as she held the pup close to her chest. She realised this was the first proper conversation she had been in with Mist and blushed again before nodding as she spoke. "I think so... I'm not sure... I... I... I just found her." her anxious stutter came back.

    Sovereign glanced around before struggling to her paws and balancing on all three she limped to a tree and lay down again. Her body protesting clearly as pain shot through her. The ebony head lay on her paws as she began to lick her fractured/broken paw quietly.

    I smiled at the shifter and dipped my head. "It's going to be okay, don't worry. We all know the Pack will take good care of her. Do you know, by chance, if she has a name?"

    I frowned at the comment. Who knew what that pup went through. "We should head back as quickly as possible; you haven't heard of the recent events."

    Lolo nodded gently rocking the pup as she followed Misty out of the pack house and towards the rest if the pack. She was walking in human form. Her proffered form. She offered her a smile before anxiously looking around.

    I had switched to my human form once I had come into town and I felt slow and big in this form. While I enjoyed my human form, my wolf form was a lot more easier to get around in. My eyes swept over the line of trees. I would lead to look for traps once we got into the forest.

    Lolo but her lip walking quickly and making her way further through the forest. She paid attention to her surroundings mailing sure she didn't hurt herself.

    We quickly made it out of sight of the camp and I slowed down just a little more and sniffed the air. While the smell of metal still filled the air, I couldn't tell if it was fresh or if it was from my encounter with the trap earlier. "Do you smell anything?" I asked Dawn, sniffing again.

    We padded towards the trees until we made it beyond the treeline. I looked around and then turned to Lolo. "Are you going to carry her in human or wolf form?" I asked.

    Finally I made it through the thick brush around camp and bounded over to the prey pile, where I set the rabbit then looked around for Midnight. The shifters were dispersed and I was afraid I made it too late. But, I head a familiar voice. Jumping up on one of the rocks, I looked around until I spotted the Alpha. I sighed and jumped back down, my ear flicking in annoyance as I made my way towards the she-wolf.

    Sovereign sighed as she licked her paw quietly. Her eyes closing as she let herself slip back into the nightmare ridden dreamscape, her eyes closed as she slept. Though her body twitched now and then as she relived her past.

    Vanessa Burton "Dawn"

    Dawn lifted her snout into the air and took a whiff of the air. A slight scent of metallic came to her, but it was faint. "I can smell some metal, but it's faint. So either it was moved from this surrounding area or it's a day old." Dawn spoke.

    Resika stays in her pup form,shaking ever so slightly. The scents and sights of two legs was overwhelming. She tried to shift again, but out of nerves looses a couple patches of fur all over her body. She almost looked like she had scratched it all off before it finally covered back up.

    "Already? This close to camp?" I sighed out loud, turning back to the woods to sniff again before tilting my head to the side. "Do they move the traps often, I wonder? How are we supposed to know where they are to avoid them?" I thought outloud, a hint of annoyance creeping into my tone. I shook my head and turned back to Dawn. "Come on, I'll show you were the trap I found is before we keep going. It's a little bit farther though."

    While waiting for Lolo to answer, my eyes again fell down to the poor pup. It hurt me to see one in this bad of condition, but sadly most of our backstories were similar to this pup's if not the exact same. It was definitely not easy to be a shifter, which this pup would learn extremely fast.

    I caught Midnight's attention from Bull and she looked annoyed as she turned to me, her body language screaming what now?! "I found a new shifter. She was moving around the camp, a little farther on the outskirts," I stated plainly, as if it wasn't a big deal. Her eyes grew wide, but she quickly regained her composure with a slight shake of her head.

    "Where is she now? Did you get anything from her?" she replied, ignoring the fact I left the meeting without being excused.

    "She's injured, I'm not exactly sure how. Her name is Sovereign and she is back in the forest waiting for you to come to her. She didn't seem happy about coming into camp," I explained, glancing at Bull as he waited for Midnight and I to stop talking.

    "Well... try to convince her to come to camp. Have Nymph at least take a look at the wound. Make sure she stays until I get back. Even if she doesn't want to join the pack, we need to get any information out of her. We have to find these traps as quickly as possible, so she has to wait just for a little while," the alpha replied. I growled in frustration, but nodded and turned and bounded back into the woods. Why did I have to fetch everything? "Make sure you are your happy self around her, not your usual self!" the alpha called after me. I turned my head t see her turn after the comment towards where her group would go.

    Sovereign slept on, her body twitching until she jolted upright, breathing heavily. Her eyes wild as she gazed around, wondering if her past had come back to haunt her. Her flanks were covered in sweat as the she-wolf shifter lay her head on her uninjured paw, trying to calm her racing heart.

    Res squirms again and howls hungrily, her stomach growling. She attempts to get free from lols arms. She manages to slip out of her arms. She beelines towards the camp, the scent of others drawing her in.

    Lolo looked towards Mist. An heartbeat passed. She looked down to see the pup rushing towards camp, she immediately shifted be for running towards her, not even able to answer Must. She caught her just in time.

    she kiyayed as the omegga picks her up. She growls as soon as her teeth grab her scruff and she whines. She looks up at the wolf that held her and yipped excitedly. Grown up meant food, she starts whinning and begging. "Please....food..." she wagged her tail excitedly,grown ups meant food.

    At the runaway pup, I couldn't help but smile as I also quickly shifted into my wolf form and bounded after the two. That was a pup for you. At her question of food, I leaned down. "We'll get to camp then you can have some food," I whispered so to not scare the poor thing.

    I quickly found Sovereign again and trotted up to the she-wolf. "New plans, the alpha can't come right now. I'm taking you to our healer to get that checked out," I stated, nodding my head at the injury.
