"You happen to be in our territory and we've never seen you before. Who are you?" I stated, narrowing my eyes. This wolf was not lucky. Out of all the nice wolves in the pack that could've found her, I was the one who had found her first. And I definately wasn't the nicest member of the pack.
Sovereign huddled on the ground. Her ears flattened to her head in fear as her body shook. "I I'm sovereign, a black wolf obviously." The ebony fae murmured softly.

"You're not just a wolf. You are a shifter, aren't you?" I asked, my head tilting to the side as I finally noticed the metallic smell of blood staining the air. My eyes lowered down to Sovereign's injury. That would need to be treated.
Sovereign lowered her head and nodded lightly and lowered her body to a crouch, ears flattened against her head. Her injured paw, swollen and throbbing made her stagger slightly

I sighed in frustration. Midnight would want to know about this she-wolf. And Nymph could help her wound heal. But with traps all around the territory and the slow pace Sovereign would only be able to move, the groups would be gone before we would get back. "You are coming back with me to the pack. Can you move?" I snapped, trying and failing to sound a touch gentler.
Sovereign hesitated slightly, her eyes fearful. As the voice snapped at her she instantly cowered back, whining softly in apology. "I-I'm sorry, I'll leave, please don't hurt me." She whimpered softly, eyes closing as she trembled.

I shook out my white fur as I calmed myself down. Obviously she didn't have bad intentions, even if she was trespassing. "I'm not going to hurt you. But can you walk? I need to take you back to my pack," I tried again, hoping this time I sounded at least half-way decent.
The young female hesitate and nodded uneasily. "Y-yeah, I can walk." She murmured, standing up and wavering slightly before taking a step forward. Her eyes were uneasy and scanning for any danger or sudden movement from Eclipse.

As I watched the female take a few steps forward, I sighed. Yes, it was going to take a while to make it back to camp. I trotted just a few steps ahead and started scanning the path back to camp for any signs of traps or other danger. If the hunters were smart, they would put traps on the most used paths.
The young female hesitated before she followed Eclipse uneasily. Her eyes flitting from side to side cautiously. As she noted him speeding up she instantly put speed into her paws, even though it hurt she wouldn't make him late. Sovereign knew what could happen if she took too long. It wasn't pretty and she wasn't going to risk it.

The sudden smell of rabbit hit my nose and my head jerked up and I scanned for it. Prey was pretty plentiful now a days, but the pack constantly always needed more. My right ear flicked backwards before angling forward again. A sudden thought came into my head. "Have you eaten recently?" I asked.
Sovereign was close to the male and she jumped into the air about 4 inches, her ears flattening as she gave a timid nod to show she had eaten. Maybe not too recently but oh well. "Y-Yes sir." she murmured softly, her eyes on the ground in front of her. She was nervous, jumpy and extremely scared at the moment. She should have known she would have been found out eventually, but this was ridiculous. She didn't trust the male, he had an attitude that was all to similar to her father and look what happened. She had scars and wounds that showed her past, not that scars were visible. Sovereign sighed as she paused and hesitantly spoke softly "I-I can stay here if you wish to hunt sir." she murmured, her eyes looking at the ground.

I nodded at Sovereign. "You need to rest for a minute anyway. I'll catch that rabbit and we'll keep going," I ordered, not waiting for her answer as I dove into the brush on the side of the little trail. The rabbit was close anyway, so it would only take a few minutes. She couldn't escape in that time.
Sovereign sighed but simply sat down, rasping her tongue over the wounded paw. Her eyes half closed as she waited for Eclipse to return.

I brought my nose to the air and sniffed again. It was surprising that the rabbit hadn't bolted yet. I crouched down as the smell grew stronger, making sure I was down wind of the rabbit.
Sovereign waited quietly.

AMBER FROST "FROST"
Frost edged her way quietly around camp, her paws aching for a good run. I should probably check in with Midnight first, see if she wants me to get anything done, the white wolf thought. Letting her nose trail up to the sky, Frost found herself locked onto Midnight's scent. As a female beta, it was her job to make sure the hunters were accounted for and that they were doing their job, so Frost quickly made a check around camp to see if any of the hunters were in good shape for a hunt.
