    Sovereign fought to get her paw free still, her eyes wide with alarm and fear as she scented the air to make sure she was alone. The ebony fae growled under h er breath as she yanked extremely hard to free her caught paw and it came loose with a loud 'Snap!'. The ebony female limped to one side, pain shooting through her paw each time she tried to set it down.

    Res started to lap up the milk quickly and chokes slightly. Her thirst soon slacken from the good milk. The sweet taste of the milk on my taste buds. She sighs satisfied with a full tummy of milk. She licks lols hand appreciatively, and affectionately.

    //Dang have I really been gone that long? I swear I check it everyday and the 1 day I don't check I have to read through like 50 posts. I don't have the time to do that, so could I have a recap?

    OOC: Brook found a trap and told the others at camp. Midnight is having a meeting and asked for 3 volunteers, one to lead a group to the north, one to lead to the south, and another to go into town in human form and see if they can find any information. Brook is going to lead a group to the eastern side and Midnight is going to lead one to the western side. Sovereign is currently moving through the territory. Lolo found Resika and took her to the Pack House. Did I miss anything else, guys?

    I nodded to Jay. "Thank you. Would you mind actually taking the lead for one of them?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at the minimal volunteers. I would start having to force others to join the groups if more didn't. The Mothers were at camp and I knew Willow would stay behind due to her horrible reaction to traps. No one else really needed to. I glanced over at the omegas, would would be forced to join first due to the fact that was their entire job was to practically volunteer. All we really needed was two wolves (including the leader of the group), to go. Two minds were better than one and they could be helped by the group member if something happened.

    I crashed through the forest until I arrived at camp, skidding out. Midnight shot me a quick glare before turning back to whatever everyone was having a meeting about. I perked up my ear and moved forward, listening to what they were saying. Volunteers? To look for traps? Did someone find another one? I'd be willing to join a group.

    I noticed suddenly there was quite a big chunk of members not here. While a couple of them could've turned in early and returned to town to sleep, I didn't think all would. Especially before reports were given. My mind instantly ran through horrible scenarios, which I quickly shook away. Traps couldn't have caught all of them... right?

    Mother

    The sun had dipped below the horizon at the start of the meeting and disappeared. My wolf eyes had adjusted to the limited light immediately and I looked around. The silver glint of traps would be easily recognizable, but it would still be dangerous to look for them now. It was Sophie's bedtime, so I reluctantly stood and nudged her towards the Pup/Mother den.

    Pup

    "Aww, Mom!" I barked. She shushed me quietly and I growled as I was herded over to the den. I admittedly had more problems than usual with shifting randomly, so I could rarely go into town. Mom loved being a human (strangely) and I felt bad sometimes about how she stayed with me all the time when she would love to go into town. She promised me to take me into town when I got my wolf name however, so that was an added bonus on my Promotion Day.

    Elite

    I heard a sharp yelp from somewhere near the camp and my eyes flashed as my head whipped around. That didn't sound like someone familiar. While I already didn't want to go with one of the groups, this gave me a perfect excuse to slip out. My footsteps were quiet as I headed towards the location of the noise. My nostrils flared as I smelled shifter, but not a familiar one.

    Sovereign licked her paw quietly as she tested it again, flinching at he pain through her paw. Her ears flicked up, something wasn't right at the moment. Her eyes scanned her surroundings uneasily, turquoise orbs afraid. The ebony fae limped to the side. Making sure to hide herself in the shadows, as an omega she needed to be careful.


    Her eyes stopped near the camp and she glanced around. Her scent! She forgot to hide it! The ebony fae swiftly crouched lopsidedly and began to roll in the ferns and mud, hoping to cover her scent somewhat. Sovereign stood up carefully, checking for anyone as she limped towards her den, body swaying slightly as she felt light headed.


    Sovereign wasn't going to risk her human though. The ebony wolf promised her partner she would protect her and look what happened at the old pack. Sovereign wouldn't let Rhawein be caught again, not after her past. Turquoise eyes closed as she lifted her head, smelling the air uneasily. There was someone approaching which meant that she needed to move and quickly.

    Willow sat down in the middle of camp and glanced around at the volunteers that were gathered. She drew a breath as she tried to still her racing heart. You aren't near them, and they aren't near you, she reminded herself, trying to prevent any panic from rising. Had she gotten to the point that she couldn't even think of traps? She sat up straighter and shook out her fur as she attempted to relax. There was no point in getting worked up over nothing right now. She was safe in camp and that's what she needed to remember.

    (there are traps out in the packs territory and there's been volunteers to make rounds for new traps. My wolf pup who is super young was found by an omegga called lols. Her father died due to famine and her siblings. Her mother was then killed by a poacher for her fur. Which left her to wander the woods and she shifted for the first time with lols.)

    Lolo gave a soft grin, gently letting her on her back before asking her to shift so she could show the pack. She bit her lip, looking around to see if anyone were there. She hopes they were... but she hoped it was an omega she knew. If anything, she only spoke a little to Cole out of her pack. She didn't speak to many. And maybe he'd be able to help... she didn't know where he was but she has to find him.

    "I wouldn't mind leading at all Midnight." Jay barked standing. The male glanced back at Dawn staring at her a second before turning back to Midnight.

    "I'll join you to go into town." Dawn spoke from the back. She honestly was tired, but her pack came first before her needs. I haven't been human for almost a week now. Dawn told herself.

    Nyx had been sitting silentky in the front of the gathered group, her small paws shifted from time as she grew impatient. They needed to move off soon, they couldn't waste time. The small female stood up then and began to move around, her tail twitching ever so slightly to show her annoyance. Nyx was going to join Jay's group, the brown female was sure Midnight would be fine leading her own group and she was certain Brook could handle even the rowdiest members but Nyx had her doubts about Jay.

    Nymph had been sitting quietly watching Midnight sort out the groups, she needed to know how many members were going before she could leave, just to make sure she had enough supplies if anyone was to get hurt.... or the whole plan to fall apart. The young healer had her doubts about this plan and didn't think it was a smart move on Midnight's part but she refrained from arguing with her alpha unless it had to do with her health.

    Myron turned to glance at Dawn, his soft brown eyes scanned her tired features and he gave a small shake of his head, coming out from behind the group in his human form, which he seemed to be in more than his wolf form these days, he stared at Dream and smiled. "I'll go into town instead, I know it better than most, we wont cover much ground if someone looks in the wrong place". Myron did not intend to come off as rude nor cocky but his words were true and most of the pack knew of his human wanderings into town. At just nineteen he had been in his human form longer than even Archie. The brunette waited patiently for Midnight's response, he did not glance back at Dawn again but hoped that she wasn't angry with him.

    The excited young boy had been playing in his room for awhile now and had long since grown bored of the picture book he and his mother were reading at the moment. Elijah crawled towards some of the big lego blocks and, instead of trying to connect the large piece to another, the pup opted to stick it in his mouth and began to gnaw on it.



    Archie Bulsbrooke

    The heavyset white wolf had been quiet the whole meeting, bar some low grunts or growls to show his discomfort. Bull wasn't comfortable with this plan and would've outright said it to Midnight, if the rest of the pack weren't around them. His golden eyes shifted to find Willow, when his hard gaze finally located the female wolf it softened, he had an understanding with the younger female - both had lost a loved one to the hunters traps. Bull's body grew rigid and his eyes seemed to glaze over as his mind played over images of his beautiful mate, her bright smile, her dimpled laugh, the squint in her eye when she laughed too loud. Bull quickly got onto his paws and almost tumbled over because of how quickly he stood up, he shook his neck fur and moved away from the group of volunteers, needing to clear his head before he joined Midnight's group.



    Armani Kaleido

    Kale watched the group of volunteers from his place in camp, his stance was lazy and his eyes were clearly disinterested. This pack wasn't his home nor his family, but the hunters incinerated his birth pack, killing his family and completely destroying his home. Kale knew the pack had accepted him, or well Midnight had, but it didn't make Kale happy to be here.

    Vanessa Burton "Dawn"

    Dawn heard Myron's comment and held back a low growl. She was torn from being angry at the comment, but she was also a bit glad if Midnight took other pack members then her along.

    Res shifted as she was placed on lols back. Her tiny frame clinging to the omegga in the new surroundings. Her heart raced slightly,she was nervous and a little scared. In her human child form she whined,her speech having been limited to the one word she sort of understood.

    "Thank you, Jay," I barked, nodding to the wolf before listening to the others. Dawn volunteered to go into town, but Miles wanted to go in her place. "Very well, Miles. As long as Dawn agrees," I stated, looking to the she-wolf for confirmation. I sniffed the air, the scent of incoming rain heavy in the air. While it would not be a good idea to look for traps in the dark even despite the excellent wolf vision, they would be easier to see since the metal seemed to shine at night. And rain was to come tomorrow. The scent of the metal would be all but washed away as long as it was wet and then how was I supposed to expect the Hunters and Fighters to do their job with traps all around the territory? And who knew how long the rain would last... around here it would usually last for several weeks before we had a few months of sun again.

    I listened quietly, narrowing my eyes at the Alpha's planning. While I trusted Midnight, I believed her plan had a lot of ways to go wrong. But, I knew that if we didn't look for the traps, we might find someone dead in them pretty soon.

    I tilted my head to the side as I listened. A lot more volunteers started finally appearing. That was good and bad: the more wolves we had out looking for traps, the better chance we had of finding all of them. The more chances we had of someone getting caught in one as well.

    Mother

    Once I had pushed the disappointed pup into the den and made sure she was comfortable, I stood and shook my head. Maybe once everyone left for the groups, I could see if Nymph needed any help with medical supplies. "Go to sleep, Soph. I have to go help with something, but I'll be back after that," I whispered. The pup just yawned and curled up. I smiled and turned, exiting the den and making my way back over to the gathering.

    Pup

    After Mom had left, I opened an eye to make sure no one was around before jumping out of my bed and slinking into the shadows at the entrance so I could keep listening to the meeting. I wanted to be included too!

    I sniffed the air as I approached the spot I had heard the yelp and to my annoyance, the smell had grown fainter. Either the shifter had ran away after the noise or they were smart enough to cover their scent and keep going. I took another sniff to a deep hole in the ground, big enough to catch a paw in it and maybe even do some damage. The smell still lingered and I once again sniffed the air. I could kinda see the direction the shifter had went so I began following.

    Vanessa Burton "Dawn"

    Dawn sighed and looked at Midnight. " I don't mind." She mumbled, "but could I go with Brook?" She questioned. She thought of going with Jay's group, but that wasn't necessary.

    Jay happily sat down and waited for orders on when they could start heading out.

    "Yes," I barked, turning to Brook and eyeing the Hunter to make sure she caught that. Once she was sure the she-wolf did, I turned back to the group.

    "So, we have me leading a group to the west, Brook leading a Group to the east, Jay will be leading one to the north, and Miles will be going into the town to look for information about the hunters or traps. We still need someone to lead a group to the south and at least one wolf in every group not counting the leader. If you are thinking about joining one of the groups or leading one and haven't yet, speak now," I addressed them, looking around at the gathered wolves.

    Sovereign huffed as she tried to make her way to her den. Her paw steps uneven as she made her way through the trees. Her paw hurt with each step and her gorgeous fur was stained crimson though it glistened instead of showing color as she fought for balance. As she turned she came face to face with a shifter and she blinked in surprise and fear

    "Who are you?" I growled, examining the she-wolf. I was surprised we hadn't known about this shifter because we were usually pretty fast in finding them. Midnight and I had literally checked the entire town today for any signs of a shifter. Unless... this shifter came from somewhere outside our territory? Or even from the city right next to where our territory lay?

    Sovereign flinched at the accusing tone from the male and she shied away. She shifted and growled softly. She didn't like the fact she had run right into the male. Her tail tucked under and she whined softly, playing dumb for a few seconds. "What are you talking about? " she whined softly in fear. Her injured paw was held off the ground.
