She gave a nod. That was simple enough. It'd be good exercise too. "Are we going to wait for anyone else?" She asked, seeing that the cub was preparing to sprint so she did the same.

"IT IS THE END OF ALL HOPE"
The cub grinned for a brief second. "Nah. If they want to join later, we can have another race." He offered with a wave of his paw before wiggling his haunches a bit. He was ready to bolt off. "On your mark. Get set. Go." He called and on go, he darted forward.

She have a nod of understanding, preparing to run. She decided to have the tactic of a hunter's crouch, allowing her to leap far before running. Maybe it would help, maybe it wouldn't. She hadn't raced in a while so she wasn't sure about the fastest speeds of her clanmates. Then seph called to go, and she sprang, making her way into the forest but making sure to stay with the others. That's what mothers did with children, and afterall she had the advantage of longer legs.
Spellpaw wasn't the athletic type, so he didn't mind that the others had already started the race. Content to watch, the apprentice would take a seat a safe distance away. All three of the participants looked familiar to Spell, but one stood out the most. "Go, Blaze!" the tabby called out, flashing the leader a playful grin.
— SPARKKIT
"Yay! Go Blaze! Go Blaze!" Sparkkit zipped around Spellpaw, her fur buzzing with electricity. A wide grin stretched across her maw, and her sapphire orbs glimmered with excitement. Originally, she was going to compete, but when she saw the apprentice cheering from the sidelines, she decided to take up a cheerleader role instead, so she could watch the game and cheer her head off. What could be better?
Oops. Etherealpaw had completely zoned out and was lost in thought, probably thinking about how pretty the sky was because her chin was pointed upwards with her intense eyes straining to make out something in the clouds. Therefore she jolted a little at the sound of Seph's 'Go!' And giggling a little she would chase after her two opponents, not really caring whether or not she won or not. "My bad!" She squeaked as she bounded after them on clumsy feet.
