  • Fadingmoon

    BlizzardClan Deputy.
    9 months old.
    Current body: Domestic feline.
    Art done by Desmond.
    Played by Frostsoul~

Fadingmoon lifted her head as she heard the familiar call to a meeting. She wasn't really feeling like participating in Clan events, but knew that she had a position to uphold. That meant she'd have to make her presence known around the Clan. The feline slowly rose to her paws and padded outside of her hut, taking a seat rather close to it. It was apparent she didn't want to socialize much.

  • / I guess retro to the sad thread as well lmao, and lazy af

Sheesh, he couldn't remember ever being late to a meeting. He hadn't exactly constructed a proper excuse yet, but Beck still slipped into the crowd, finding a spot next to Ska'arq. Attending parties were really his forte, so he ignored the invites for now as he tuned in for the rest of the annoucements.

  • THE ODDS ARE STARTING TO STACK AGAINST ME

Meetings. Imperia wondered what the word made everyone else feel. Excitement. Anticipation, mayhap. For the she-wolf, her feelings resembled that of fear, no, dread. Each new meeting was simply a reassurance that she had not disappointed everyone in the clan, especially Iselotta and Sweetophelia. After the attack on the tundra island, her wounds prevented the girl from socializing as much as she would have liked; it was too painful and too draining. Not to mention that she was chagrin to let people see how ugly she looked with all the scars and missing appendages. What kind of wolf did not have a tail? The stub was so ugly--she hated looking at it and did not wish for anyone else to have to see such a terrible thing. However, it was not something that Imperia could easily reverse. All she could do was tie a satin ribbon around the stub and hope that nobody stared. Become invisible. Head down, gaze lowered, keeping a low profile. The slender huntress healer slunk through the crowds, hoping not to draw any unwanted attention to herself. The most desired outcome was no mention of her name at all. That would great.

  • Luckily for him, Rajahcrowns hadn't been busy when he heard Sweetophelia call the clan together for a meeting. This was a new concept to him, and would be his very first meeting to attend. What we're meetings like, even? Well, surely he was just about to find out. Lifting his head as he wandered over to where everyone was gathered, the large tiger heaved a deep, but hardly noticeable, sigh. There were many in attendance, pretty much all of BlizzardClan. He wasn't exactly a crowd lover, but he supposed he'd have to deal. And so he seated himself down and pinned his gaze upon the leader, waiting to hear what else would be announced.

  • Witchcraft was next to approach. Despite no longer being mentored by Sweetophelia, he still idolized her to an extent; he wanted to be just like her when he grew up. The little stubby-tailed male made his way over, his eyes searching the crowd and deciding to sit next to Beck, yawning.

  • Though slightly more late than the Leopard usually attempted, but with a smile, the Head MEdic would weave her way into the crowd and take a place besides Imperia, sparing her Trainee a little smile before she turned her gaze up, awaiting the announcements that were to come.

  • The call to a meeting is what brought Sugarpop over. She hadn't been to a meeting before, so she figured she might as well join in on this one. What exactly did meetings discuss, again? She was new to this whole clan-business. But she guessed there was no better way to figure this out than actually showing up.

The bobcat would approach next, charcoal brown eyes shadowed with light worry. He knew he had been rather inactive as of lately, and hoped there was no bad news to hear, for him or anyone else. His gaze turned to the leader with respect dancing in it. She seemed to do well despite animals flooding in like water, never ending and always coming. The feline doubted he'd be able to handle it. Hopefully more animals brought more good news.

    AND YOU MAKE YOURSELF ANOTHER

"Ska'arq, Iselotta, Imperia - I'd like to see you all around camp more often," Sweetophelia said first. There were no demotions this week and she was glad for that, but there were moments when a demotion was necessary. None of the three required such measures yet however and she was confident in their abilities to bounce back.

"I'd like to extend a quick shout-out to Rick - keep it up." Smiling now as she moved onto lighter topics, the lioness continued, "Emmaline, Chester, Natasha, and Andraste are all free to step up to Paladin Trainees if they accept." All four were relatively newer members but all did their part for the good of the clan fairly and so were deserving of an elevation in rank.

"Pierce, Mieczyslaw, Jacob, and Jerseyboy all get shout-outs; thanks for being consistent." As per usual, it was the familiar names repeated week after week. "Jacob, I'd also like to offer to you the Mage title for your months of character development and meaningful interaction with your clanmates." Pausing for only a brief moment, she continued on, "Abraham, you may step up as a full member of the Paladin team if you wish. And, Beck you may step up as our third Paladin Commander. Meeting dismissed."

  • As usual, Sweet started off with the less positive news. There were no demotions, which was good, but a couple warnings - all of which were well-earned, of course. He did hope the three of them would pick up activity, though - he'd be upset to see anyone demoted. Next, was a shoutout to Rick, who did unease the serval a bit, and a couple promotions to Paladin Trainee. His ears perked forward a bit more as he and a few of his clanmates also received shoutouts, and a pleasant smile brightened up his features. A title, and then- a promotion to Paladin Commander for Beck? Whoa. Pierce couldn't help but think of the time his clanmate had humiliated him with the paint in front of his two friends, but it was all in good fun, right? Anyway, they had gotten paint on them too. Plus, his promotion might be good for him. Who knew - maybe it would help him mature a bit. "Thank you, Sweet, and- ah, noted! Congratulations, everyone, especially Beck!" Everyone was doing such a good job!

Oh. Ska'arq couldn't help but flinch when he was the first name called out as Sweetophelia continued her announcements. A warning? Yeah... He'd been expecting one for the past three meetings. Honestly, he was surprised he hadn't gotten one sooner. With a sheepish, apologetic grin up at his leader, he was silent until she finished speaking. His eyes widened as Beck was promoted. A genuine smile split his maw, and he all but pounced on the small ghost next to him, sweeping the feline off his feet as he held him at eye level. "Beck! Did you hear that? Beck, you were promoted!" He himself didn't care about rising the ranks, but he was ecstatic that his friend was. It was incredible!

ATTACK IN BOLD #6e65b5 - TAGS - EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD

  • abraham lifted his head at the mention of his son's name. so now his son was a paladin trainee? the brown tabby let out a purr of something that could only be described as pride. but then his eyes slightly widened at his own promotion. full paladin? that was interesting. "thank you. and congrats to those with promotions and shoutouts." was all he said, not willing to bask too much in his own pride.

  • ★ ★ ★ Natasha nodded along absentmindedly as Sweet spoke, her ears perking when her name was mentioned. She was promoted- it seemed a bit odd, considering she was pretty new to Blizzardclan, but the leopardess certainly didn't mind. "Thank you. And, ah, congratulations to everyone with shoutouts and promotions." She assumed that this was what you said after the rank changes had been announced; everyone else was saying it, so hopefully she wasn't doing something wrong.

    I CAN'T FEEL A THING !

  • Lottie nodded understandingly as her name was called for a warning. it was true she hadn't been able to put forth the usual amount of effort. Even if she was busy, it was really no excuse. She'd just have to try harder in the next coming week or two. "Congratulations everyone!" she would call with a warm smile still lighting up her face. Despite it all, they had all acomplished much this week, and for that, Lottie was proud of them.

  • Oh he'd heard his name alright, and now he didn't know what to feel. Pride at being better than everyone else? Or fear of thecoming responsibilty. Silly as it was, after 529 years of being trapped as a dead kid, Beck didn't want to grow up. But he was quite literally lifted from his thoughts as Ska'arq hoisted him up to congratulate him. Even Pierce mentioned him. "Heh, t-thanks, guys. Um. Congrats to everyone else?" Devil, why was he so nervous? Everyone was happy for him, but Beck himself? He was supposed to be happy as well, but his mind couldn't process so many people excited for him. It had been forced into his brain that a positive reaction meant deception, and now he was confused as all hell. "I need a moment, or somethin'..." the boy continued to ramble, now squirming from the dragon's grasp. With that, he turned on his heel and pushed his way out of the cheering crowd, needing to find a quiet place to think for a while.

  • Chesspieces was a little surprised when Sweetophelia had mentioned his name in the list of promotions. Chesspieces didn't know one thing about being anything but a warrior. Did this mean he had more responsibilities other than doing what he wanted? The white tom was nearly going into panic mode before the congratulations of his clanmates began to sink into his ears. His mutlicolored irises turned to and fro, taking in all the news that had been given and finally, he settled down. Perhaps this was a good thing. "Thank you." Chesspieces purred, accepting the new rank with a sense of pride.

  • ★ ★ ★a promotion? well, that was something that emmaline was not expecting. a bright smile spread across her face, similar to the one she wore when she was reunited with her sister. pure glee. being her ambitious self, it felt great to have a title, despite being so new to the group. she dipped her head in thanks, and chimed, "thank you, and big congratulations to everyone!"

    "Speech."

Jacob would listen quietly as Sweetophelia when she went through the announcements in the usual order, a smile coming to his face when he heard his own name as well as names of his friends. "Thank you! Congrats ta' everyone else too!" The boy would call, his tail swishing slightly behind him.

  • First off were the warnings, which he all could agree on, though he didn't necessarily like. Ska'arq, he could care less about, but the other two were his friends. Well, he couldn't really say about Imperia. He did care about her, though he couldn't say that she felt the same. Next, Emmaline, Chester, Natasha, and Andraste were promoted to paladin trainees. Jersey offered a glance towards the new additions to the team. So, he was technically their boss now? Cool. That meant that he actually had to get off his ass and do things once in a while.

He perked an ear when his name was mentioned in the batch of shoutouts. Jerseyboy could appreciate it, even though he couldn't care less if he was acknowledged or not. His green eyes gleamed as Jacob was awarded a title. Good for the kid, he supposed. He had received the title of the same name, but perhaps Jacob would be more enthusiastic about it than he was.

Next was a full promotion to the paladin team- Abraham. Only one promotion? Well, he supposed that was it, then. No complaints. Well, not until Sweetophelia announced the last promotion: Beck. Paladin commander. Jesus Christ, what? He'd have to work with him now? Jerseyboy knew that the ghost kid was active and around, though that meant pulling pranks on people and starting shit with everyone. Though, he supposed if his own ass could earn a high position, so could anyone. Though, he couldn't help but let a huff of air leave his maw. Jesus Christ, Sweet. What are you thinking? Jersey figured that they wouldn't be working together too often, though, so that was alright. It wasn't like he worked with Aleksei all that often, either. If he just avoided him, then maybe he wouldn't lose his cool.

Aleksei made a small grunt as he accepted his brother's greeting. No sooner than that happened, it seemed that the announcements had begun. It seemed like the usual, though the most notable thing was that Beck was made paladin commander, too. His eye slid over towards the feline for a moment before they went back towards his brother as if inquiring if they should leave or not.
