"She can't use the powers moron!!" Eli called from the kitchen, "She can only use them if its a dire life situation. She used to be able to use those powers, but very rarely. She's losing the powers and becoming human. Had you stayed long enough to listen instead of being an ass you would've known that." Eli said with a frown

"Hey...she's the one who flew off in a rage..I just said I didn't like her but she didn't let me finish!" he protests "Listen I'm sorry she's losing her power and such but she can at least be patient with me too instead of just storming off" he snaps, flashing into the tv
-
Eli went in as a violently clutching being, "Then don't just tell her you don't like her! She's been trying for years to have someone to love her but they all leave her before she has a chance to go on the first date with anyone. Look, go talk to her and you'll see what I mean." Eli flashed out, obviously annoyed
-
Jacob watches Eli unfazed by the humans actions but takes his words in a count "She better be worth it.." the demon flashes to closes to where Mars was, popping out a flash 'Damn!" he curses, landing on his ass. He looks aorund for Mars as he stood up
-
Mars heard the pop and sighed a little. The wings were behind her and twitching, they looked very painful as they seemed to be badly broken and ripped, the webbing ripped from flying. She looked at him, a painted look as she held back screams of pain
-
Jacob stood up, jumping around for a few moment "Geez..never doing that again..damn bulbs" he mutters spotting Mars from her high stress levels. He walks over "Sorry for being an ass..." he runs his foot on the ground "What wrong with your wings?"
-
"They get worse when I use them." She said before she stood up, ripping them off without screaming and throwing them on the ground. They withered in seconds and nothing was left, she sat back down, tears in her eyes, "Your the first to even ask." She said quietly
-
Jacob bites his lips seeing her tear them off and throw them to the ground "Why?" he questions stepping closer after her wing withered away
-
"I've never been good enough for people. I'm too short, I'm too calm, I'm too autumn. I'm always too pathetic or wrong. And the wings are because I cant keep them on or they hurt more." She sighed, pulling her legs up and hugging them, looking out on the city with her tired green eyes
-
Jacob sat down beside her, his legs hanging off the edge "I could use someone like you" he admits quietly as he looked at the city as well. "I'm too loud, too quick to judge, only see what I want not need.." he shrugs 'We all got flaws..."
-
"'I myself am entirely made of flaws, stitched together with good intentions.' I don't know who wrote that, but they were smart." She sighed softly, "Guess its just another joy of being a living thing."
-
"What? Dealing with your flaws or finding someone to mend them while you mend theirs?" he asks glancing to her
-
"Tryong to fix someone else's when you know they won't fix yours." She answered quietly, a tear ran down her face but only one, she didn't want Jacob to see that and leave her like all the others
-
Jacob frowns moving his tail around her waist to draw her close to him as he picked up her emotional signals "Mars..you gotta trust me"
-
"It you came back that's already rwason enough to trust you." She said quietly, turning her head to face him
-
He smiles at her 'Good...now can I trust you" he flicks his black ears
-
Mars raised a brow, "What do you mean by that?" She asked quietly, still hugging her legs as the only thing to hug at the moment
-
"I mean..you won't run off again or lie to my face" he says "That's the first level of trust...i guess" he shrugs reading off the a website in his computer data base
-
"The first level is knowing they won't betray you. That is part of it." She shrugged, looking worn and tired now, finally knowing someone is trying made her feel better
-
"Want me to take you back to your place or we can go to mine.." he suggests seeing she was looking sleepy or worn out
