Was the child sleeping? Casting Leopold an idle glance, Lucerys supposed that he was and refrained from approaching him for the time being. Leopold looked so peaceful asleep, and the Lord of Dragonstone didn't particularly deign to entertain a child anyhow.
"You think he's dead?" The pale femme would sidle up to the Targaryen Warden and whispered her question to the male. The sun was out and it was bright, her eyes could barely handle the light as she was supposedly a creature of the night. With that said, it was hard for her to see anything in the daylight unless she was close. However, the child laid in the distance, way too far for her to decipher their status. Would she care if they were dead? A little bit. She wasn't emotionally invested in the kid since she barely knew them but losing Leopold was like losing a huge bargaining chip.

The child would open his eyes at a voice and blink. Head turning to see the duo and then tilting. "N.. Not dead." she replied with a shaky yet amused voice. He was getting better at his talking, it seem.

"I believe if he had been dead lying in this heat would have attracted flies." Her deep feminine tones rang out as she made her way over to see what the fuss was all about. After all her soon to be husband was there and she was keen on being seen with him. It kept others from....looking. her head was held up high as she looked at the young dog with a curious going in them. "What are you doing out here by yourself?"
Lucerys blinked, surprised by Antoinette's sudden approach and whispered words. He had seen her whispering to Varick before. Somewhat discomforted, the Targaryen male broke away, his attention turning onto Leopold just as the child spoke up and Alfeynnah walked in. Regardless of Antoinette's innocent intentions, he felt almost as if he had to justify himself but nevertheless he remained firmly planted where he stood. "Glad you're not dead," Lucerys settled eventually, voice gruff but not hostile. He didn't have much else to offer by way of words and simply waited to hear Leopold's response to his betrothed's inquiry.

How many people had been born, or joined, while she was sick? Far too many. She felt so behind. But she at least knew Lucerys and Alfeynnah. Approaching on weak legs, the Stark would offer a small smile and a dip of her head. Bother. Interacting was hard enough without being gone so long. Would they hate her now? "It would be a poor day to die," she commented lightly. But...would any day be good to die?
Not dead? Then why was he lying there? And what the Lady Targaryen said was true enough. However, the reaction that took the cake was Lucerys Targaryen's. The male pulled away after she uttered her question and she couldn't help but find it amusing. Hiding a smirk, she shifted her attention to the wolf that she was unfamiliar with. A Stark perhaps? Starks preferred those bodies after all. However, the subject of her attention shifted once more when the child spoke again. "What attack?" Antoinette queried, her interest piqued once more.
"The Sanctum is a dying group," Lucerys remarked, unconcerned. "Whoever your attacker was, I doubt they'll return and if they do and we catch them - well." Lucerys didn't imagine it would be advisable to describe gore to a child as young as Leopold. "Can you try eating something non-meat?"

Kinleigh blinked as the pup admitted to having problems eating meat. Why was that? A problem swallowing? Or a psychological problem? "What if you ground the meat up?"

"THEY'LL FIND YOU, BURN YOU"
The pup shook his head and offered a soft frown. "I get s.. sick when I eat. N.. No matter w.. what it is. M.. Meats, f.. fruits.. anything." He was almost sure he was dying. The words of comfort about his attacker was enough to make him smile faintly though. "Th.. they better not." He agreed with a nod.

A vampire. It had to be. Antoinette was one herself so it was only made sense that she could immediately identify it. "You have to drink blood for now on, nothing else would fill you up," the pale canine would remark with a slight smile, "you're a vampire now." Well, perhaps her first statement was wrong. Blood was a main factor of her diet but she could also still enjoy wine. "Come with me, I'll get you something to drink."
Offering the child an encouraging smile, the pale canine would head off towards the small town nearby. After purchasing a chicken, Antoinette would strangle the small bird until it stopped moving before ripping a small patch of it's body to be feather free. "Here," she then offered the now freshly killed bird to the child, "just bite and suck."
JAELYNN;;
Vampires? Well that was an incredibly interesting thing, to say the very least. Jaelynn had heard of such things once upon a time, though it had been so very long ago since she had last heard anything of the sort. So, curious, the ivory beast would prowl over, a curious expression upon her muzzle. "Have you noticed any other changes?" the wolf would question, muzzle titling curiously to the side.

one final stand
He was almost frightened by the words she said. Looking at the chicken and then sinking his teeth into the thing. It was only moments later that he tasted the blood on his tongue. Eagerly draining the thing before him and then letting go. Dull red eyes becoming bright once more. The aches and pains gone. "T.. Thank you. I owe y.. you." He offered with a dip of his head.
Than another voice made his head lift and his eyes flicked to the other. Tail tucking under him and his mind racing. "M.. My breathing. It h.. has st.. topped." He admits with a nervous nod. That was one thing he had noticed. Though he forced himself to breath out of habit.

She was rather amused by how hesitant the child was but that was the general normal reaction from children if they were turned right? "You don't owe me anything," the femme would offer a kind smile before taking note of the other symptoms. Oh yes, the breathing. It was one she often forget herself since she still liked to use her own lungs. "Also, it depends on your body and how it reacts to vampirism but you might stop aging, you might be stuck in a child's body forever," the shaytanin would warn but then added, "unless you have shapeshifting powers."
