  • Bearstorm stopped at what he believed to be the border, sniffing it with interest. He had heard quite a lot of things about Windclan, and it sounded like a possible home. A place he could be his own self, without having to worry about bullies. And, also important, maybe they could offer him a goal. A target. Something to work and even fight for. He had never had such a thing before... And it was something he missed. He sighed, wondering if this was really such a good idea. He really hoped it was, as he could use some positive feelings. "HELLOOOOOOO?!", the male had an incredibly loud voice, something they surely knew by now.

    And then the maine coon waited. He could feels his muscles stiffen, just to make sure he'd be able to react if the Windclanners decided to be agressive. He didn't think they would attack him, but he'd rather be safe than sorry. He'd always been a cautious one.

  • bumblefoot ○ ○ ○

    Bumblefoot was startled at the exceedingly loud voice, and startled the small mouse he had spotted away. He spat and lashed his tail - he finally could have caught something for their starving clan! "What idiot is yelling when there are cats hunting?" He said grumpily, rounding to fine a maine coon waiting on the border.

    "Who in the heck are you?" He asked in surprise.

  • /welcome to windclan!!

    spiderpaw had been off hunting by himself, and had been stalking a small vole, when a loud voice startled the creature, sending it running into a nearby hole in the ground. spiderpaw, desperate to catch some prey, ran to the burrow and attempted to dig it out frantically, but it was no use. the vole had escaped him, and it was gone. the tom was so disappointed in himself. this famine had taken a toll on the clan, and he had been so excited to find a vole.

    spidey let out a frustrated sigh and shrugged his shoulders. oh, well, might as well go and see what that sound had been. he made his way toward the border, and noticed a maine coon who seemed to be waiting there. spiderpaw walked over and sat down close to the border, studying the seemingly tense tom. he greeted his father with a wave of his tail.

    "hello, what's your...uh, business here?" the tabby spoke finally. he wasn't sure how to address this newcomer, so he awkwardly shuffled his paws and waited for a response.

    /ninja'd

  • ☄ ----~ //bumble is the ninja king i swear - ALSO WELCOME TO THE WINDFAM BEAR!!

    Zephyrbee, having been on patrol with the medicine cat - how desperate were they that even the medicine cat had to be sent hunting as well? - when he perked his ears to a loud yowl. Coming over quickly towards the action, he arrived just in time to hear Bumble grumpily confronting the stranger - who was possibly about three times his height! Quickening his pace, Zeph made sure to stand close beside Bumble, keeping an eye on the stranger in case he made any move to hurt the medicine cat. Seeing as both Bumble and Spider beat him to the interrogation punch, he remained quiet and merely waited for the maine coon's response.

  • // ah! totally forgot to say welcome, i thought you were already a member! ;w; hi!! welcome to windclan! <3

    ninja bumble strikes again >)

    If Zeph thought he was being sneaky in his protective nature - even if it was just because he was a med cat - he was failing miserably. Silently rolling his eyes, Bumblefoot edged closer to Spiderpaw. The maine coon didn't seem violent, but then again some of the sweetest cats could be the most deadly. He wasn't sure if Spiderpaw could handle himself yet, so he kept a close eye on the newcomers movements.

  • *:・゚✦ PALEPAW

    —— girl you know you got me up | tags *:・゚✦

    It wasn't often that they got strangers approaching their borders, especially ones that came about screaming like a banshee. What could be the point in making so much noise? Pale hadnt been hunting like the rest, merely collecting fresh moss for bedding, but once he heard the unfamiliar voice ringing through their territory he joined his clanmates to check it out. Instead of questioning, he remained silent, taking up a seat next to his brother and eyeing the large tom wearily.

  • //welcome to the windfam(fan)

    Yep. All the prey just scattered. Just like that. Although, Toffee wasn't too made about it. She should be because she was starving and so was the clan but she wasn't. She was more curious than mad. Walking around to find the source of the voice, she stumbled upon some of her clanmates and what she assumed made the call. "Hello. I'm Toffeepaw." She said. All of the important questions were asked so she decided to hang around wait for the answer.

  • He eyed the Windclanners carefully, checking their movements with curiosity. It was quite easy to see that the third one was trying to protect the first one, who was in turn getting closer to the second. A family perhaps? "If I had wanted to fight any of you, I wouldn't have yelled", he meowed, allowing himself to relax slightly, hoping it would help them relax as well. Even when talking normally, his voice was considerably louder than most, and he knew that he had to work on that, it just... slipped his mind from time to time. "Ah, and I'm sorry for scaring your prey away", he added, turning towards Bumblefoot with an apologetic smile on his maw.

    "Anyway, I am Bearstorm. I'm here to join", the maine coon added, finally introducing himself to the group. He then turned to Toffeepaw, who had introduced herself to him already. "Nice to meet you, Toffeepaw. I'll try to remember your name, but... Well, don't be offended if I forget the next few days...", he meowed, lowering his voice at the end of the sentence, which pretty much made it a 'normal' voice. He felt a bit guilty for having such a forgetful memory when it came to names, but hopefully he'd remember them soon if he lived here for a few days. If they accepted him, of course.

    // Thank you ^^

  • ☄ ----~ //CHOKES ON BLOOD GUYS EVEN BEARSTORM THINKS BUMBLEBEESHIPPING SHOULD ALREADY BE A FAMILY!

    Zephyrbee, surprise surprise, didn't relax even a toe as Bearstorm tried to explain himself. Zeph continued to look over the tom, studying for any strengths and weaknessess he had that Zeph could exploit should push come to shove. Because like hell would let Bumble or one of the apprentices take on the giant maine coon.

    When Bearstorm introduced himself, Zeph's suspicions immediately ignited. "Bearstorm? That's a clan name," he said, his voice hard as he took a step forward, "where did you come from?" he demanded, sniffing the air to try and decipher his scent. Could Bearstorm be an exile? A traitor? They already had Aloebite in their ranks - Zeph would start growing white hairs if he had to keep an eye on two potential hostiles!

    //ignore how mean he is all opinions ic ;v;

  • He tilted his head slightly as Zephyrbee kept pressing him, watching the warrior's every movement. He wasn't sure if the male was being agressive or just being protective of his clan. Deciding to give him the benefit of the doubt, he went with the latter. "I was, or still am, a loner. I have no idea where my parents or siblings are, sadly, nor do I know why they gave me a clan name. All of us had one, so I'm guessing my parents used to be members of a clan or something", he calmly replied, offering Zephyrbee a small smile in the process. It was the truth, so he couldn't really say much more about it. Hopefully, the guy would keep it at that.

  • Jaspereyes padded over, tilting his head at the newcomer. 'I have no idea where my parents or siblings are.' He said more, but those were the words Jasperettes focused on. Sounds just like me. Jasper eyes had lost his mother and sister and, being unable to find them, joined WindClan 12 moons ago. "I'm Jaspereyes, leader of Windclan." He introduced himself once he'd approached. "Are you looking to join WindClan?"

  • He twisted his head in the new voice's direction, curiously watching the male as he got closer. The moment Jaspereyes introduced himself, the maine coon would dip his head. "Nice to meet you, Jaspereyes. I am Bearstorm", the male replied with a faint smile, now turning slightly so he could focus on the leader. He was slightly confused because of the male's name, as he had once heard the leaders' names ended with 'star', but maybe he was a stand-in of some sorts? Or maybe that rule had changed, or he had yet to receive his name. Now that he thought of it, he had 'received' three names during his life: Bearkit, Bearpaw and Bearstorm. Seeing there was a Toffeepaw present, his parents seemed to have followed the same rules as the clans. So it would only make sense for the leader to receive a 'fourth' name from... yeah, from who? Hmmm... He'd have to ask that later.

    "And yes, I'm here to join Windclan", he added, nodding as he spoke to strengthen his words. His joining procedure was what he had to focus on right now, so he pushed the thoughts about the leader's name to the back of his head.

  • ☄ ----~ Zephyrbee didn't relax at Bearstorm's seemingly truthful words. He didn't trust this behemoth. He could be a spy from Bloodclan for all anyone knew - or a spy from one of their enemy clans, in fact! Still, it was not up to Zephyrbee to decide what to do with anyone, so he didn't say anything when Jaspereyes questioned him about joining. Though, of course, mentally Zeph complained that Jasper was being far too lenient with these unfamiliar "joiners". First a bloodclanner and now a suspicious-potential-rogue? What next - a kitty-pet?!

  • she wasn't sure why everybody was being so harsh to the guy. she'd be happy to welcome the entire forest if she could! this, however, was a lesson she would learn in the future. "welcome!" she greeted loudly.

    // welcome to windclan!

  • Jaspereyes nodded, and with a friendly smile meowed "Then, as Bluepaw said, welcome to WindClan. Bluepaw, would you like to show BearStorm around the territory?" He offered her to do it, as she seemed very welcoming to the tom already.

  • "Thank you. I will do my best", the tom meowed, dipping his head once more before focusing on Bluepaw. He would forget that name. Probably. "After you", he meowed with a faint smile as he flicked his tail, signaling he was ready. He had decided to ignore Zephyrbee for now, simply because he could already see where it would end if he kept going along with it: a fight. And he didn't want that for three reasons: he didn't feel like it, the fight wouldn't be fair because Zeph was suffering from famine and it wouldn't exactly be a good first impression, now would it?

  • Jaspereyes nodded, leading the way. After a few moments, he asked Bearstorm "Where are you from? How did you come across WindClan?" He probably should've asked these questions first, but oh well.

  • "sure, i'd love to show him around." she said cheerily, rising. the small feline flanked jaspereyes as she waited for bearstorm to follow. she loved seeing newcomers! she didn't think to ask about his past.

  • "I've gone here and there. Don't really have a place I can call 'home'", he started as he followed both Bluepaw and Jaspereyes. That they had questions didn't surprise him, he guessed not many loners came and joined. Most were probably born in a clan. But prejudices were things he despised, and he was glad that most did seem to be willing to accept him. And the others would probably trust him once he had lived in the clan for a few weeks. Hopefully. "As for Windclan... I heard from it from other loners. And I was looking to join a clan, so I decided to come here."
