*:・゚✦ Why did they go so deep? Why did his friend think it was a safe idea to deep enough into the ocean in a water-celebrating car as they descend into something they should have never come close to. " Watch, I need to hold onto something. " The man beside him was slightly panicked as he watched blue and white streams of light pass with one white and blinding light several feet below them. " Hold my hand, then. Come on, we can get through this. " Watchingeye's paw reached to grab his friend's with a calm, but fierce gaze as they descend further down and closer to the white light. The other male would look away from it and continue to feel the ever growing sense of dread in his stomach. The two hadn't even noticed the windows had broken, yet their breathing was as if they were still back on the surface. The cat-dragon was actually quite terrified of just what the hell was going on, he watched as what appeared to be galaxies pass him by him in flurries, his breathing would hitch momentarily before a lazy smile would spread across his maw. The roof of the car suddenly bent down, forcing the boys to duck down and only be able to look ahead as white light began to envelop the car. " Oh god, where are we-- Wait, Nick? " He looked to the driver's seat and found that it was empty, tears finally began to roll down Watchingeye's cheek. " It's just me, oh fuck. NICK!" He screamed loudly, before his form was flung out of the vehicle and into a white abyss that was quick to rip off the wings on his back. The ocean and his wounds shared that in common, Watchingeye supposed as he drifted endless throughout this vortex/void thing and could only watch as stars (or whatever they were) pass him by for the first few centuries of his endless existence in this prison. Then, he saw the living once more and found that he was now garbed in a luscious, black robe. A purple feline waltzed had begun his journey and Watching was there to...well, watch and make choices to alter the wizard feline's life as it progressed through good times and bad. He had witnessed Finchstar brutally murdered by Sango, Taako discovering feelings he had for two of his friends and so much more. Yet, he was suddenly from his position one day and his body was thrown along the border like a sack of potatoes. " Shit, I'm in Shadowclan. Should I join these guys? What if Taako knows me? " He mumbled to himself, running a paw over his horns as he tried to think over this. Though, he really should have been questioning why he was back in a normal timeline. Watch took the time to look under his robe, solemnly eyeing his back which had been wrapped tightly where his wings used to be.

    "SPEECH."

  • Shadowclan always seemed to gain an interesting array of joiners. Some were disrespectful assholes that had no idea what their behavior could result in: others seemed like decent people. And despite being rather antisocial and spending at least half of her time on her own, Lua always found herself to be the one greeting joiners and others at the border. Perhaps she was doing it just because of how aggressive some of other Shadowclanners were, or perhaps she'd actually gained an interest in seeing new faces.

Her daily walks seemed to always be the time she'd meet new people. It was rather convenient, considering she just happened to be in the area a lot of people would tend to show up at. Maybe Shadowclan had a bit of a reputation, with all the people coming around and deciding they wanted to stay. They were much unlike Lua when she first joined: she'd only wanted to stay because she needed some place to stay. Shadowclan just happened to be the place she decided to make home.

And as per usual, Lua noticed a stranger near the border. Perhaps another joiner? The masked feline headed over, pretty much ready to use her usual lines she asked basically everyone she came across by the border. "Hello there. Name and business, please?" At this point, it was basically second nature to her. She never bothered asking anyone anything interesting, or showing any sign of aggression. She was just here to ensure that everything was going to be alright for Shadowclan. Nothing more.

  • *:・゚ | fortunately (or was it unfortunately?), glasspaw had never run into the problem of having to greet joiners with the same old 'name and business'. it was mostly because it was rather hard for them to find visitors on the border, with their lack of their sense of smell and all, and their luck only got them so far. though they had to agree: it was practically the only thing anyone ever heard while waiting for a reply from a quiet visitor, but it wasn't ever grating to the apprentice-aged canine, really. it was what got the job done the quickest and with the least effort, so obviously it was the best way to do things. still, a little variety couldn't hurt, not like anyone was getting blamed for being uncreative with their lines. glasspaw hadn't been there to greet a newcomer in a while, so the whole 'name and business' thing wasn't old quite yet. they knew it would be soon, after they got more active in the clan, but everything was still fresh in their own mind. the hellshadow floated up to hover beside lua, darkness masking the cheerful smile on their maw as usual. joiners and visitors to the clan, on the plus side, never got old. each one of them was different and unique and interesting, and despite not all of them being too kind, were always worth making friends with in glasspaw's eyes.

  • ★ ★ ★the usual excitement micah felt from joiners was like a kid in a candy store. his tail wagged, and his face glowed with joy. now, quite frankly, he didn't care. micah had more important things to care about like the fact that he was now an amputee and could barely walk. the young puppy leaned against a tree and put on his metaphoric mask of happiness. "hey there! welcome to shadowclan!", he chimed. gosh- even his own voice made himself feel sick.

*:・゚✦ " Name and business? Oh, yes, talking. Um, Watchingeye McElroy and...joining, I guess? I-I don't actually know? " The male was obviously a bit embarrassed and startled by Lua with the whole...mask thing. A paw slowly raised up to adjust his glasses, then his robe to make sure he didn't look like some disheveled weirdo roaming around. Watch just needed to be safe in this alternate universe of...whatever the hell these clan's were. His long tail flicked as he took notice of Glasspaw and Micah's arrival with a quick nod of his head as he worriedly watched them. Gods, he needed to get himself together or he'd just be declined, if they even did that. " Yeah, Shadowclan. S-Say, you wouldn't happen to know if there is a-- " He paused, thinking it was better to not mention Taako and be questioned on how he knew the strange wizard. " --a place to get a drink? I literally haven't had any form of sustenance in several...years. " That was quiet awkward to say than think, which caused Watch to cringe at himself internally. Okay, all he had to due was make a good rest-of-the-time impression and he would hopefully get better at talking, right? Well, maybe not, but it's definitely good to hope.

    "SPEECH."

  • making his way over hadn't been an easy task, but he'd managed it eventually. with a lot of concentration he could use his ability to sense and see souls to figure out where people were, and he could feel the smallest change in temperatures to tell him if he was about to walk into a tree or something. rocks still proved to be a problem though, and luca tripped more than a couple times on his quest to greet the unfamiliar soul at the border. once he was there, he found himself huffing at the hybrid's words. watchingeye? how fucking ironic. the name made luca feel a little self conscious, and he adjusted the ribbon around his eyes before speaking. "s-several years? were you dead or something?" luca asked, fully aware that he was prying but too curious to care. luca died a lot, and he was always super thirsty in more ways than one when he was revived. "um, anyway, welcome to shadowclan. i have this if you want it," the demon continued, summoning a coke between his paws.

*:・゚✦ Upon Luca's arrival, Watch smiled a bit a the ribbon tied around the demon's eyes and wondered just how he managed to get here from all the way up in those tree house thingys. Oh, right, Luca had asked him a question apparently. " Nah, man. Just stuck in an endless void or whatever the hell that place was. Sorry if that sounds strange, I really don't understand it either. Yet, it seemed somewhat sentient at times. L-Like, one time a soccer ball came out of fucking nowhere and just floated by." Only was he was finished speaking, did he realize he had rambled a bit too much and felt his embarrassment heat his small form up rather quickly. " Thanks, it's a good thing I've met some fairly nice people on my first day! " He grinned in a rather amusing manner, showing off his sharp teeth as he carefully took the coke and began to sip on the fizzy beverage, his tail curled from the carbonation and he even shivered a bit with excitement. Man, was it lovely to be able to interact with people again and actually...do something for the first time in what felt like forever. " I, uh, owe you. I'll repay once I get settled into your lovely clan. " He said softly, taking another sip of his drink as he sat there feeling fairly content now.
