OOC: After a horrific accident, the Mushroom Kingdom and Monius are destroyed, and all except Mario and Eggman are dead. Now these two, who come from different worlds and have vastly different ideologies, must work together to fix what they broke
IC: "U-ugh..." Mario struggled to crawl out of the rubble of the ruined lab, face planting on the ground before picking himself up. Finally being able to stand, he got up and looked around, and went wide eyed "What... what happened...?"
"Hhrgh...?" Eggman groaned, forcing himself up.
"What In the name of...?" Mario looked around, there was literally NOTHING left
"Well..."
Mario turned around at Eggman and growled "This is all your fault egghead"

"Says the one who destroyed my machine!" He hissed back.
"You're the one who made the machine easily breakable"
"Do you think I intended to make it breakable?! Your world's technology is worse than the cave men, I barely managed to build the thing and get in running in the first place!"
"Hey genius, why didn't you just build it in your world then?! It's kind of a stupid idea to build a machine in a world that you don't know what they do and do not have when it comes to technology! Oh wait, I forgot you have the IQ of a box of crayons...."

"Bowser wasn't even in the room! Whatever... we'll, now that the worlds are destroyed, I guess we have to work together to fix this"
*Eggman sighs "Yep..."
"Problem is, where to start..?"
"No idea... perhaps we should get a point of where we are..."
"I know we were close to Bowser's castle last I remember
"But that was before the explosion. All we know is that we could be the other side of the world or still by his castle."
"And since everything was destroyed, we have no reference..."
