  • The cheetah tired of BloodClan's terrible summer heat, and what better way to deal with it than to host a pool party? He'd set up a few chairs, floaties, and stations of chilled beverages (alcohol or otherwise). The manticore wasn't sure how drunk he'd get by the end of the day, but he hoped he wouldn't be tempted... much. Either way, there were plenty of beers, scotch, and all that typical shit for anyone to indulge in.

Humming to himself, the manticore was just about done setting up the freezer stuffed with ice cream as he realized the sun had reached its peek -- so, time for everyone to filter in and enjoy the sweltering summer heat with plenty of refreshments and water to play in.

  • ✦ ✧ ✦ — The blazing sun beat down on Stardust's pelt as she approached, a smile glowing on her maw. It wasn't often that the tabby smiled, yet she was doing so now; a pure, genuine smile stretched across her face. This, of course, was because of the pool party; the prospect of relaxing in the water would make anyone happy, even Stardust.

"Looks good, Ximen," the feline complimented, trotting up to the edge of the water. Dipping in a paw, she stirred up a small current, spraying little drops of liquid onto her pelt. Deciding she liked the temperature, the tabby took a few steps backwards, then sprinted towards the pool and jumped in with a splash. When she resurfaced, she was grinning.

  • WEAK OR STRONG, CARRY ON, SHOW NO MERCY TO THEM ALL — yuu baskerville

the heat of the sun was unrelenting and yuu often found himself becoming frustrated with how the sun constantly made him feel like he was in the depths of hell itself. the ajin was cursed with thick black fur— something that any bloodclanner would probably hate. yuu couldn't complain though, as he decided that he would live in bloodclan despite its arid weather. however, he came to the party as a member of shadowclan, an ally. the direhound figured he would bring some delicious food for everyone to enjoy. not all the time was yuu an arrogant child. he could do nice things when he wanted to.

he placed the basket he had brought the food in on the side before he turned and wandered closer to the pool area, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "hm." the youth hummed as he walked closer to the edge of the water and dipped his front paws in it. however as he settled by the edge of the pool, stardust ran right past him and had leaped into the clear blue water, effectively spraying water all over him. yuu sputtered and shook his head, narrowing his deep red gaze into a smoldering glare as he huffed. goddammit.

  • Azul blinked at the pool, her beautiful eyes gleaming with fire. She went straight for the alcohol, pouring herself a glass of hard scotch. She drank it quickly in an attempt to numb her pain. Today, her coat was clotted with blood. Fresh gashes were scattered on her back. Her eyes, as sharp as flint, were piercing the others around her.

  • Barbara was fairly sure everyone was getting tired of the heat. Well, mostly everyone - some people didn't seem bothered by it, which she thought was bullshit. How did blistered paws and sunburned skin not bother you? She knew for a fact she wasn't any sort of weakling, so it must've just been others acting tough or something. Whatever, it didn't matter now - what did matter was that she was going to go to Ximen's party, wade in the water a bit (since she couldn't swim), and, hopefully, get laid. She would have added "get drunk" to that list, but since she was pregnant, she couldn't drink. Fucking kids.

Striding to the party-area, the lovely molly today wore black winged eyeliner around her eyes and her usual choker necklace. She surveyed the oasis, tail flicking behind her, before grabbing a soda and sitting down in one of the chairs Ximen had set up. Who would show up today? Oh, someone fun, she hoped.

  • A pool party. When the guy had come to the BlizzardClan border to invite the clan, he had immediately RSVP'ed. Swimming? Partying? Drinks? Babes? Sounded all good to him. The tuxedo tom had actually attempted to look decent, though that was only to impress the ladies. Wherever the girls were, he looked his best. Speaking of girls, maybe he'd see Barbara here. This was on her turf, after all.

The BlizzardClanner arrived next, a small smirk gracing his features as he glanced around. This was a pool party, but perhaps he'd go into the water a bit later. For now, Jerseyboy would grab a beer from the cooler and snap the can open. He took a sip and scanned the crowd for anyone who caught his interest-- hey, look who it was. Speak of the devil.

Jersey set his sights on the BloodClan queen and he nudged the can aside, standing tall. "Barb,"  Jersey addressed, sauntering over towards her. He flashed her a charming smirk. "Some party, eh?" He hadn't noticed her bulging belly as of yet, as he had been mostly focusing on her dazzling facial features rather than the rest of her body.

And if my heart just stops, keep me alive for a minute (I want to know if a curtain drops)tags

Admittedly, Lucien was not a party person. He didn't like to socialize, or to make small talk, simply because he was bad at it. He was better at starting a conversation with a clear cut goal, and then going from there. Otherwise, he just looked like a fish out of water, waving a white flag. Considering he had accepted the invite, he had saw it fit to come over, which was his demise in being polite. However, it was literally a roast session in this heat, so he understood the need for a pool party. Although he couldn't really feel it, he knew it was hot merely because he was sweating slightly. To perhaps avoid conversation, and any Shadowclan members (he assumed them to be invited as well, he just didn't know), he too would actually hop into the water. Talk about literally drowning your problems.

  • Aldora wasn't used to parties.. or any social interactions with other clans, to be precise. She was still fairly new as it was to ShadowClan and, prior to her joining of the anticlan, the ebony shaded feline's only encounter with foreign groups was whenever her mother seeked out trading posts every now and then. But that was in the past and this was the present.

Padding forward, Aldora delicately lept into a chair to take a place away from what seemed like the main interactions of the party. Although she was friendly and more than happy to engage in conversation, the petite domestic was still rather shy when it came to strangers.

  • Well if it wasn't Jerseybitch. She had to admit, the nickname that Riddlersgame gave him was a bit harsh. Apparently, Riddler had never banged the guy, because goddamn, he deserved a much better name than "Jerseybitch". Perhaps for a bit of friendly teasing, but the way the drunken tabby had referred to him had been anything but friendly.

Barbara watched the handsome tuxedo tom as he approached her, momentarily closing her eyes and trying to remember the night they had spent together, but no details came to mind. Fuck - it must've been all the stress she had been under recently. Of course the only good thing that had happened in the past few weeks had escaped her mind. Or, the best parts of it, anyway.

Barb shifted where she sat, paw resting on her swollen abdomen as she offered Jersey a charming smile and purred in playful greeting, "Hey, Jerseyboy! Yeah, it's pretty nice. I've seen better." Most of the time, she had no actual feelings for those she slept with, but Jersey was cool. She didn't like him romantically, but she definitely wouldn't mind spending some time with him. Was that just because of how easy it was to flirt with him? Hm, she hadn't thought of that. After thinking for a moment, a mischievous smile appeared on her lips. "So, you've heard the news?" she asked, trying to keep the amusement off of her features. Oh, this was going to be great. "You're gonna be a daddy!" she exclaimed excitedly, pointing at her belly. Well, he probably already was someone's daddy, but she had a feeling the Paladin Commander wasn't a father. Obviously, her kids didn't belong to Jersey, but the timing was just about right - she had fucked Somebody only a week or so before her date with Jerseyboy, and she didn't think he knew much about pregnancy. Not like she did either.

  • Azul finished her drink, her thick tail flicking with satisfaction. Thats better. She padded to the edge of the pool, her silver pelt white in the sunshine. She tentatively dipped her paws in, the cool water lapping at her fur.

  • UPTOWN GIRL, SHE'S BEEN LIVING IN HER UPTOWN WORLD

Jerseyboy had several "encounters" in the past few weeks, but he hadn't forgotten his experience with Barbara. She was just like him, quite amazing in bed, so it was a lot of fun to give her a lay. He felt the same way towards her, though; he didn't know her well enough to like her in a romantic fashion, but she seemed pretty fun. Perhaps he should've visited BloodClan more often.

He didn't even have a chance to process what she said because he instantly focused on Barbara's swollen belly. Whoa, how did she gain so much weight? Unless... wait, what? Jerseyboy met Barb's gaze again when she gleefully told him the news of her pregnancy (well, apparently their pregnancy). "Whoa whoa, what?" Jerseyboy said in disbelief. "No way." He shook his head, furrowing his brow in confusion and surprise. Christ, he slept around a lot, but at least he knew how not to get a girl pregnant. He didn't want kids! Shit, now BlizzardClan and BloodClan would know how much of a dumbass he was. Would he have to actually raise them? The thought made him shudder.

  • Xia joined the party with mild interest, ears flat on her head. She idly listened to others as she wandered through the crowd, effectively making a beeline to the drink table. She made small nods to her fellow ShadowClanners, Yuu and Aldora, before settling with a cup of soda and sitting rather lonely. Given recent events, she didn't really want interaction, though wouldn't mind it if it happened upon her.

  • The surprise on his face was fucking gold. Barbara bit her lip to keep from cackling the moment she saw his expression change, but when he finally spoke, she couldn't hold it in anymore. Practically bursting into hysterical laughter, Barbie placed a paw on Jersey's shoulder to balance herself. "Oh... my god," she choked, swiping away invisible tears of amusement. "I can't believe you fell for that." Well, really, it wasn't that far-fetched - they had slept together, and the extra weight she had gained clearly wasn't fat - it was firm and almost perfectly round. "No- no, don't worry, Jers, they're not yours," gasped the tabby, slim shoulders shaking with laughter.

"These little assholes 'belong' to some fucker from the Cartel. Nothing for you to worry about today." Still breathless from her "prank" she apparently found quite hilarious, Barbara leaned back where she sat and offered Jerseyboy a coy smile. "But my god, the look on your face- it was fucking priceless." She hoped he didn't get upset by this, since she was still down for a lay later, but really, why should he? It was just a harmless joke, one she had come up with on the spot, which she thought earned her some bonus points.

  • MAX RAPTOR

shadowclan - panther - roleplayed by .ev

if we had more time i'd burn alive

Ugh. Damn, this place was hot. Max panted in the desert heat, so made his way to the refreshments table to down a glass of water. The panther had never been keen on drinking, so instead scoffed some food before looking around at everyone gathered. His gaze landed on the familiar scarfed child, and his mouth turned up in amusement. Max sauntered over to Yuu. "'Eyyy, kiddo!" The large feline would attempt to shove a paw into Yuu's back, shoving him into the pool.

    JUNEBUG A.W.

  • Normally at parties, Greymatter sits off to a corner. She enjoyed people-watching, seeing the small talk flitter to and fro. But now, as recently named Commander of ColoredClan, she felt obligated to work the room, so to speak. However, the first thing she does is dip her paws into the cool, relaxing water.

Eventually, she goes and grabs a drink, her eyes searching around the place before landing on Xia. Her eyes narrow; she recognizes the hellhound as part of the BHR. She must hold dual-alliance with an ally of BloodClan's, or perhaps she is a wolf in a sheepskin.

"Not up to destroying violence at the moment, I see," Greymatter makes an icy comment to Xia.

  • !♥! The heat here was even worse than Noelle thought it would be, but at least there were frozen treats and cold refreshments to distract her from the blazing weather she hated. Momentarily glancing over at her other clanmates, the hybrid snapped up a few ice cream bars and tubs with one crab-claw shaped end of her glowing scarf. As she sat down a small distance away from the edge of the pool, the other end turned into the blades of a fan, hovered behind her, and spun. The souls powering the spinning motion shouted and rioted in her head against constantly doing so, but they had already been complaining about the heat and travelling to Bloodclan, so it barely made a difference to Noelle. Perhaps the air from the fan might help others, too, although it stopped for a few seconds every minute or so. A small grin took its usual place on her face as she unsealed one tub of ice cream, scooping out spoonfuls with one paw as she watched everyone else, the noise of conversation helping to block out the noise of several complaining minds in her hive of them.

  • RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY, FROM YOUR LIES — yuu baskerville

yuu was honestly minding his own business— hell, he would have even tried to talk with one of the members of the other clans that had been invited if it hadn't been for max's intrusion. the sound of paws shuffling in the sand had prompted the direhound to turn his head over his shoulder, but it was a tad bit too late to do anything about max's approach. he felt paws push against his back and the pup was shoved into the clear water with an surprised yelp leaving him. yuu frantically brought himself up to the surface, his jaw clenched tightly in both anger and fright. he honestly didn't know how to swim and so he basically ungracefully splashed his way towards the edge of the pool and got out, his thick fur now stuck to his sides. his scarf was soaked and wet and yuu had no clue how to dry it since he never had gotten it wet before.

the direhound took a moment to catch his breath before he turned to send his livid glare in max's direction, his shoulders quivering from the cold water. "u-ugh..." the canine would shake out his fur, his scarf sliding from his neck and wetly plopping onto the ground. he gathered up the wet material in his maw and waddled as far from the pool as possible where he then flopped down with an annoyed sigh leaving him. the pool-party experience had been thoroughly ruined for him.
