Mario and the gang were eventually back on the road to head home again

*The mobian watched them go, smiling gently "For my only appearance ever... I'm happy..."

However soon he saw Giamo following them

"Oi, hey!" He jumped on his extreme gear, going after him.

When the mobian finally saw something, he saw Mario on the ground, looking in pain. The truck, Giamo and the others were gone

"I was too late?!"

"Ow..." Mario struggled to stand up, then looks around in a panic "Luigi?! Joey?! Yoshi?! Guys?!" Then realizes the truck is missing "Oh, no no no!" And follows the truck tracks in the dirt

*The mobian follows him closely "Hey, hold up!"

They follow the marks, just in time to see the truck speeding towards a cliff, with Giamo jumping out of the driver's seat at the last second, sending the truck flying over the edge and into the water below
"NO!!" Mario ran to the edge of the cliff

"No...!" The mobian followed them off the clip, surrounded in a glow before going super.

He found the truck already in the water, heading down the river
-
But before he could do anything he saw Mario flying down with a cape feather desperately trying to catch it, however the truck went over a large waterfall, and although Mario tried to stop it, he was too late and the truck splashed into the river below after such a huge fall. Knowing there was little chance anyone survived, he went back up to the cliff area to get on the ground, and he looked both mad and sad at the same time
