  • CRIMSONROSES

The husky-wolf mix was sober, for once. Her paws were carrying her along the boarder at first. Though, she wouldn't stay for long. Veering off, she would run until she found what she wanted. Water. A small pool of it was there and she dove in. The water covering her pelt as she lay in the pool. She loved water and this was great. A small clear and natural water source for her to lounge in.

  • Though Marchingband didn't particularly enjoy water, the small fox came across the newer member contently lounging in the small pool of liquid. A stupid grin spread across his face. He didn't know why, but he always couldn't help smiling at those who appreciated the mundane things of this world. So easily made happy, so quick to be pleased. The small fox peeked his head out of a bush that he just happened to be in, and peered over at her. His expression changed from a mild curiosity to straight up surprise. Was she sober? Generally he'd seen her pretty much wasted, but perhaps there was some sort of special occasion? "Hey. How's it going?" he asked, hopping out of the bush and deciding not to comment on the small detail that she was sober.

  • Serafin arrived at the pool not long after and was surprised to meet the other two there. "Oh, hello." the snowy canine greeted, eying Crimsonroses almost suspiciously. He had not caught the canine sober since they had met and he almost wasn't sure how to talk to her like this. "What brings you two here?"

  • CRIMSONROSES

The sober hybrid would lift her head and blink. She would lift her head from the muddy bank of her pool. She was always at peace in the water. It was just her thing. Water was her home, in every way. Strange for a beast that grew up in the mountains. Her eyes meeting the healer and leader. They had come here? Surprise was clear on her face as she lay there. She wanted to sit up, but at the same time, she didn't want to leave the cooling waters. Her pelt would cling and reveal her scrawny frame. She didn't want that. "Ahoy. Thin's are goin' well. How about yourself?" She replied to the healer first, as he spoke first.

Then, the leader would speak as well. She noted his gaze. Was he suspicious of her? It felt like it. Maybe he was to used to drunk her. She had tried to be sober today for a reason. "I came here t' escape troubles in a healthier way, ye?"

  • Going well? What a wonderful thing to hear. Marchingband always meant it when he asked how someone was. The question was never something he just threw around to pass time or be friendly. "It's been ... not the best," he admitted, trying to be as honest as he could. Nights were spent more anxious than not, however they weren't terrible. "But far from the worst." Marchingband grinned at that, because it was true. There had been some very low points in his life, but lately that was not the case! He glanced over at Crimsonroses, her response to the leader's question interested him. "You should celebrate that," he said, referring to the fact she'd found a better way to 'escape troubles', "um, with candy or something." He added that part, knowing it'd be pretty ironic if Crimson drank to celebrate being sober.

  • CRIMSONROSES

The girl offered a soft nod at this. She was glad he was okay. Sober her was, better. More into people and talking. She offered a slight wag of her tail and then blinked. "Candy? Never had that before." Sheadmits with a nervous smile.

  • "Huh? Never had candy before?" he asked unnecessarily, obviously surprised by that. Marchingband didn't particularly like candy very much, he was more into fruit, but he had at least tried it.  "Well, it's sugary and sweeter than fruit," the fox summarized it, not having any with him to share. He sat down and dug his dull claws in the ground beneath him, trying to think of something else to ask.  "Have you ever tried cake? Or something like it?" That would be perfect to celebrate with. If he had some.

  • CRIMSONROSES

The female would listen to him and then shake her head. "Ne'er had fruit afore. Or cake. Or anythin' like that ether. I was meat only as a sprog." She admits with a tilt of her head.

  • Serafin eyed the girl with concern though he admittedly had no idea what a sprog was. "That's a shame." he said, a small frown on his muzzle, "We'll have to fix that then." The commander had always enjoyed sweets of the mortal realm.

  • CRIMSONROSES

The girl would look at the leader with a tilted head. they would have to fix it? So it was that bad, then? Humming a bit, she would nod to the other.
