House Tully. One of the houses who were loyal to the Targaryens during the Dragon Conquest.

They were the original holders of the Riverlands, a fact that intrigued the young daughters of the High King. Their brother had no thirst for power, which was fine by them. As long as at least one of them held power, they would be well off. It had been Khaalida's idea to ask their father about House Greyjoy, though she later learned someone 'beat her to the punch' so to speak. Their only competition at this point would be House Mallister, which previously held Seagard so there shouldn't be much problem in House Tully taking their rightful place as the guardians of the Riverlands.

She had pulled her sister with her to talk to Tsubodai about taking hold, just so they could get clearance of bringing in new members who would be previously sworn in before joining. They'd most likely be servant staff, guards and peasant families with no where else to go. Charity cases to make both House Tully and House Targaryen look even better.

Padding into the throne room Khaalida took a deep bow, lioness paws making no sound as she came. Rising she looked to the throne. "Father, Mara and I have something we wish to discuss with you. Its about your proposal during the family meeting."

Tsubodai had been waiting for some of the children to come to him, talking about which houses they could help revive. After all, he was sure there was a major lot of them who were quite ambitious and looking to find their own paths to power. Tsubodai had been surprised no one had asked him immediately during their little family meeting, but it was only some time before the first one approached.

The black lion was lounging on the Iron Throne, having been called there by his daughters. As Khaalida stepped up to give her proposal, the king gave a small nod, inviting her to continue and speak. He wondered which of the houses she would choose--there were so many in the lands and perhaps, her choice would tell him something about her.

Khaalida took a breath, knowing that this move in the chess game of Westeros was being judged. She knew the risk, she knew of the power she and her sister could hold if they played their cards right. "Mara and I wish to take hold of House Tully, together. We ask for this house because it would mean possible full control of the Riverlands for you if we can win over House Mallister, who once swore to the family long ago before Jaelynn brought it to power last year. We would be your eyes and ears, the house becoming as loyal to our family as it was during the Great Dragon Conquest." For once the young lioness' eyes were filled with passion, pride and hope in her own words.

She wanted to earn her name so badly, knowing that as a bastard daughter she had no right to bear it. No matter how kind her father was for letting her take it at all.

Mara stood by her sister, nodding along with what was being said. As she had nothing new to add, she said nothing, only waiting for Tsubodai's reply.

House Tully? Interesting choice. It seemed that the House had gone extinct, with little hopes for revival, due to the fact Tsubodai hadn't heard of anyone who knew any Tullys. He hadn't seen any for himself, either. Thus, it was a very good choice for revival, considering the fact it occupied a prominent position in Westerosi politics and history and it had no living descendants. It was a House for shrewd, ambitious individuals to take on.

"House Tully," he echoed. "That means you both will take on the Tully name. Your children will be Tullys as well." As he answered Lucerys, they would keep the Targaryen names for themselves, though their descendants would be of House Tully. Still, family ties were still there and that would provide enough loyalty and support for now until they forgot that they had once been dragons and not fish.

"We understand the consequences for reviving a house, but your wish is our command. You wanted the houses of Westeros to be more prominent in Westeros and so we as your children and your subjects shall make it happen. Even if it is only one house as of current." She knew very well that her and her siblings were pawns. No matter how much she wanted to have a paw in control of her own life, in the end her choices were still in the grasp of Tsubodai for as long as he may live. For as long as she was deemed useful.

Tsubodai gauged her words quietly, his flat gaze expressionless. "Then you and Mara shall be the new heads of House Tully," he finally stated with a nod. Reviving houses, hmmm--he would most likely need an official order informing the custodians of Riverrun what was happening. "I shall have a royal decree drawn up granting you the Tully name."
