The east coast isn't that bad to live on, at least in Maryland the worst we've had lately was a large snow storm and hurricane Sandy.
I prefer living here than in Cali since the wild fires, earthquakes, etc.

we get wildfires, earthquakes, snowstorms, and windstorms up in ak. The wind gets to hurricane level, but it's just wind so we call then windstorms.

See, My parents are planning to move to Tennessee..and I'm juat disagreeing since if we move..Then there's no more ocean vacation.

Carolina (I'm not sure which one) was a lot of fun to visit. The oceans are super warm compared to what we have in Cali and everyone is super friendly.
An old friend of mine moved to Tennessee to further his country music career lol. People are super friendly there too, apparently, but I'm with you on not liking that there's no ocean vacay.

my parents don't want me to move outta state, even though in going to Washington in a few years for veterinary college.
I've gone to both Carolinas, mainly South because that's were my grandparents live and then they we have the blackest dinner ever.
Never been to Tennessee or have had friends go there, so I wouldn't know anything but no ocean vacay is something I'm used to. I mean, I guess I could but our water is hella cold in Alaska.
Tay what ocean did you go to, or beach rather? Myrtle maybe?

scar. We went to Myrtle Beach when we drove through South Carolina, but it was pretty trashed so we didn't stay too long. After that we went to North Carolina and stayed in this hotel that was right by the beach, through not sure which one, but we were in Wilmington. It was for my cousin's wedding.

I've been to Bermuda, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida..all of which was on vacation to either visit family, a beach, or some kind of lake.
