  • Lin sighed. "So home is pretty bad for you, huh?" He said softly. "Is there a day when that doesn't happen to you?" It was clear he knew he was walking on a thin line when asking these questions but he asked them anyway. While he turned you could hear the rustle of his wings as the brushed underneath his shirt which happened to be another white button up but this time it had short sleeves. He was still wearing the same dark pants as well. "You know what, don't answer those. Do you want me to heal that for you?"

  • "Uh.." That seemed to wake Z up, and throw him off a bit. He sat up and made sure there was nobody around. "Don't even ask.." He muttered as he unzipped his jacket and pulled his tanktop off. Bruises, kick marks, and.. Bite marks, some burn marks, and some new lash marks. He looked away quietly, taking a deep breath. "Make it fast, pretty boy." He muttered a bit harshly, obviously trying to distract himself from the marks littered about his chest and back.

  • Lin frowned as Z hadn't called him that name for a while. He kept himself from wincing as he saw Z's wounds, and what he assumed made them truly disturbed him. He reached out to gently touch over the wounds, doing his best to get all the ones he saw. While working on them he said asked after a moment, but he was not looking at Z while he spoke as he was focused on the healing. "Are you required to be at home every night?" He asked randomly, just now wondering something but his voice was softer than usual.

  • Z shook his head, "Well, no, just if he calls me.." The male muttered, flinching a little and letting out a whimper when the other touched some certain marks. He turned red when he whimpered and frowned, finally when the other was done he pulled his shirt back on and pulled on his jacket, his ear flicking a bit.

  • "Hmm . . ." Lin leaned back in his seat before raising an arm to stretch. Truly he was concerned, and he wanted to show that but he didn't know how. He wasn't exactly good with emotions all the time. He was so used to acting a certain way he forgot how to act like he wanted. "It's obvious that you don't get to eat much and also where you receive those wounds. Why don't you come over to my house for dinner?" He asked with the same tone as usual, arms falling down as he was done stretching.

  • The yokai flinched "If your parents are fine with a demon in their house." He grumbled softly, leaning his chin on the desk as the werewolf walked in. "Heyy, Diz-" "AHEM" "I mean Z." The werewolf chuckled, grabbing the male by the waist and pulling him to his feet, causing the male to yelp softly in suprist, his tail and ears sticking straight up. "Lets go hang out~" The werewolf said, though where his hands were incinuated something other than hanging out. "No thanks du-" The werewolf grabbed his tail and the yokai gasped, turning red and shoving the werewolf forcefully away. "Go away dude!"

  • Lin couldn't help it but he felt a tiny bit irritated at the werewolf's actions. It was clear the other didn't like them and also the werewolf was going a bit too far. He'd been going to tell Z that no, his mother would not mind. "If you're going to be an annoying mutt, could you please leave? Your behavior is embarrassing and childish." He spoke to the werewolf in a bored yet serious tone. "You should also know that when someone doesn't like something that you don't do it, so why don't you stop and leave us." His third sentence was much more serious and it was clear he was becoming a bit threatening.

  • The werewolf seemed a bit taken aback by the other's words, suprised nonetheless. "Whatcha gonna do about it, pretty boy?" He snickered as an arm snaked around the yokai's waist, pulling him close. "Gah- I swear to-" The yokai was getting ready to burn the werewolf when his tail was grabbed. He froze up, hissnig softly at the male whom tightened his grip, causing the yokai's eyes to widen as he covered his mouth, whimpering softly.

  • Lin took in a sharp breath, closing his eyes for a moment as he kept his anger on the down low. Slowly he stood up from his seat, eyes opening again but they remained narrowed. "There's a lot I could do about it, and let me tell you that you really do not want to mess with me. I haven't gotten the chance to take someone down in a while as usually most are smart enough to leave me alone or do as I tell them. But you can ignore that as I'm saying this now." He took a step forward, his back straight and head held high. "You will let him go, and you will leave, or you will have to deal with me, and not only me, but someone else who I know absolutely hates your kind." His voice was sharp now, cold, and very threatening. The air itself was growing rapidly colder, to the point one could see their breath in the air.

  • The werewolf growled under his breath and shoved Z into the angels chest before storming out. Z was still bright red as he looked up at the angel, his ears slicked back as he rolled his line eyes softly, "Er.... Thanks..." He muttered, not wanting to give a real thank you but he was relieved and it did show. His ear twitched a bit as he looked away stubbornly.

//.. Something happened to my best friend. Bitches. Will. Die.

  • ;; oh, i'm sorry ;;_;; are they alright?

Lin sighed and the temperature of the room slowly went back to normal. "You're welcome. Sorry for my behavior just then. Anyway as I was going to say . . . My mother will not mind if you come over. She most likely won't be at home for long anyway. Though if you're wondering about my dad he happens to go for a few weeks, visit on the weekends and then is gone for a few weeks again. Business things I guess." He looked down at Z then, now much calmer than he had been before.

  • Z would never admit it - but the angel intimidated him a little bit. He sat down quietly, "Cool. My dad is a drunken dick and my mom.. She's not really with us" He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck as h thought abou5 her. "Her name was Cecelia Greystone" Cecelia Greystone was known by everyone, a famous healer whom died of a murder.

//No. They are bawling. Heads. Will. Roll.

  • Lin's eyes widened slightly but he quickly recovered from what he had heard. "Oh, I'm . . . sorry to hear that." He murmured before moving to sit down on the top of his desk, one leg crossing over the other. Right now he was trying to get over the fact that this boy had been that woman's child, he'd known that woman's name well. Most did but with people like Lin that name was even more important. ". . . So, will you becoming home with me or not?" There was no hidden meaning or anything like that under his tone, he was purely just making an offer he thought might help the boy out for a day.

  • "I'll go with you." He mutterted softly, looking over at the angel for a moment before looking down again. He was now thinking about his mother. She was beautiful. She had died when he was younger, the murder.. He knew the killer very well.. He took a deep breath and snickered softly. "Oh well, am I right? Things die. Kinda cool really." He chuckled, trying to mask the pain that slid in under his voice. He got up, stumbling a bit and looking at the angel for a moment. "What can you do anyway? Like, fighting I mean."

  • Lin slid a hand behind his neck to push his long hair to the side, it happened to feel ticklish at some times. ". . . I don't have much offense ability. My abilities revolve around more manipulation and defense. I can sense things others can't, and there's a long list of what I can do. Though truthfully my abilities aren't meant for attacking they are meant for purely protecting. When it comes to fighting it's common to use a weapon, usually something like a sword. Our physical strength and energy is much greater than others so in fighting I can avoid getting tired. It's a bit hard to explain." He admitted, not hiding anything but also not explaining everything as well. "There is one thing we can do but that attack usually results in death for those around so it's basically not allowed. Also it takes up the most energy, there is not point in using it."

  • "Oh, thats cool." He chuckled a little, sighing. "I have to hide my power, because, well, if people knew it they would be terrified because of my past." He said with a nervous laugh, snapping his finger as his hair turned icy blue, his eyes the same color as well as his ears and tail. His fangs grew to seep a little from his lips as some blue markings like a tiger appeared on his face. The tips of his ears and tail grew a bit and lit on fire. He looked exactly like Z, the one whom, well, was a murderer. But he was known for killing evil people, people whom had done bad deeds he murdered ruthlessly. He vanished a thousand someodd years ago. "Yea. People don't think this is the nicest face." He chuckled as he changed back and slouched a bit

  • Lin knew he should have been surprised at Z's looks but he wasn't, and nor was he scared. "Just because you may look like someone does not mean anything bad. Some may think you're scary, but I don't think so. To fear someone based on their looks can be a bit sad. In reality, you are quite adorable." He turned and looked up at the clock that was on the wall. "It appears that class will start soon. When school ends you can walk with me home, it's not that long of a walk. I have no idea what's for dinner but I guess we'll find out."

  • Z blushed and rolled his eyes, which he let remain blue. "Whatever.. Sure." He muttered.

    //Timeskips

After school, Z walked outside quietly, his eyes still blue. He was looking at the ground as he pulled his hood on, his dad had been texting him throughout the school day and had been trying to ask Z when he would be home and all this nonsense. Z knew he was gonna get hell for not coming home actually, but one night with the annoying, stupid, super attractive angel was better than, well, dying.

  • Lin had quickly gotten the stuff he needed from school and set it in the satchel he had, slinging the strap over his shoulder before he went to find Z. Seeing the other was outside he bounded over to him. "Sorry about that, I happened to need to grab some things." He started walking in the direction of his house but walked close to Z's pace being he was taller than the other. His house was not far away at all. "Also, don't worry about getting any hate. I've told my mother a little bit about you, actually. She said she'd like to meet you."

  • The yokai nodded softly, shrugging a bit, though he was tense. His hands slid into his pockets as he walked next to the angel. "Cool, I guess" He murmered softly as his phone buzzed again. His eyes grazed over the words, but it was something along the lines of, 'Get your ass home right now or-' The yokai closed his phone and looked at the ground, taking a deep breath before walking a bit closer to the angel, his shoulder brushing against the otherd arm as they walked. "Hey, uh, I have a weird question."
