    Z instantly melted when his ear was touched, purring softly as his whole body relaxed. He leaned his forehead softly on the other's, pecking his lips softly before leaning his head into the other's hand.

    Lin felt even lighter after that and continued his scratching. He liked the nice actions Z was doing even though he didn't understand where they were coming from. It went back to wondering what had happened the two nights ago but he would never ask. His hand slipped from the others hair to gently rest on the yokai's cheek, his thumb gently tracing circles against the skin.

    The small male purred softly, looking at the angel for a moment, something in his eyes. He smiled a bit though, his ears still perked before instantly lowering when he tried to move, letting out a small squeak and hugging the other male, he had forgotten about his injuries.

    Lin heard the sound so he was careful as he moved to lightly wrap his arms around Z. He was going to lecture him but since the other had hugged him he didn't want to lecture the yokai on everything the other did. That would just show negativity towards the action and that's not how he felt, it's just he was trying to avoid harming the other more. "I told you, be careful." He said gently.

    The small yokai whimpered softly, wrapping his arms around the other. "I think it would have better if I had gone to my dad, and thats saying something" He mumbled, nuzzling his face into the other's shoulder softly.

    Lin frowned at that comment. He knew how Z's father treated him, but knowing that he'd rather go back to that man that have been with K. ". . . So, he did the exact same thing your father does to you?" His voice turned it to not even being a question. There was an icy chill to it as the angel had suddenly gotten very serious. He was already knew the answer, that the other had done horrible acts, even worse than that man.

    "I mean, kinda... My dad would have beat the shit out of me than more or less thrown me into a pit of drunk men.. K just isn't very gentle I guess. He's kinda.. He likes inflicting pain on people, which I mean I get, we're demons, its kinda our thing but he had no sympathy." He said with a nervous smile. "It's fine tho."

    Lin's feathers hadn't fluffed out but they'd flattened, but it was in an unhappy way. As if his wings were sharpening. "I took you away from your dad so you'd get away from any of that. So why are you allowing him to do this? Sure, whatever it was I'm sure it didn't need all that. You're clearly in a lot of pain, did you even agree to him doing that?" His voice was still a bit sharp, becoming serious like the day when the werewolf had been teasing Z and he'd gotten on them about it.

    Z flinched, his ears flattening. "Look, it was better than me being here, alright?" He sighed softly, though he seemed nervous now. "I'm sorry, okay?" He said in a anxious tone, hiding his face in the other's shoulder softly, not wanting to look at him. "It's fine. . ."

    Lin instantly felt guilty at how Z reacted and moved to gently trace feather soft circles on the others back. "Don't apologize, that's not what I meant. I'm not mad at your or anything. I understand you had to leave but it still doesn't make it okay. Whatever you needed it really doesn't require all the extra pain he gave you, does it? He's doing it by choice isn't he?" His voice was softer now, but he wasn't happy.

    "Well, yea, most of it" He said softly, looking at the angel quietly. "It's fine, seriously. . . I knew what I was getting into, alright ?" He said softly, placing a soft kiss on the other's cheek.

    Lin sighed and even with that small kiss he didn't exactly feel any better. "I know what you knew you were getting into, it doesn't make it any more acceptable though." His voice wasn't angry just a bit . . . threatening though it remained soft. There was just that tone to it that set it off a little.

    The small male frowned softly, "You realize I probably would have done the same thing to you if I were here last night, correct?" He sighed softly, snuggling his face into the other's shoulder.

    Lin didn't know how to feel about that. He was aware of how he was feeling towards the yokai but then there was the fact he was an angel and never had been in a situation like that before. It probably would have caused a lot of panic for him, actually, it was more of his kinds instinct to avoid those things. Even now at some times his instinct told him no, but another part of his instinct told him it was okay. "I . . . Understand. I just don't like you getting hurt." He murmured, still tracing the others back gently.

    The small yokai chuckled softly. ". . . You are the first person whose ever said that" He muttered quietly, nobody ever cared, but this angel.. Always , for some reason, always cared..

    Lin hummed. "I'm sure in the future there'll be more than just me who will say that. I hate being the only one who's said it but I'm glad that I was the one to introduce you to those words as I mean them." The more icy tone of his voice had completely vanished now, but he could feel his anger towards K beginning to grow.

    Z looked at the other male quietly for a moment before placing a soft kiss on the other's lips, his fingers tangled into the other's long, white and lavender hair. ". . . You're too nice for your own good. . " He muttered

    Lin sighed against the others lips as Z spoke. "I'm just being honest." He whispered before leaning in to brush his lips against the yokai's again, finding that this calmed himself down a bit. The touch to his hair helped calm his anger down as well. It didn't get rid of it, it was still there and strong but he was able to control it now.

    Lin nodded though he was bit surprised at the sudden request. "Alright." He agreed, wondering what the other could possibly want to make. Though before releasing the other from his light embrace he leaned forward the peck the yokai's lips again before pulling back.
