  • "Well yeah I'm getting fuckin mad!" He snapped, whirling at her. Did she not realize that she just endangered him and his family from what she did. And she has the gall to look smug of all things. "Jesus Christ, of all the things you had to fucking be it's a goddamn spoiled princess in her rebellious stage." He laughed hollowly, pacing now. "Fucking shit." He mumbled under his breath. What the hell was he supposed to do now? He knew for a fact the whomever was looking for her wasn't going to stay on their side of the border if they weren't already in his territory by this point tearing shit up. God and his mom, she shouldn't get caught up in this mess. "I'm taking you back." He said, wanting to nip this at the bud.

Just an idea, but maybe instead of zombies it should be an hydrogen bomb or something like that?

  • Sounds good to me!)

Bunny gave a look of surprise "Wait! Please no!" She growled and at that moment, wished she could shift. "I'm not a stupid spoiled brat! I'm just trying to regain my strength before i leave" She said "Besides, i didn't tell you to carry me off to your house, did i? Only reason i went over a stupid border was so i could escape from my pack. The one my father leads with a sore thumb." She had planned on leaving as soon as her strength was back. So she could shift

  • Coolio!

"I carried you here because I thought you needed help not because you wanted to have a little adventure." He snapped, bristling at her as he heard the world leave her mouth. "and that 'stupid' border you crossed put you into my territory. Where my family is, the one who you endangered by even crossing it in the first place. But it's obvious that you don't care about that-- or even thought about it for that matter." He snarled his voice disbelieving. "Are all werewolves this stupid? Or is she a special case?" He muttered to himself, dragging his hand over his face. He saved an idiot but an important one nonetheless and there was no way he could get himself out of this even if he did bring her back. He saved sometime though, since he carried her here so her scent stopped abruptly from where she last was. That would give him a few days at the least to try and figure out what to do with her. "--Come on." With a defeated sigh he began to walk to the log cabin that he lived in, trying to figure out what to say to his mother as well.

  • Bunny's brave face almost faltered as she caught his words of her being an idiot. Her raven ears lowered as she got up and looked at the ground. "I'm sorry.." She mumbled, now fully expecting him to yell at her. Maybe if he yelled at her, she would get used to how it was when her mother was alive. Always arguing with her father until she died from the last fight. Bunny'd almost been glad... Bad? Not really

  • "--I said come on." He repeated, not turning back to see if she was following. He wasn't in the mood to waste his breath on her anymore, just wanting to eat his mother's rabbit stew and take a bath. He most definitely deserved it after what he had been through today. "Mom, I'm back." He announced after he opened the door, seemingly in a better mood once he saw his mother's smiling face.

  • There it was. And now it was gone. Her flicker of possible hope for forgiveness? Nah. She nodded and followed behind. When she glanced up, she saw a small woman. Well. Not really small, just that she looked like it from where she was. She tilted her head in confusion and blinked. She could tell this woman was nice, but for how long would it be till this woman snapped at Bunny?

  • Bunny certainly has a negative out look on people lol.

"Who is she?" She asked curiously, in the process of laddeling rabbit stew into glass jars.

"A friend," He gave a noncommittal answer as he reached for one of the bowls in the cupboard which she kindly filled for him, letting him know that she baked some bread while he was out also reminding him to check on the smoked meat before he forgot.

"Have you eaten yet?" His mother asked Bunny, offering a kind smile as her son sawed off pieces of still-hot bread on the wooden cutting board behind her.

  • Bunny glanced up slightly before shrugging. She tried offering a slight smile at the mother, but deep down... It was only a matter of time. "Not really... Back at my family.. We didn't have very much to eat" That was true. She had a feeling this woman was.. Naive to the world outside. She leaned against the wall carefully, as if it would break. She held back tears as she remembered her own mother. Gritting her teeth, she looked up at the woman again "Thank you for the offer.. But i can't take food from others.." When did she have a change of heart? Probably when she saw the innocence written on the woman's face

Yeahh.. To her, mothers are betrayers. Back when she was younger, her mother wished she had died instead of being born )

  • Ooh so she has a mother complex.

"Eeh, have you all tried gardening?" She suggested with a tilt of the head, her hand cradling her cheek. "It's a sure fire way to solve any hunger problems! Thought it takes a bit for the results to arrive it's always worth it!" She said cheerfully, a disappointed look crossing her features. "That's nonsense! Look Ryland is even setting out your plate!" She chirped, her son doing his best not to grimace.

In actuality, Ryland was setting down his silverware not even considering to offer her a place at their table. "... Yeah, let me go get mine." He said through clenched teeth turning around to go get more silverware.

  • Bunny shrugged "You don't have to give me some food. I don't mind." She said before adding "I'm sure my family will love the garden idea." She looked to Ryland and shrugged before turning back to the mother and offering a half-hearted smile

    Yerp :3

  • "Nope, it'd be wrong for me not to, as a hostess and a mother." She said, stubbornly as she led Bunny to a chair. "It's bad to refuse someone's kindness you know." She hummed as she ladeled soup into Bunny's bowl, the scent of fragrant herbs and baked bread filling the air. The woman settled in her seat across from Ryland who was already shoveling food into his mouth.

  • Before the raven haired girl could blink, she was seated in a chair. She looked down at her food and took a bite of it, mumbling a small, but meaningful 'thank you'. She had never had anything cooked like this. She glanced up at the other two people, the mother and Ryland, as she ate and was wondering what their thoughts were. She figured Rylands thoughts on her being here were most likely not for young ears and his mothers thoughts... Well. She couldn't tell.

  • Ryland ate in relative silence, more focused on finishing his meal so he could finish up his chores take his bath and hit the hay. His mother on the otherhand, who introduced herself as Mistral, started up a conversation. "So how long are you staying with us?" She asked, almost missing the sharp cough of Ryland as he slammed his fist over his chest. "You shouldn't eat so fast!" She gently chided, her hand hovering in the air in a concerned manner.

"Yeah, sorry Mom." He mumbled reaching for his glass of water to take a few gulps. He was surprised at his mother's suggestion but knew he'd have to go along with it, knowing that once an idea settled in her head she'd stubbornly try to enact it. Once he was sure he wasn't going to die he reached for a sliced piece of bread out of the basket set in the middle of the table, sopping up what juices were left. "I'm going out to the smoke house." He annouced standing up to take his dishes to the sink and dissapearing out the door.

"There's fish in the ice box so use that along with the venison please, " She called after him, smiling when she hear his confirming reply from outside.

  • Bunny shook her head "I'm not so sure your son would like me to stay here..." She said softly, looking down at her lap "I dunno. Maybe if i work hard, like you and your son do, he might, might, let me stay a little while?" The innocence on Mistral's face made her rethink whether or not she would stay. Who could resist it? This woman seemed to be nothing like her mother at all.

  • "Why wouldn't he want you to stay? Did you two fight?" She asked curiously her lips pursed together in mid-sip as she didn't know what exactly was going on between them. She seemed to be looking forward to Bunny staying with them for however long, a warm smiling playing at her lips. She was probably excited because ot has been a while since she had properly interacted with another girl. "Well, while you eat I'll get your bath ready. You're probably exhausted..." She hummed beginning to stand, smoothing the folds out of the ankle length dress she wore as she picked up her dishes. "Oh! I don't think I got your name," She tilted her head to the side expectantly.

    That's messed up.

  • Mistral smiled, turning to the sink as she washed her dishes. "Well the you have to stay now, ao you two can make up-- and it's a pleasure to meet you Bunny." She hummed as she gently set the now clean dishes on the drying rack. "I'll start up your bath. You're welcome to eat more!" She hummed make her way to the back of the house where the bathroom was located.

  • Bunny blinked and then nodded gently before getting up. She curiously followed Ryland's mother to see what this 'bath' was. "Mistral, wh-whats a bath like?" She asked, almost afraid of being laughed at

I have a feeling that when Ryland and Bunny are alone, Bunny's gonna go killer bunny on him, but when she is in the presence of his mother, she'll act like an angel bunny

  • Lol sure.

"Hmmm, it's like washing up in a pond except the water is hot instead of cold." She explained opening the door to the bathroom. It was fairly small, but considering it was only for two people it was understandable. Mistral started the bath. "There's some towels and rags over there," She said pointing out a linen clost on the side of the room.

  • Bunny nodded and crept over to Mistral. She then wrapped her arms around the dear woman and smiled a little "Thank you for your kindness" she said, now going to grab a towel and cloth.
