Seagard. This was the place that Jaelynn had said her family lived. It was quite a nice place due to it being on the shores near the ocean. Though the beach areas were not his favorite terrain, it was still quite stunning. His red eyes looked over at the scenery as he stopped for a moment to admire it. If he was lucky this may be his new homeland. The one place he could consider a true home. Something he never truly had after the death of his sister.

Aaron soon continued making his way towards the edge of the castle grounds. He wasn't going to enter. No, he was smarter then that. This was her turf, and he wasn't going to just barge in. If he was to even possibly get accepted into this family then he had to show respect. It was as simple as that. He also knew being on her bad side would possibly be his last mistake. Besides, he also held a bit of respect for her in general. She wasn't overly cheery and talkative. No, she was more realistic and rational like he was. She was one of the few people he might actually get along with.

So, here he was at the edge of the castle grounds. He didn't want to call out to Jaelynn as he felt she might not appreciate that. He figured it would be best to simply wait for her to arrive instead. If he was right then it might be his best approach. She didn't seem displeased with him when they first met so hopefully she wouldn't be displeased now that he was waiting once again. This time though was different. This time he was waiting for her specifically. Hopefully she would accept him, but if she didn't then he would figure something out.

Indeed, Jaelynn appreciated his respect for her castle boundaries. In fact, the Mallister had always been a lover of borders and things. In her own kingdom, she had been known to execute specific instructions to punish those who had overstepped those boundaries. Of course, the woman had been forced to calm things slightly while in Westeros. They were not as brutal about bounderies and laws. And, although she would continue to enforce her brutal laws about theft and murder, she would be more forgiving of trespassers.

However, despite the fact that she was being forced to give up her strict tendencies, the icy figure felt a flicker of home when on one of her rounds, she caught sight of a familiar canine. "Aaron. Would brings you to Seagard?" the canine would question, words collected and calm as always. She would feel a flicker of excitement that the canine had the respect enough to wait for her to arrive. It was a little thing, yes, but was something that the head Mallister respected nonetheless.

Aaron had only waited for a few moments before he spotted the ivory canine approaching. Honestly, she was one of the very few he could absolutely tolerate. Though most found her cold, he found her to be rational. He, after all, wasn't really much of a trusting and kind person either. He had quite a temper, but was trying to hold it in a little for the moment. He didn't want to end up with enemies in his own group too quickly.

"I actually came to tell you something," He said as he still sat there keeping respectful and honest. He really was internally a bit nervous about the question. After all, he wasn't sure how she would react. If she didn't want him around then he would have to find another house to join. If she did then maybe he could be around someone he could tolerate. He had noticed that her house was small, and that was fine with him. Less people he had to deal with on a regular basis.

"If you will accept me, I wish to join your house," He said not hesitating to long after his previous sentence to say it. He figured she wasn't one that was fond of hesitation either. So, naturally he refused to hesitate and was confident in his words. It was true, he wished to join her house. He wasn't sure how things would go after this, or what he would end up doing for her. He just knew that this would likely be best for him. After all, there weren't many that he could actually tolerate immediately.

Before he even spoke, the Mallister had shifted into a more comfortable position, allowing her wings to relax faintly at her side. She wished to have good audience, after all, and saw no point in standing in case their discussion would continue especially long. However, the individual whom she had met upon the border appeared not to be such a person, and the femme found herself grateful for his right-to-the-point answers.

With a faint grin appearing upon her features, the icy creature would remain silent a moment, thinking. This fellow did show promise in his nature, and she knew it unwise to turn him away. "If you truly wish to join the Mallister's, then I will of course not turn you away. However, I must warn you that expect loyalty in my members. I do not ask much but for your loyalty to the house." the wolf rumbled, more a statement than an actual warning.

Indeed, the creature valued loyalty in her members, and honour to Westeros. But, the femme figured that just maybe, Aaron would end up being just that. "I ask that you please pledge your loyalty to the house Mallister, and to the High King of Westeros." the step required to be welcomed. If he did as such, the femme was ready to welcome him with open arms.

Aaron waited patiently as she seemed to think over his words. He wasn't really anxious or jittery or anything of the sort. No, he was quite calm. He was aware that he may be one of the few she seemed to be able to tolerate. At least, that was what it seemed. Jaelynn seemed to be able to remain respectful to him which was all he cared about. Most would probably pass him off as rude or something of that nature. In reality though he was just honest or had that uncaring tone.

As she spoke, he sat up slightly straighter. It seemed as though he had been accepted after all. He knew loyalty wouldn't be an issue for him. No, he was one of the most loyal people you could ever meet. Once he vowed to be loyal to someone he kept it. Loyalty was a serious thing to him as well, and he was one to keep his word.

"I fully pledge my loyalty to the house of Mallister, and to the High King of Westeros," He said without hesitation, and looked at her as he said so. He knew well that this was his calling. He was meant to become a part of something bigger then being his father's punching bag. This was exactly the thing he needed. Luckily, she was the one who could provide him with a life he couldn't have imagined of at a younger age.

The way in which he spoke, prideful and renewed, brought hope to Jaelynn. Maybe this canine would end up being not a weight, but a benefit to the Mallisters, and to Westeros as a whole. It would indeed be grand, after all, to have her daughter, her adopted brother, and this new canine to bring back honour to the Mallister name. It might take time, she knew, but she also knew that it would be worth it if they were finally able to succeed. And they would. Jaelynn wanted to promise that something terrible.

With a nod of her head, the figure would move to her paws once more, large wings ruffling, pleased. "Then in my power, welcome to House Mallister. From this point on you are free to officially take a room in Seagard if you wish, and you may also now take the Mallister name if you so desire to." the canine rumbled, voice official and carrying a pleased note to it. There was more of them now; enough to make them official when the time came!

For now however, the wolf was happy enough to simply settle her newest family member into their city if he so wished. "Would you like a tour, or would you rather explore the city yourself some more? If you have any other questions about our family too, you are free to ask away. I have great plans for us, I promise you."
