Bumps in the Night (Private w/ TheKawaiifan)

"Sorry!" Hau apologized before he rolled off of Gladion and quickly jumped to his feet, extending a hand out to help him up, "What are you still doing here? I thought you went back to Aether Paradise..."

"Yeesh, aren't you a ray of sunshine" Hau told him as he drew his hand back before straightening up, "Raichu and I were just doing the same thing."

"What Grubbin bit you in the butt?" Hau asked as his brow furrowed, confused as to why Gladion was so angry. "I wasn't even expecting you to be here... Besides I was trying to catch up with Raichu..."

(Wanna hear a headcanon I once read about Hau? I found it to be pretty fitting.)

OOC: It had to do with Hau being one of those people who aren't good with being yelled at. Unlike some, he finds it hard to defend himself when someone is really chewing him out... Meaning he won't talk back and rather would just stand there uncharacteristically quiet. If the yelling is really intense then he might even become teary-eyed, not because he's weak or a cry baby... He just doesn't know what to do.

My headcanon based off of that is that it came from when he saw Hala in a rage and didn't know what else to do other than burst into tears.

IC: Hau frowned slightly at Gladion before he sighed and shrugged his shoulders, "You know... If I bother you, you could just tell me rather than chew me out. I'm sorry I ran into you because I wasn't looking where I was going, I won't make the same mistake next time." With that said, Hau went to walk passed him and continue on after Raichu.

After Hau was out of earshot, a familiar voice spoke up from behind Gladion.

"Well, aren't you a bit of a Tsundere."

OOC: I think you did a great job of portraying that ^ ^ Speaking of the Mon thread, I'm sorry if I haven't replied yet... I've just been a bit low on muse for it so I'm trying to build that up so I don't keep giving you super short responses. And yep, it's Malu... Here to give Gladion a heart attack.

IC: Malu stood behind Gladion with a large, male Arcanine by he side. She had one brow raised at the teen and her arms against her chest, snickering a little when he had yelped.

The Arcanine however merely tilted his head when Gladion had turned to face the duo, his tail twitching behind him.

"Oh, this is Hoku by the way. Gladion, Hoku... Hoku, Gladion" Malu introduced as she gestured between them both before she place her hands on her hips.

"But seriously, dude... Ice cold."

"Which if you really knew him, you would know he doesn't do well when people yell at him" Malu told him with a frown.

"Whatever you say, Edgelord McGee..." Malu mumbled before she rubbed the side of Hoku's neck, "Let's go, bud." That said, she climbed up onto the Pokemon's back and he began to pad away in the direction that Hau went.

OOC: Short time skip.

After a day without any luck, Hau had begun to walk back home; the sun beginning to sink down as the day came to a close. All that time spent looking and he couldn't find a single clue as to what could of happened to the Rockruff, absolutely nothing... It was starting to look as if it really had disappeared into thin air.

Needless to say, Hau was a bit frustrated since he was really hoping to something... Anything to prove that Rockruff was okay. With a huff, he approached the front of his before going to open the door; his eyes catching something laying on the floor inside.

A piece of paper? He didn't remember that being there...

He picked it before unfolding and beginning to read its contents, a small smile slowly spreading around his face.

OOC: Yes he does X3 and yep.

By the next morning, three people reported that their Pokemon had gone missing; an elderly woman who couldn't find her Alolan Meowth, a younger lady was in search of her Corsola, and a little boy had burst into tears when unable to locate his Yungoos.

It was definitely a larger number than before, and just like with the lost Rockuff... There were no leads as to what could of happened to them. All of the owners said that their houses were located up tight and they had seen their Pokemon before they went to sleep that night. But even the outside lent no clues, not a trace of foot prints or anything could be found.

With four Pokemon missing now, three disappearing in the same night... It didn't seem like your average case of a Pokemon getting loose. Hau watched from in front of his house as people went about the town calling the names of the missing Pokemon, with no luck so far.

Now he was getting worried, what was happening?

"Yeah... I feel really bad for the people, I wouldn't know what to do if someone in my team went missing..." Hau commented.
