  • Sandstorm glanced to the queen, tail tip twitching. "Perhaps.. but our clan isnt exactly one of those star-loving ones either. Most of our laws are different."she stated. If you can get awwy with it, who cares aboht the code or our laws? She thought.

Coalpaw had somewhat overheard Deathclaw, the young tom's tail lashed. I may be clumsy, i may not be as good as Whitepaw, but i am also still learning.. All of my family was clumsy.. least i think they were..He shook his head, I will just have to show her how good of a warrior i will be! He padded over toward LoonThroat. "Morning, Loonthroat."he greeted.

  • POSTING;;

The warrior watched Deathclaw leave, grumbling under his breath before he heard someone else approaching. His eyes softened as he saw his apprentice, nodding lightly. "Coalpaw." He sighed, standing with a soft huff and flicking his apprentice on the ear with his tail. "Hunting or battle training today, Coalpaw?" He asked, looking at the younger cat carefully.

The tom looked about as he crunched his way into the bones of the dead critter, his white muzzle staining in red. He looked over at every cat who looked at him with narrowed eyes. One day those looks will be of fear and respect! Nothing less! His semi-thick tail lashed

Groaning, the fluffy black tom rolled over in his new nest. He blinked open an eye as sun filtered in, awakening him. He wondered for a moment where he was. Oh, I'm a warrior now...right, he reminded himself. Ashstorm had recently become a warrior and still really wasn't used to it. He parted his maw in a long yawn before stretching. He then made his way into the clearing. Ashstorm noticed his clanmates were already starting to awaken. He looked around camp, wondering if he should strike up a friendly conversation with someone. That's what he did every morning, anyways.

  • Very sorry for the inactivity! I had a medical emergency to take care of, and it took me a while to recover. If I'm still able to join this clan, I will, and I fiercely apologize for my absence.

  • Foxheart blinked her eyes into focus and stood up in the Warriors den. She padded out of the entrance, spotting the dark form of a tom. She nodded to him in a curt greeting andsat just outside in the clearing.

Foxheart flicked her tail, gesturing his wandering eyes over.

"A lovely day, is it not?" She asked softly, feeling more social and friendly than usual. I must have gotten a great sleep last night.

He turned to look at the she-cat. "Yeah, it's pretty great," He meowed cheerfully. Except for the fog. I wish it'd go away, he thought, looking back up at the grey sky. "Hey, want to go hunting later?" Ashstorm asked. I haven't went out to hunt since my ceremony, he thought.

  • Saltkit squealed as he tore though the opening of the nursery, white pelt fluffed out and making the usually skinny tom look twice his age. Fallenkit, who's fur was much shorter, bounded out after him. The two kits trilled and chased each other around the camp until a particular fluffy white kit slammed head-first into Lucidstar's leg. "Oomph!" He fell back, slightly dazed until he looked back up at his leader, and his lips quickly spread in an unapologetic smile. "Sorry, Lucidstar!" He squeaked before streaking off after his sister again.

Stagthroat, never one to show much emotion, watched the two kits as they ran and played in the clearing, the corner of his mouth twitching as Fallenkit scrambled over Whitepaw to hide behind the larger cat while Saltkit stalked her tail. The warrior's green eyes flickered over to the other cats in the clearing as he raised a paw. He drew his tongue over it and began washing his ears, eyes ever watchful of the kits.

Mottledjaw yawned widely as she stumbled out of the warrior's den, tail lashing as she realized she'd slept in. Blue eyes almost the exact same shade as Fallenkit's landed on her two siblings and narrowed. Those two were almost ready to be apprenticed; they should act their age. She huffed and made her way over, not bothering to shake the scraps of dead grass and moss from her pelt. "Don't antagonize those older than you," she said, voice still young but still holding the authority of a much older cat despite being made a warrior only a moon ago. "He may very will be your mentor one day; you don't want to get on his bad side now," she advised, tail flicking in annoyance.

  • He growled softly at Fallenkit and Saltkit. He flicked his ears at Molttedjaw. "She is wise." He beared his fangs and stood up, leaving his large piece of prey half eaten before pushing one kit away from him with a bit of force. "You are both very weak. Playing around makes you weak. Makes your mind weak." He got closer to them. "Weak kits get fed to the dogs."

  • Saltkit paused and looked up at the larger tom with wide eyes, tail fluffing out in more than his previous excitement. Fallenkit huffed as she got pushed over, but almost immediately bounced back up, not taking the time to hesitate before flying at Whitepaw and crashing into his side as hard as a five moon old kit could. But her claws were long for her age and she managed to sink them into his thick coat and prick the skin. "Go ahead and try to feed me to the dogs!" She growled, clambering on his back and crouching low on his shoulders where he wouldn't be able to reach her with his paws. "I'll bring it back as freshkill!" She declared, growing and biting at the apprentice's ears. Mottledjaw gave a soft purr and reached over, plucking her younger sister off of the tom and setting her down. "Good," she praised, and Fallenkit puffed up in pride as she beamed at the warrior. "Keep that determination, and we'll make a warrior of you yet." She frowned at Saltkit, who was still staring wide-eyed at Whitepaw. "You should try to be more like her, Saltkit," she hissed, and the little white kit nodded a bit too fast before turning and racing towards the medicine den, the tip of his tail disappearing into it. Fallenkit, headless of anything wrong, simply laughed and chased after him, leaving Mottledjaw and Whitepaw staring after them. The warrior snorted. "Chasing after the position of medicine cat; figures," she sneered before sitting down and flicking a scrap of moss off her ears.

  • He had laughed slightly at the young Kit's stunt. He wasnt that much older than them. Almost 3 moons. He snorted. "She brings a stain to her sister. Fallenkit will have to fight for the both of them for no one to call her weak and a helpless fool like Saltkit." He held alot off distain

  • "Battle training."Coalpaw immediately replied. The tom didn't need to think twice on it, the quickest way to-earn respect was through probing your skills. If he couldnt hunt very well, perhaps he could fight sonewhat well.

The leader didn't parricularly care when the kit ran into her merely gave a soft 'watch where you are going' before focusing on the ceremonies she would have to give.. Lucidstar sighed as she heard MottledJaw, "MottledJaw, a medicine cat are equally as needed as warriors. And medicine cats are far from cowardly."She scolded, then turned her gaze to their new queen, Shadewhisker. These cats do not understand the importance of our medicine cat.. It is why i am giving him an apprentice. As we need to ensure we keep a strong connection to our dark forest ancestors.

"Whitepaw,"the leader hissed, eyes narrowing on the tom. "Considering your warrior ceremony is tonight, i would watch what you say or you will be spending another moon in the apprentice den."she warned, tail lashing. "As for you, mottledjaw, you should be proud that saltkit is chasing after the position of medicine cat. They are needed equally as much as every warrior as without a medicine cat more of us would die on battles and from sickness, our kits wouldnt be very healthy, and our connection with our ancestors would be practically nonexistent."she warned the shecat, "Rougarou moght need some help.. i want both of you to go and help him."she told the pair. Her eyes narrowed on them.

  • Oakfur watched the dispute from the fresh-kill pile. His yellow eyes narrowed as he watched the two kits scamper off, and Lucidstar pad over to scold the warriors. He snorted, turning away with his lips drawn--thankfully the noise was lost in the wind as he got to his paws. Every cat knows Medicine cats are linked to their ancestors. He grumbled, padding over to Lucidstar. They could meet one of those shadow warriors in the forest for all anyone cares. "Lucidstar." He greeted once their leader had stopped on her scolding--making sure NOT to interrupt. Might as well be useful. "The fresh-kill pile needs some restocking. Prey's waking up at this point, too." He reported, torn ear twitching as it was obvious he was asking for a hunting patrol, though he didn't outright say it. Per usual for Oakfur. He also failed to mention how half of the prey turned to crowfood, figuring everyone would see for themselves.

  • Mottledjaw snickered at Whitepaw's words, tail flicking in both amusement and agreement before she looked up as Lucidstar spoke to them. She dipped her head respectfully, careful not to show her general annoyance at the leader's interruption. In her opinion, medicine cats got far too much credit. If cats were stupid enough to get themselves injured or sick enough that they needed someone to help them, then they deserved to die. As Whitepaw had said, you had to fight in order to not be seen as weak. "Yes, Lucidstar," she said quietly, taking the 'punishment' with grace as she stood, tail flicking Whitepaw's shoulder by way of asking him to follow her without arguing with the leader. She trotted after her siblings, only the tip of her tail twitching giving away her annoyance.

Stagthroat stood and made his way over to the leader coming to stand beside and a little behind Oakfur, saying without words that if there was to be a hunting patrol. he wouldn't mind being on it. He gave a polite nod to Shadewhisker, green gaze falling on her behind his leader. He almost hadn't noticed the queen was there with him so focused on the small drama. He made a mental note to bring her back something fresh; she was carrying kits, after all.

  • He didn't look the leader in the face, but as soon as he turned away and followed the molly he shares ideals with, he narrowed his eyes. He didn't think they needed a medicine cat. Just a useless cat who tends to the weak. "The weak help the weak." He mumbled. "The strong are slain by the stronger." He followed and looked to the tom. To be honest he could care less. Anyways the young Apprentice, soon to be warrior, had a terrible and violent plan formulating in his mind.

  • ★ ★ ★ Loonthroat smirked at Coalpaw's near-immediate response, nodding his head approvingly. "Alright then. Let's get moving." Loonthroat was fond of his apprentice, and anyone in the clan could see as much. While it hadn't yet reached a point of becoming a weakness, his pride in the young tom grew as the younger cat did.

Heading out of the camp, knowing Coalpaw would follow, Loonthroat mulled over something to teach the apprentice. Something new, something Coalpaw could use to his advantage and to stump his opponents. "Coalpaw, just to get warmed up I want you to attack me. Don't hold back, but don't use your claws." He meowed, glancing back at Coalpaw as he spoke.

I DIDN'T ASK FOR YOUR SYMPATHY I ASKED FOR YOUR FIRE !

  • "Exactly," Mottledjaw muttered back, snorting as she pushed into the den. "Rougarou, Lucidstar says you need help," she announced, purposefully mixing her words to sound less of an offer of help and more of an accusation, as if the medicine cat were so helpless he needed the help. But she was careful to make sure her eyes didn't betray the amusement she felt, keeping them blank as she sat down in the corner of the den to make room for Whitepaw.

Shadewhisker simply nodded as Lucidstar mentioned that she'd already prepared a nest in the nursery. "Thank you, but... Lucidstar, what of I'm not ready?" the young queen asked, looking up at leader with a hint of fear in her eyes.
