He knew he said that this would only be with Hawkclan but had also decided to invite Blizzardclan as well. All he had to do was make the invitations and then travel on over to the places but for now he was busy setting up for the whole event. The beach was relatively clean from all of their efforts to clean it up. Still it was far from what it used to be and their main came was still flooded but hopefully things would work out for the better. He had found some fairy lights and had strung them up over some of the palm trees that grew close by as well as he found some lanterns and tiki torches to light up the night. The stars hung brightly in the air and cast their own light along with a half crescent moon in the sky. The ocean waves seemed rather calming to night and he hoped that everything went alright. The leader then busied himself with laying out blankets and some dishes for the clans to come and try. Mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and a turkey. His clanmates were welcomed to bring their own dishes as well since this was a potluck and meant to be exploratory with foods. He also set up a drink station with tea, water, soda, juice, and even some alcoholic beverages. Midnight dipping was also in effect here considering the ocean was so close and he sighed as he sat down, ears pulled forward. Well, the potluck was read and anyone could join him.

Littlestar had spent under an hour making Oreo fudge. Originally, she'd intended for it to be Oreo cookies or some shit but she'd found condensed milk, her own stash of Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips. Plus, the recipe was relatively easy to do. So she'd made it and once the batch was done and dusted, she headed on over. Her fur was slightly slicked back but other then that, the females appearance remained grungy and slightly matted. That combined with all her scars and missing body parts was a little unnerving. But she had been to Riverclan before so she was assuming they'd know she was the Leader of Hawkclan (or just a Hawkclanner) and not some rogue trying to clash a clan thing. With oreos tucked in her armpit, the Monarch finally arrived. Pretty territory but right now it was looking a little more then devastated. Her golden eyes widened and she followed the tikki torches to the moonlit beach. Huh. She was the first to arrive and after looking around, she realized this way she could converse with Desmond. She hadn't properly talked to the other Leader anyways. She deposited the Oreo fudge on the table with the other food and limped on over to Desmond. He seemed quite tall, muscular.. like a soldier. The way he stood reminded her of some war character in a movie. "Yo. I'm Littlestar.. we haven't really talked before." The informal leader grunted, waving a paw, her non smiling face rather interested in his own. "Nice fuckin' setup though, man."

Heatherpaw had originally been unsure on whether or not he would attend. As the designated time for the potluck ticked closer, the youth decided then that he would come after all. He supposed he was lucky that he had prepared some food before then. He had made a snack he thought some people might like. It was called Pig's Blood Cake. Despite it not actually being a cake (rather it was on a stick) it was rather good. It had been hard to get the peanut flour though... The Gejanju would show up with what he had made being pulled along by a wagon. Of course, naturally, he couldn't carry what he made since he was rather small in comparison, but he managed just fine with the wagon. He spied Desmond sitting on the beach as well as someone unfamiliar smelling. As he neared, he could hear her introduce herself to the doberman. "U-Uhm... hi Desmond. Hello, Littlestar. I'm g-gonna go put my dish over there..." He dipped his head quickly towards them as he moved along to put his food where the others were.
He gazed up at the starry sky as he finished placing his plates on the tables, his elongated ears flicking idly before he turned. The night was nice and the weather felt just right for something like this. Heatherpaw didn't think he'd be eating much from the event, but he was rather certain he would have a good time even if he didn't eat anything. He'll just enjoy himself as it was and maybe talk to some creatures from the other clans.

Maybe it was best if Shining didn't bring something for the potluck. Or, at least attempt to cook something. He was no chef- he'd probably fail at making something simple. Like pre-packaged mac & cheese. 'Just add water' was just too complicated of an instruction. So the tom would stick with something he was comfortable with; trail mix. No, not the stuff one might find in cities. The real stuff. Berries and nuts of different kinds, picked and harvested from the wild. All mixed together in a small bowl, which he carried over to the rest of the food. Shining's diet had grown from mostly meat to mostly fruits and vegetables. It was strange, he didn't know why his taste had gradually shifted.
Not feeling hungry enough quite yet, the winged feline turned away from the table and let his eyes quickly gaze over the growing crowd. A few people were gathering together to engage in conversation- two in particular that he took attention to. Desmond, the Riverclan leader. And Littlestar, the Hawkclan leader. Yikes. Well, Shining had expected her to come along- there was food, after all. Ah, sorry Lit. Maybe later... he thought to himself, casually slipping himself into the midst of the crowd, away from view. They couldn't talk quite yet. Of course, she already knew this, if she had listened to his message.
Unfortunately, Shining's powers were missing at the moment. So there was no way to mentally or spiritually hide his presence... Maybe the Oreos would distract her long enough.

Cass - Maned Wolf - Shapeshifter - Riverclan - TAGS
Cooking wasn't Cass's strong suit. Sure, Cass was the type of person who ate a lot and really enjoyed food. However, the maned wolf had no idea what to even do for this potluck. She wanted to do something that involved some of the fresh foods that they had on the island. Maybe something with the fruits and vegetables, or maybe even something to do with the fish? And after sitting around for a few days with no idea of what to do, Cass decided to make a sushi of some sort.
Making it was a lot harder than she thought. And considering she wanted to make some sort of sushi roll that featured the fruits and vegetables that would grow on the island, it would take a lot more work than just fish and rice. Truthfully, Cass had to get someone else's help to cook the rice and to help clean all of the fish. After that, she was completely on her own.
It didn't turn out as bad as she thought they would. Sure, things were cut up unevenly and one of the rolls looked oddly lumpy and some of the rice was falling off, but it was her first try. Each of them featured some fresh fish and some fruits and vegetables from the island. They both had different types of sauce as well. One of them was a spicier one while the other was a more fruity sweet one. She made two of each kind since she wasn't sure how many people were going to show up. Truthfully, the sushi rolls didn't taste bad. Although, the main issue was that they looked way worse than they tasted.
As she made it to the potluck, Cass put down the plate of sushi and looked over everything else on the table. Everyone else's sure looked better than her own food. She decided to move away from a table, just so she could wait to see whatever else people would bring. She figured she might as well try and find some place to sit, or at least figure out somebody to talk to while she waited.

Wow, this sure was a pretty setup. Val looked around at all of the decorations with wide eyes as well as took in all of the smells. They weren't bad, but the cub was just getting used to meat, so he wasn't keen on trying other strange foods. As he scanned the scene, Valemon recognized a few, but one really stood out. "Hello, Littlestar!" he greeted as he approached the she-cat, unaware he might be interrupting any discussion the leaders were holding.

♥ ―The sound of voices was what had the female on alert. She didn't trust anyone, not yet anyways. So, the girl would stand and move silently towards the voices. Her eyes calm and movement silent. Was this an ambush? Was this a trap? She didn't want to get caught by, well, them. She knew they were out there. Looking for her. Wanting to silence her forever. Yet, they hadn't found her yet. The girl came out of the shadows silently. Spotting the clan gathered for a feast of some nature and the she-devil was clearly studying the scene.
Her hood hid her face, the Deadpool symbol on it was the only clue to who she was, for her clan at least. The silver shoulder guards and silver belt with black and red cloth hanging from it added to her look. The white katana and black katana formed an x over her back, and her hidden blade was at the ready. It was hidden under her tail. The female moved over and stopped on the edge of the gathered. "Hmm."

Littlestar heard another riverclanner speak her name and turned her head to the side just in time to see Heatherpaw, an unfamiliar, greet both her and Desmond and place his food amongst the others. "Yo." Littlestar responded, waving a paw at him, golden eyes flickering from his face and then to the odd cake thing he'd put down. Damn, she couldn't wait to dig in. Her stomach was giving little growls of approval. Her eyes traveled around the scene and maybe if she'd been quicker, she would've caught a familiar flash of white fur, wings... but she didn't. She missed out on seeing the person she had believed to be gone for a while now. Her attention was once more snatched by a Riverclanner, some little kid she recognized from that time she'd came up to Riverclan for an ambassadors thing. She was proud to say she could remember his name. Valemon! But she was gonna call him Val to make it easier for her crooked jaw. "Hey Val. How's things going for ya?" Littlestar inclined her head, eyes warm.

&& I found in you, what was lost in me !
Obscuro was a riverclanner, hell; she was the new deputy here, but her appearance here was in the stand in as a hawkclanner, if it weren't obvious enough by the fresher scent of hawkclan i that was on her fur, then the bat hawk that perched on her slightly stretched wing was a clear sign. A bright smile fitted the beast's muzzle as she settled down to setting her own dish to the side. Butterscotch. Obscuro didn't much enjoy sweets, but the idea of a potluck- she assumed enough people would bring along their own savory favorites, and Obscuro's sweet tooth was just a little to hard to ignore.
Of course, she had prepared enough for a few people, but not enough if the entirety of all three clan's showed up. She smiled pleasantly at her clanmates, from both clans, her eyes meeting towards littlestar and giving an encouraging smile. Well, it seemed little leader was quite popular today. Obscuro turned her attention to the table of food already set, and her eyes narrowed as she noted her bird trying to tear apart someone's turkey and munch on it happily. Obscuro rolled her eyes at the bird playful, turning her attention slightly off to the side as she watched shining turn away into a crowd, she wondered what that was about. Wondered if she should intervene.

Apollo was quite happy to attend the potluck. However, he wasn't a RiverClanner and was actually from BlizzardClan. He still considered himself a newcomer to the clan but he wasn't too shy on trying to make friends. When the invitations for BlizzardClan had come in he was quick to pick himself up and head over. However, he wasn't too sure on if he should bring something or not. He was definitely not a cook and he didn't want to poison anybody with his horrible cooking. However, he felt a bit lost and didn't exactly know who to approach or who to talk to or any of that. The canine had hesitated a little when he approached the area. However, he did like the look of the setup and especially liked the tiki torches.
He felt a bit bad for not bringing anything but he really did not want to poison somebody. Apollo had on a red tie and had actually taken to grooming himself for once. His bandanna was also tied around his neck with the knot in the front and the 'scarf' part of it laying on the back of his neck. He was totally up for this but he didn't exactly know where to start so the canine kind of just awkwardly stood off to the side, close by to the food, quietly observing everything.

♤ ♣ ♡ ♦ -Honestly, this was one of those things that made the small feline nervous. She barely knew anyone, and it was kind of nerve wracking. She wasn't going to let her anxiety get to her though. No, she was going to do this. After all, it was good to meet allies and get to know them. She reminded herself of that, and walked into the potluck with a small, but bright smile on her face.
Alice herself had brought quite a batch of mint chocolate chip cookies with her. Sure, she didn't cook often but she figured it would be best. If she could cook then she should bring something to the potluck. So, she resorted to cookies with fresh mint from her own garden.
She went over to the items of food, and set hers down among them. Once she got that done she looked around the area taking in the unfamiliar faces. Well, except for Apollo's as he was from BlizzardClan as well.
Speaking of which, she went over to Apollo smiling as bright as ever. At least she knew someone. If she knew no one then she probably would have just spent time by herself until someone tried talking to her.
"Why hello, Apollo!" She greeted as she went over to the seemingly nervous canine. Hopefully they both will figure out a way to socialize with others. If not then maybe they can just socialize with each other.

Matthias was a new RiverClanner, but made a dish nonetheless. Sure, he wasn't a cooker, but he tried. Placing down a(n) (burnt) apple pie, he grinned at his new Clanmates, and the allies. Seeing the drinks, his grin grew even wider as he went to go grab a soda, taking a sip of the bubbly goodness. Spotting Obscuro (someone he already knew, thank God), he padded over. "Heyo! What's shakin'?" The doberman asked, taking a sip of his soda again.

How did you know Oreos were Darth's favoriteOh, man, he didn't want to be here- but he was second fiddle to Obscuro so he had to be here. Potluck meant food and the flooded caverns meant his feeding tube had been unwatered- and still being disinfected at this moment. Ivan followed after him, nudging his leg as he brooded at the food and felt bad for his tired self.
Ivan slowly nudged him away from the food, and the bear followed as he approached Valemon, stopping when he stood over the cub. "I see you've met my son, Littlestar."

How were things? Such a simple question elicited an entire story for an answer. "My silly bird was breaked and then my daddy and Doctor Beau made it get better with stitches and bandaid! I taked the bandaid off this day and silly bird was better!" he recounted, telling the leader of how the wing had fallen off his toy and fixed by his father. Just as he was mentioned, Anakin appeared. And, it seemed that he knew Littlestar, too! Smiling up at his father, Valemon waited for the feline's response.

? ✧ ? — A pot luck? Man, he had not heard those words for a long time.
A pot luck? That's like a buffet, but you can bring your own food, right? Doug sure hoped so, since he already had three dishes cooked up. See, Doug embraces his culture, so, before making the servings, he thought What better way to introduce myself to allies than showing them how Canadian I am?. There was one thing savoury that Doug had made, and two things that were sweet: He made poutine, for those who want a hot meal, and home-made BeaverTails and Nanaimo Bars along for some sacchariferous experiences.
The beaver was wondered what Riverclan and Hawkclan's reaction would be to a beaver. It seemed like nobody in Blizzardclan knew what one was.
Upon arrival in the new alien environment, Doug followed the directions on the invite, and when he got to the beach, he lay his foods down on the table (and placed a small folded peice of paper that had a Canadian Maple Leaf on it to signify the Canadian-ness). He greeted everyone with a hello and eyed a bottle of beer and the oreo fudge. The oreo fudge looked delicious. As he grabbed the beer, he took some fudge and placed it in his mouth. And the taste was so surreal, you'd think you had died and went to heaven.
Doug spotted Alice, someone he knew from Blizzardclan, and someone else that had the Blizzardclan scent, and strolled on over to them. "Hey there, guys!", he said merrily.

Arno had never been to a potluck before, the only things he knew of them was that you were supposed to bring a dish of food and there was almost always take out pizza. With training under the Brotherhood for a large duration of his life, the bobcat didn't have much time for social affairs in his past. Of course, once he joined the snowy depths of BlizzardClan, he was able to join in on such occasions. This happened to be the first of them.
Carrying a rather large platter of ratatouille and Merlot wine, the feline appeared shortly after the Canadian beaver. He glanced around the room, looking for the place where he could set down his rather hot dish. Finally spotting it, he tucked his way over to it, offering anyone who made contact with him a small smile. If anyone looked close enough, they might have noticed a disgusted look on the bobcat's face at the selection of food. It was all so... bland. Shifting his eyes to look at something else, anything else, the feline noticed a small group of his clanmates, and immediately made his way over to them.
"Bonjour," he greeted to the two, a soft smile appearing on his features. He didn't know either of them well, but felt more comfortable in their presence. "Hope you two are doing well?"

♤ ♣ ♡ ♦ -Alice glanced over to see Doug approaching, and smiled as bright as ever at him. Honestly, she was quite happy to see others from her clan. It made things much more comfortable. After all, she really wasn't acquainted with any of the other clan's members. So, naturally she kept with her own clan. Well, unless someone decided to try introducing themselves to the group.
"Why hello Doug!" She greeted in a cheerful tone before noticing Arno. She didn't know him well, but to have him around was making things easier. The familiar scent of BlizzardClan members made her much more relaxed.
"Hey there, Arno!" She greeted and listened to his next sentence. "I'm doing quite well, how are you?" She said not speaking for the others. Honestly, she had no right to. They were their own entities so they could answer for themselves. Not being rude, she just didn't want to speak for them and say the wrong thing.
