welcome ..
Welcome to ColouredClan! ColouredClan is a dynamic anti-clan living in a colourful lakeside town surrounded by six unique biomes. Despite their cruelty and power this anti-clan retains elegance and creativity. They have militaristic roots and a goal to create a colourful empire.
history ..
ColouredClan was originally founded by Paintedstar, the queen at the time. Before the clan died from poison in both their food supply and water, ColouredClan had been lead as a kingdom. They lived in a great castle and were ruled by the haughty queen for several moons. Her daughter, Ebonlight, had grown to be quite jealous over the fact that she had not been picked as Princess beneath her mother. So, having found out about the poison in both the food and water, placed there by humans, she was reluctant to tell the others. As her clan members started to die, Ebonlight entered her mother's chamber and they conversed. Paintedstar, on her deathbed, admitted that she had never wanted to die this way, and that Ebonlight should have been princess, and that her father would be ashamed of her for not doing what was right. Saddened by this, Ebonlight ended her mother's suffering with three deathberries. There, she swore to lead ColouredClan again.
After two years of searching, she found an abandoned city. There, she recruited rogues, loners, kittypets and the like for her cause - all animals from each species were accepted within ColouredClan, and it was there in the city that they founded ColouredClan once more. After this, Ebonlight sought out the 'moon crystal' as Paintedstar had called it, and received her lives as a leader and became Ebonstar. Now that the clan has been founded, Ebonstar has deemed it a neutral clan - not anti, or pro. Moons passed and the clan fell into the slums of inactivity due to the newly named Dovestar (formerly Ebonstar). The cause of this was due to her growing night terrors over the gods, whom plagued her like a curse. She ran to her step-father, Permafrost, knowing well of his angelic self. Although he pitied her, he could no nothing in the mortal realm that could cease this, so they came to a pause and agreed that he would kill her and absorb her spirit to keep her safe from the gods. In return, he took over ColouredClan - deeming it an anti-clan and raising its activity significantly.
Many months later, Permafrost resigned himself from the position of Commander, and promoted his son, Imperialexecution, in his place. He introduced the rank Ensign before leaving fully, and made Impavidimagination the first Ensign of ColouredClan. With Imperialstar as the new leader, Colouredclan was, once again, brought into a greater era. He helped give their clan's name a true meaning, by moving them to an oasis of bright, vivid colours. There he had continued to lead with his wisdom and tactics, eventually declaring war on Sunclan to show that not even a large clan could stand against them.
Not all good leaders could last, however. Imperialstar's reign eventually came to an end as he was killed. The reasons are still unknown to all of the Colouredclanners except one known as Heliotropesun. Imperialstar had strangely been in the presence of this male as his life ebbed away, asking him to temporarily stand as Colouredclan's leader alongside Zenith. Eventually, though, Heliotropesun stepped down from his position due to his disliking for leadership. And so her rule begun.
Zenith, now Primalstar, had helped strengthen the clan by implementing a new combat system, with the help of a few other Colouredclanners. From there, she primarily focused on the war between Sunclan, trying to further improve her clan's power in both brawn and numbers. However, her reign proved to be short with a sad ending as well. She fell without a fight, succumbing to a curse that surrounded her with stone, until she was nothing more than a statue. Though one can find her within the leader's room, leaping off into the air before she was fully frozen, there was no more use of her. So, for the fourth time this year, a new leader stepped up to the plate, a woman named Impavidstar, she requested peace in the war later in her reign, however was turned down. Later, on New Year's Day, 2016, she fell on a spike of stone and bled to death. With that, Lucinda's reign began.
A new year seemed to mark a new era for ColouredClan. Lucinda grew to be the new face of ColouredClan and quickly settled into her new leadership role, which she had been long preparing for since she had been promoted to Vice-Leader. With she, as their diplomatic yet playful Commander, the female asked once again for a truce with SunClan, which she had been against since the very beginning. With SunClan and ColouredClan on peaceful terms, Lucinda worked to strengthen allies and make the clan a fun and safe place for both the newer and older members. With her leadership coming to an end, Luci made a last attempt at reinstating the Anti-Clan ways ColouredClan once grew to love. On March 18th, 2016, Lucinda chose to step down, bidding her farewell to the leadership and clan she devoted herself to since childhood and chose to live a smaller, more relaxing life - some can find her happiness lingering in the lakeside house that once belonged to her, which became home to a library and a place where members can conduct experiments using the remainder of her supplies, which was seemingly endless. As for the leader position, it was passed onto her nephew, Yuri, who began as the new Commander of ColouredClan.
Throughout Yuri's leadership, he installed various forces, such as the four coloured forces in Colouredclan, used for combat. He also made various alliance changes, enforcing Lucinda's previous idea of being a true anti-clan throughout his reign. However, as his leadership drew to an end, the position was then passed on to Nighttales.
As leader, Nighttales held steady alliances and proved to be a diplomatic leader for Colouredclan. He introduced the ambassador system and kept Colouredclan prosperous until his sudden passing. He left the clan to Euphemia who had a fleeting reign over Colouredclan until Frightfur undertook the role as the next Commander of Colouredclan.
Frightfur's role as leader was great, but soon it came time for Volatiletimes to take the throne. In another addition to the line of leaders, Volatiletimes has stepped down and appointed Nefariouspaw to take over as commander, making him Nefariousstar. Despite his young age Nefariousstar proved to be an admirable leader and changed the ranks to suit in with their colorful name so become Lord Prism. Sadly his reign was short lived as he suddenly disappeared which left his mentor Dimitri to step up to take over the clan after him as the new Lord Prism.
Dimitri added various new traditions to Colouredclan, redefining the group and giving them a new type of belief system. The clan dropped to a state of inactivity. Dimitri also held a dual alliance with Bloodclan and near the end of his leadership he betrayed the Bloodclan leader, Jackdaw, and fled away- leaving Colouredclan without a leader or second-in-command… The remaining members along with old returning members grouped together to revitalize Colouredclan. The group decided on an abundance of new ideas for the clan in addition to a return to its past traditions. Out of the group, Yuri emerged as the new leader and so he began his second reign over Colouredclan.
territory ..
ColouredClan's territory is one that brings meaning to their name. It is a sprawling landscape made up of many, many different biomes, sporting different colours and climates.
MAIN CAMP — COLOUR TOWN [IMAGE REFERENCE]
The main camp borders a large lake in the center of the territory and is a colourful network of houses that climb up a stone hill. Many small side-alleys wind through the little town and steps carry up and down the different levels of camp. The houses in the town are the Colouredclanners’ residences and clan members can choose to bunk with friends or pick houses of their own. At the bottom of the camp, nearest the lake, is a dock with abandoned boats that are in relatively good repair. This enables easy travel across the massive lake for those who cannot swim.
BIOME ONE — [IMAGE REFERENCE]
Located to the west of the territory, this is a dry, arid, windy, colourful landscape that is known for its unique animal inhabitants. There is very little water in this territory, and though in the valleys it is rather warm, climbing up the mountains sees temperatures plummet to near-zero even in summer, and below it in winter. Miraculously, no snow touches this biome, despite the cold.
BIOME TWO — [IMAGE REFERENCE]
Biome two is an unusual forest indeed. The tree trunks are black and the leaves are too; the grass is midnight blue. The only flowers that grow are daffodils with deep green stems and vibrant yellow heads. It is a place of death and reflection. It's permanently autumn here with a cool chill in the air and no wind whatsoever.
BIOME THREE — [IMAGE REFERENCE]
This biome is to the south of the territory, with a river winding through it that branches from the lake by the main camp. Everything here is red, with vibrant crimson bushes and mosses that cover the ground all around. It's a lush, moderate area, with mild, forgiving seasons and plenty of rain.
BIOME FOUR — [IMAGE REFERENCE]
Up north, past the main camp and into the higher portions of the territory, ice blankets the land. Here there are plenty of openings to underground cave systems with rushing water and eerie labyrinths of ice. It's a surreal, tranquil land with no rain and creatures can find some sort of almost uneasy solace here.
BIOME FIVE — [IMAGE REFERENCE]
Located in the south east, bordering biome three, this also-lush biome is a pleasant refuge with bright reds, yellows and greens. This is one of the safer biomes and is a main hunting ground.
BIOME SIX — [IMAGE REFERENCE]
This biome is on the outskirts of ColouredClan. It surrounds the territory like a defensive border. Mountainous rocky pillars ascend into the sky and a lush forest lies below. The huge natural pillars create somewhat of a labyrinth around the borders. The biome offers a safe place for flight and climbing practice and is an ideal training ground.

Titles:
ColouredClan’s title system is tiered and there are three titles available to be earned. Each title has specific requirements that must be met before a character can earn it. The titles are Red Berserker, Yellow Shining, and Blue Tormentor. The complete information about ColouredClan’s titles can be found in this thread: link.
Blue Tormentor is the final and most valuable title in ColouredClan. There is a stone statue of a feline standing upon a large shield with a sword crossed over it in Colour Town. The stone feline’s head is held proudly and its tail dangles as it perches upon the stone shield and sword beneath it. The statue is located in front of the docks in Colour Town. The stature sits upon a stone pedestal with a plaque. Upon the plaque are the engraved names of all Blue Tormentor title holders (present and past) as well as all of ColouredClan’s past leaders. This statue honors the greatest warriors of ColouredClan for all of time. Here is the link to the statue’s plaque: link.
traditions ..
Religion
ColouredClan practices no set religion. Members are allowed to believe and follow anything they wish to.
Anti-Clan
ColouredClan identifies as an anti-clan and holds anti-clan policies close. ColouredClan strays from the routine good alignment and possess a refined evil alignment. Raids, captures, and tortures are encouraged on enemy groups yet tend to not be done fruitlessly or without any reason. Any member of ColouredClan may hold raids on official enemies. Captures are allowed on enemy clans/groups as long as the character captured is not a child too young to defend themselves. Tortures are allowed and may be made public. Although, ColouredClan frowns upon the torturing of children characters. Raids are frequent ways to show power and cruelty to those who deserve ColouredClan’s fury.
Colorful Bandanas
All members of ColouredClan are given bandanas up on joining or being born into the clan. Members can wear their bandanas in any fashion they choose such as on the forearm, around their neck, tied around their tail, etc. or members may choose to not regularly wear their bandana and instead keep it within their home or stored away elsewhere. Regular members all wear grey bandanas while the high positions of the clan have bandanas dyed colors that coordinate with their ranks.
Group Combat Style
ColouredClan exhibits a militaristic style of battle that focuses on the cooperation of comrades and strategy. The clan has a focus on group power rather than individual power. The clan fights as a group and may even have formations or squads of members fighting together. Colouredclanners are aware of each other on the battlefield and are interacting with each other, as well as their enemies. Rather than it being every creature for themselves, ColouredClan uses group tactics to overwhelm and defeat opponents.
OOC Raid Rules/Conditions
Most (but not all) raids held by ColouredClan have rules implemented in the thread. These rules help create a more meaningful and fun raid for the members. These raid rules may also be borrowed and used by other groups/clans for raids or when raiding ColouredClan.
RAID RULES:
- This raid will have an end result, meaning a winning and losing side will be determined.
- A winner of the raid will not be determined until either: 1) One side surrenders/retreats. A surrender can only be called by someone with the authority to do so such as the raid leader (player who led/posted the raid)/a clan high position/ a clan leader. 2) All members of one side are defeated.
- Once a player joins this thread, the player will remain in the thread until their character is defeated.
- Being 'defeated' includes being killed, being knocked unconscious, or fleeing the battlefield. When your character is defeated, add a sentence in ALL CAPS at the bottom of your post stating either “EXAMPLEPAW FLED THE RAID!” or “EXAMPLEPAW WAS DEFEATED!” Your character will be then assumed to be out of the thread.
- IF A CHARACTER IS INACTIVE IN THE THREAD FOR 48 HOURS SINCE THEIR LAST POST, THE CHARACTER IS CONSIDERED 'DEFEATED' BY DEFAULT. This event will be vague but it is best to assume the character either fled or was knocked out. The only exception to the time limit rule is if your character is actively attacking another character and you are awaiting a response from that targeted character. If a character targeted for an attack has not responded to the attack within 48 hours they are defeated by default. The attacker may post again once the target’s 48 hour time limit is up and within their post they may state “ ‘TARGETED CHARACTER’S NAME’ WAS DEFEATED BY DEFAULT”. Do not explain how they are defeated (that would be power playing) just put that statement in at the bottom of your post and then the player's character will be counted as out of the thread and defeated. Then you may go after another enemy in the thread.
- The creator of a raid thread with these rules applied may keep up with the thread and aid in enforcing the rules fairly to help things run smoothly.
- Please try to be fair when using these rules and do not post within the thread if you have no intent on following the thread’s rules. Do not god mode or power play. Most importantly, have fun! c;

The Hunt
On the first every month, Colouredclanners embark on a tradition of a mass hunt. The tradition is meant to encourage teamwork and to be a demonstration of the clan’s power. This event includes all members who wish to participate and is an event where members work as a team to take down a large and powerful beast. It is possible to run into all kinds of odd and dangerous creatures during these hunting parties and even the slaying of dragons is not out of the question. This hunt usually takes place deep within the many colourful biomes of Colouredclan.
Members participating in the hunt track down and battle to defeat the creature. Whether the hunt is successful or not is believed by some Colouredclanners to influence the clan’s success and luck in future battles/raids for that month. The character that lands the killing blow on the hunted beast is recognized in a celebration after the hunt. Sometimes Colouredclanners will dress themselves in war paint and camouflage to prep for the monthly hunt.
War Paint & Colorful Smoke Bomb Fireworks
ColouredClan members commonly paint themselves before big events such as raids or festivals/parties as a form of celebration and creativity. They become an army decorated by colorful paint for battles and for special events. Also, a signature tactic for ColouredClan is firework smoke bombs and gas masks. Smoke bombs that produce colorful smoke are occasionally used by ColouredClan during raids to create a disorienting scene for opponents. Colouredclanners will wear painted gasmasks into battles were these colorful smoke bombs are in use to help them see and breath within the smoke. The smokescreen is temporary and once it has dissipated the Colouredclanners throw off their masks and continue the fight.
foreign relations ..
ColouredClan identifies as an anti-clan so usually their alliances mirror those beliefs, but it also is not uncommon for them to ally with neutral or pro clans when it is ideal or to make enemies with other anti-clans. ColouredClan choses to ally itself with a select handful of trustworthy allies. By keeping its allies low in number, ColouredClan can put more focus upon forming stronger bonds with its allies. Neutrals are rare for ColouredClan but occasionally (for various reasons) a few groups/clans are named as neutrals. ColouredClan tends to have many enemies and hold a loose belief that if a group is not a chosen and useful ally then the group is an enemy by default.
Allies: BloodClan, The Skulls, DarkClan, The Rift
Neutrals: ShadowClan, SunClan
Enemies: The Blackheart Rogues, The Exiles, The Cartel, + All clans/groups not stated as allies or neutrals
